Nation of Nations: A Concise Narrative of the American Republic, Vol I

Rate this book
This concise and inexpensive text uses a broad chronological narrative approach which uses literary grace to integrate political and social history. NATION OF NATIONS CONCISE stands apart from other brief, or condensed, survey texts in that it retains more detail in a streamlined narrative--its style is clear and its prose lively.

A well done compilation of U.S. history, filled with balanced analysis, and surprisingly a little humor.

Excellent romp through of American History. Great to recap on what I did not care to learn in high school. Can't wait to finish the next volume.
