Own the Eights #3

Own the Eights Maybe Baby

Rate this book

A surprise pregnancy derails a cocky trainer and a snarky bookshop owner’s lives in Own the Eights Maybe Baby, a delightfully steamy romantic comedy from USA Today Bestselling Author Krista Sandor.

Blogger sensations Georgie Jensen and Jordan Marks have plans.

Big plans.

They’re poised to take over the blogosphere as the world’s top blogging sweethearts until a positive pregnancy test changes everything.

Make that twelve positive pregnancy tests.

Yep, this bun in the oven business is the real deal—and not the deal Georgie and Jordan expected to walk into the day after returning from their honeymoon.

These two know blogging, books, and barbells. But in the impending parenthood department, they’re starting at square one.

They know zero, zip, zilch, nada.

To complicate matters more, Georgie will do anything to keep the news from her over-the-top socialite mother until she and Jordan get a handle on the situation.

From a revved up preggo-libido to a pregnancy blogging challenge, the couple is thrown for a loop when they dive headfirst into the Wild West of baby prep.

Ready or not, a baby is coming.

And Georgie and Jordan will be put to the test.

Could this be the ultimate challenge they never knew they needed?

Maybe, baby!

Georgie and Jordan’s story ends with a bang in Own the Eights Maybe Baby, the third and final book in the Own the Eights Series. While this book can be read as a standalone, the series follows Jordan and Georgie as they navigate the ups and downs of love with sizzling chemistry and witty banter.

This is the last book in the Own the Eights Trilogy. I did not read the previous two books prior to this one and I do not suggest doing it this way. I was able to follow along in the book just fine but I felt I was missing something throughout the book. Jordan and Georgie are surprised with a pregnancy. They are newly married couple with their careers on the climb they were not expecting a pregnancy but are excited to embrace it. It is obvious that Jordan and Georgie are use to adapting to changing circumstances. I found this book to be so comical. The banter between the couple definitely makes the book. They find themselves in some pretty hilarious situations. If you are looking for a surprise pregnancy with great humor, great chemistry, sassy banter, eccentric supporting characters, and cute love story this is your book!

The final instalment in the Own The Eights Trilogy and what a perfect way to conclude and round the series off, and I have to say Own The Eights Maybe Baby was everything I expected and I loved being back with one of my favourite couples of 2020. This couples life is never straightforward and a surprise pregnancy is par for the course and neither of them have a clue how to handle the emotions of pregnancy hormones or god forbid a actual baby so when friends offer them a farby baby doll to carry around, it seems like the answers to their prayers but what follows is the chaos of sleepless nights and diaper blowouts .....who would have thought a doll could cause such chaos....
Pregnancy makes Jordan and Georgie’s love even stronger and it enhances the electrifying chemistry they share and I loved everything about this book. Was I sad to see this series end, off course but this funny, emotional, book that’s full of sarcastic banter was the perfect ending. This trilogy will be read and re-read and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers as well as all rom-com lover.

Owns the Eights maybe baby de Krista Sandor Serie Own the Eights libro 3

Argumento:

Saben zero, zip, zilch, nada.

Y Georgie y Jordan serán puestos a prueba.

Georgie and Jordan thought they had been through so much to get to where they are at now and truly, they really were put through it all. When their story first started off, they couldn’t stand each other, competed against each other, then became teammates having to learn to work together. Little did they know that working together would bring the 8 and 10 together in true love bliss for all the internet to see. Then in their next story they are trying to navigate an engagement, crazy wedding gurus, and getting married. Through so many laughs and trials they had to endure, things started to look a little dismal (like an alpaca watching them get it on or using poop shovels) but soon they found that when they worked together and loved hard they had an unbreakable bond. After becoming happily married and in this story they go off to Fiji for a honeymoon to come home with suspicions that they were becoming a family of 3, well 5 if we count Mr. Tuesday and Faby (which we will discuss later). Scared to death of not being prepared and of failing a child, they embark on a crazy ride that will take them through so many bumps and blowout explosions in a virtual grocery store that no one will be able to forget. They are still super nervous and questioning their abilities, but what I loved the most was the reality that as new parents no one had right answers and everyone was scared to death of the unknown. What these two couldn’t see was that they had each other and together they were a perfect team. They couldn’t see past the baby competition at first to realize that they were treating Mr. Tuesday (their dog) like a child and handled that like true bad A parents. Then we are introduced to their fake baby simulator aka Faby for the baby competition and in true bad A parent fashion they took care of that creepy thing like no one’s business. These guys had things handled it just took some time, family, sexy role play, and eccentric friends for them to figure it all out. I have loved watching this 8 (messy bun girl) and that 10 (king of all a$$ hattery) fall in love, steal my heart, and make me laugh like nothing else. This author is amazing at writing characters that will stay with us forever and make us want to come back to over and over again for some good laughs and lovable moments.

Own the Eights Maybe Baby is the third and final book in Krista Sandor’s Own the Eights series, and it was an enjoyable conclusion to the series. In truth, this was a rounded-down three-point-five-star rating with some enjoyable four-star moments.

Own the Eights Maybe Baby has all the crazy that has been present throughout the entire series, ensuring there are plenty of giggles throughout. There’s also some nice development of certain characters, allowing us to see them beyond the entertainment they have given thus far. Although I was hooked on this one, the reason I rounded down is that I found certain elements were a bit too similar to the prior books for my liking. There was a nice symmetry, but it meant I saw certain details coming a bit too easily.

All in all, an enjoyable conclusion to the series.

I hadn’t read the first two books in this series but it didn’t detract from the story. It would have been nice to have more backstory to some of the one liners in this book but it was still a good read. I spent most of this book giggling like crazy. These two have had such a crazy life, even I couldn’t believe everything that happened to these two. A sweet, hilarious surprise baby story!

I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.

Book 3 and the final book in the Own the Eights series. Each book can be read as a standalone. Fun read that will have you laughing as you are reading it. Loved Jordan and Georgie. Watching them try to navigate newly married life and their careers and now a pregnancy was so much fun. If you need a pick me up, then this is the series for you. Great read.

Our favorite blogging couple is back, this time with a baby on the way. They’ve survived goat yoga and latrine shovels, but wait until you see what's in store for them. Of course everything between Georgie and Jordan is a competition, and they wouldn’t be part of the City Beat family without having a pregnancy somehow turn into a competition full if mishaps and shenanigans.

Y'all, this book is worth reading for Georgie's first OB visit alone. I laughed so hard I was in tears and want so badly to spill all the deets, but, hello spoilers. Just imagine the absolute worst doctor’s name for an OB along with his uncomfortably over-the-top personality, and the train wreck of exhausted baby/toddler daddies trying to corral their tykes while discussing all the necessary preregistrations for an up-and-coming Denver baby to go places in life. Our only-child, over achieving couple quickly learns their internet research knowledge in no way translates to real life pregnancy and parenting.

We get to revisit other characters we've come to love, including the quirky, loveable owners of City Beat and Georgie’s mother, as well as Brice, Georgie's original bad date who inspired her blog. There are plenty of laughs as City Beat turns pregnancy into a competition and chronicles the pregnancy.

We also get plenty of spicy times, because pregnancy hormones, and loads of heart as Georgie and Jordan navigate the craziness and fall deeper in love. Riotously funny and incendiary while sweet and tender, you’ll love this endearing, adorable couple. Get your copy today of one of the best reads of the year. You won’t want to miss a minute of the Battle of the Births and the internet's favorite sweethearts!

This was such a fun journey. From the first meeting to the last moments of Maybe Baby I have completely fallen in love with Jordan and Georgie. Three laugh out loud books with a lot of crazy ridiculous moments, a lot of amazing characters, some relatable moments (for anyone who has ever had a baby) and whole lot of love! Yes, these books are over the top rom coms but they also are full of so much heart that you can't help but smile even months after you read them.

Okay so there is a little about the series as a whole but now lets talk about Maybe Baby. Oh my so much greatness to be had in this book, from a joyless nurse named Joyce, to an ob named Dr. Beaver (absolute genius) to the baby NFL (bahaahahhaha) and a fake baby named Faby, this book pokes fun at the crazy things we parents do when we see that little plus sign (or lines or pregnant) symbol on those plastic sticks or see the very first grainy image on the ultrasound, or the whooshing sound of the heartbeat of those soul sucking parasites that will change our lives forever. Going on the journey with Jordan and Georgie was so much fun, you will laugh out loud, you will snort loudly so that you get mean mugged by the other people at the football game your son is playing in ( ok this was me during half time lol) and you will absolutely love every minute of this book.

This was the perfect ending for this series and I'm going to miss Jordan and Georgie's craziness so much. This book was everything I was expecting and so much more!!

This book picks up after Jordan and Georgie are back from their honeymoon , and our favourite blogging couple finds and unexpected surprise and after so many pregnancy test and a visit to the doctor they find that they are expecting a little pineapple in the oven.

Of course this book is full of crazy super funny situations and our favourite couple are face with another blogging challenge in where they have to take a fake baby with them "Faby". This two face so many funny obstacles that I was laughing so hard throughout the whole book, honestly it was the perfect romcom.

And the ending was the most beautiful ever (I might have cried a little), Krista Sandor did an amazing job with this series, bringing the perfect characters and a perfect plot that is definitely a must read.

Georgie and Jordan's story wraps up with Own the Eights: Maybe Baby. It has been so fun to follow them from first meeting to marriage and now to baby.

This story is full of humor and heartfelt moments as Georgie and Jordan try to prepare for the arrival of their baby. I found myself laughing often as they try to figure out what to do when starting at square one in parenting knowledge. They love each other above all, though, and I liked getting to see this next step in their lives.

While you could jump in with this book, I do recommend starting with book one so you get Georgie and Jordan's whole story.

The books in this trilogy are my first reads from Krista Sandor and now I can't wait to try more of her books.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

This book was cute and fun. It definitely had a flow to it because it was gripping one minute and then it slowed down the next but it was still an enjoyable journey. As the last book in the series of three we got to see Jordan and Georgie with their biggest challenge, having a baby. And of course it is made into a competition that is quite comical. I also really enjoyed the epilogue because we got to see where the family is after 6 years and see how happy they all were. I enjoy those types of epilogues when I know we are done with this couple in their own series. Anyway, if you’re looking for a cute RomCom this is your book!

This is the final instalment in the own the eights trilogy... and what a perfect ending for this amazing series.
Jordan and Georgie have been one of my favourite couples from the beginning.
But the road to happiness has never been easy... lots of laugh out loud moments and heaps of fun.... but never easy.
So a surprise pregnancy when arriving home after their honeymoon is the icing on the cake.
In true own the eights style, both of them freak out and hilarity ensues.
Introduce Faby.... a baby doll for them to carry around like a real baby. I bet no one thought a doll could create so much chaos.
But our favourite bloggers are out to prove they are up for the challenge.
This book is a must read.
It was hard saying goodbye to these characters, including the much loved secondary characters.
I’m sure this series will be on constant reread.
Being stuck in lockdown this was the perfect ISO pick me up.
I was given an ARC but voluntarily chose to review

Ok so very first time reading anything from this author but I gotta tell ya Krista Sandor is funny AF! Like really funny!!
Jordan and Georgie are the Bonn couple!! Funny. Sexy. So in love it’s almost sickening lol!

So this is the third book in the series but the author has so graciously summed up books one and two that you have a good enough background on what happened in those books so that you aren’t lost in this one. I personally didn’t know that there was a book one and two so I am going to have to read those now that I’ve read the third. There are so many references like the pooper scooper one that made both Georgie and Jordan shudder intrigued me enough to have to read the first two books. Hell the way these two hated each other from the first day and somehow made it to the altar and pregnant intrigued me enough to go back and read them!

The writing is one of quality. Just enough spunk. Enough idiocies that these two come up with on a daily basis. Enough love. Enough of everything for this book to be a hit! I’m just sad that I didn’t start the series from the beginning. Some authors joke around too much in their books and that takes away from the story. There is a story in this one and it’s the funniest and cutest thing.

Oh and as a Crossfitter myself I appreciated Jordan that much more!

There is no way you won’t like this book I guarantee it!!

The conclusion to Jordan and Georgie’s story was Everything that I needed it to be!

I have Loved this couple since Own the Eights! The hilarious situations and the chemistry between the two completely makes this story! We’ve laughed and cried, overcome fears (of goats)! Endings are always bittersweet because I could read about this couple forever!

This series is so swoon worthy! You won’t regret reading this! Definitely my favorite romantic comedy of the year!

This book was waaaaaaaay more entertaining than I thought it would be. Even though this book is a part of a series - and you should definitely read the first two books if you have the time - I felt like this book gave enough clues into their overall story that I wasn't missing out on a ton of the series as I was reading.

A surprise pregnancy throws these newlyweds' lives upside down, which leads to a hilarious and pretty adorable story. I loved the funny moments scattered throughout the story just as much as I loved the serious moments that really tested their marriage and their impending parenthood. Jordan and Georgie have such a strong relationship that I knew they would be fine, but watching unexpected parenthood come into the picture really tests them individually and as a couple. They're stronger together, though, and make it through this book better than ever (and with a plus one).

Be ready for a lot of laughs, some "aw" moments, some cringe-worthy moments, and everything in between. I loved this read!

Expect the unexpected with these two because nothing ever goes according to plan! Which is why I love these two! I can’t picture a better way to end this series and though I’m crying tears of joy and from all the laughter I’m also sad to have this end! I have come to love these two and being a Colorado resident I love being able to drive around town and picture places that Georgie and Jordan would love!

I love how quirky these two are but how they own it! They know who they are now and that’s the aspect I have loved most about these books! We got to see these two grow individually and as a couple! We got to see the good and the bad parts of love! We saw them almost break but rebuild themselves even stronger! A very beautiful series that is equal parts hilarious and steamy!

This is book 3 in the own the eights Series. Jordan and Georgie had a world wind romance, wedding and now they are having a baby. I find Georgie to be a bit immature and goofy. Jordan and Georgie fumble the way thought the pregnancy and getting ready for parenthood. This was a entertaining series, I had A few laugh out loud moments.

I have to admit that I was a little worried about starting "Own the Eights Maybe Baby" because I hadn't read the first two books in the series, and all three books follow the same main characters, Georgie and Jordan, as they meet, fall in love, and eventually tie the knot. However, this book totally worked for me as a standalone, and I had a blast getting to know this couple and following along with their adventures.

Georgie and Jordan were incredibly likeable and relatable main characters, and I found it very easy to sympathize with their fears as they prepared to welcome their first child. I particularly appreciated the fact that they made such an effort to communicate their concerns and find ways to address them together, rather than bottling everything up inside. Even though they had only been together and married for a relatively short period of time, it was easy to see how much Jordan and Georgie loved each other and why their relationship worked so well.

I also adored all of the wonderfully quirky, amusing secondary characters who came along to either help or complicate matters for Georgie and Jordan. I think my favorites were Georgie's OB/GYN, the handsome Dr. Beaver, and crotchety Nurse Joyce, who made quite the pair! I also enjoyed Jordan and Georgie's eccentric bosses, Hector and Bobby, plus "child development experts" Lenny and Stu. They came up with some outlandish challenges for the couples participating in their infant workshop, but I was surprised at how well their lessons actually worked.

Overall, I loved "Own the Eights Maybe Baby" and highly recommend it for all fans of romantic comedy. I will certainly be going back to read the first two parts of Georgie and Jordan's story and look forward to seeing what Krista Sandor writes next.

Georgie and Jordon love story is beautifully written in this laugh until you cry Rom-Com. As you know from the previous books, which if you haven’t read I suggest you start there. You just don’t know what’s going to happen next. You can’t help but laugh and cry along with these Georgie and Jordon. Grab this book sit back with a beverage you don’t mind wearing and enjoy the witty banter and mishaps as these two live through the next stage of there life.

Rating: 4 out of 5.
This was my very first introduction to Sandor’s writing and this series is one I wish I had found much sooner. Georgie and Jordan are adorable as can be! I love the quick-witted humor and the easy way these two characters get along. While this was certainly my kind of romantic comedy, it wasn’t without it’s own brand of stress and anxiety too.

Georgie and Jordan have had a very fast-paced relationship. Meeting like 5 or 6 months ago as rivals, they quickly found they were actually perfect for each other and were whisked into marriage after only a few short months together. Now, right after their honey mood, they’ve found out they’re having a baby and neither of them knows a darn thing about how to care for a baby.

Not only will you love the steamy, hot relationship between these two, but you will also enjoy the humorous ride of all the inside jokes to be had between them and their family and friends. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but it reads so much better when you have read the ones that come before it. You’ll get to know their entire back story and how they ended up together and in the position they are in now.

Sandor does an amazing job weaving humor seamlessly into the lives of these characters and I wouldn’t be able to imagine their dynamic in any other way. One of my favorite scenes is in the beginning when they go to the OBGYN to confirm their pregnancy and Jordon is assaulted in the waiting room by a toddler! It brings to mind all of the fun antics I have had as a mother of three young kids and how much you can never really prepare for what it’s like to be a parent.

Georgie & Jordan have had quite the entertaining journey to get to this point, and I'm telling you, I'm not sure I'll ever stop laughing when I think about these two and their crazy antics. They're newly married, and SURPRISE! They're going to be a family of 3, which they aren't prepared for. This is my next point, Krista Sandor penned this portion of the program with a ton of realism, because these two were scared of this new chapter in their lives, and not only was it realistic as they tried to figure out how things were going to go, it also added another hysterically funny aspect. So, we have hilarious shenanigans, and a surprise baby, but there's also the heat these two put off. Even that situation had the laughs with a crazy animal on top of being super hot. I'm telling y'all, EVERYONE NEEDS THIS COUPLE IN THEIR LIVES so hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

5 Star review of Own The Eights Maybe Baby (Own The Eights #3) by Krista Sandor
The conclusion to the series and oh what a great ending Own The Eights Maybe Baby was. Nothing ever goes to plan for Jordan and Georgie and a surprise pregnancy is no exception. Neither of them have a clue how to handle the news and the journey they embark on is at times hilarious.
Although this book can be read as a stand alone I do feel that you would get even more enjoyment if you were to read the first two books as they are just as entertaining and funny as this one.
Pregnancy only enhances the love and chemistry that Jordan and Georgie share and this book ticked all the boxes for me. Their lives may be crazy but these two know how to live and love.
A wonderful story that I loved .I was sad when I finished it

Relationship then engage then married and now... BABY ?!

This is surprised pregnancy at its excellence!
Both Jordan and Georgie haven't plan this and they are overwhelmed by the expectations and new duty as parents.
Their apprehension and clueless over what to do is sometimes amusing.
From weird pregnancy's cravings to they sign up for Pregnancy 101 class which include a FaBy aka Fake Baby, and their blog and businesses, Jordan and Georgie have their plate full.
One thing for sure: their love is getting stronger with the arrival of surprise allien peanut turn pinapple.
It only solidifies that they are destined for each other.

The Emperor of Asshattery and his Emperess reign with their princesses happily ever after!

While this book tiptoed over the line between screwball and corny comedy a few times, it was the perfect way to end Georgie and Jordan’s journey from animosity to love to family. Faby, a momster who tried to reform but found that her best self was something between Shaolin monk and Denver socialite queen, the hilarity of Jordan and Georgie finding their way toward preparedness for their actual baby (Joyce and the OB!), and even Georgie’s “worst luck in the best place” childbirth experience made for an entertaining read. And this time around, it wasn’t Jordan and Georgie almost falling apart, but everyone and everything around them that caused the chaos. This journey was definitely a fun one and Georgie and Jordan both deserved the happy they found in the end.

This book is part of the Own The Eights Series and is book #3 in the series. This book follows on with the story of Georgia and Jordan and this book like the other two will make you laugh out loud in parts.

This book brings to an end there story and the journey they have been on and with a surprise pregnancy and as we have followed them through there lives it was sweet to see how they got there complete happily ever after. The pregnancy was funny to read and what they both went through throughout and while getting ready for parenthood and to meet there new little was cute. I really like how this author writes and this series has been a sweet romance story, story of two people that deserved a HEA.
