The world will just be a better place if we can get rid of one certain archdemoness. Our plans to move against her are going to take a drastic detour as an obvious vampire attack attracts the attention of the human police and the vampire Imperium. This means that Felix will need to lay low so the Imperium won't know he is free yet.
I will race to find answers, along with Mac and Jason. Whatever bad little vampire is causing trouble in our district will need to be dealt with so we can focus on dealing with Devina.
But along the way, I'll get to steal some time away with a couple Kings of Fairy as well as some quality time with the men I love.
Our lives are on the line, and I will have to march through Hell to find the Heaven I want to keep on Earth.
Liddie grew up in Alabama right next door to her poet Grandmother. Writing has always been a large part of her life. She grew up to marry her high school sweet heart then spent a few years working in health care. Once her daughter was born in 2016, she resolved that it was time to focus on her dream of writing. When not writing, she enjoys watching Disney and Harry Potter movies, hiking, swimming and making arts and crafts with her daughter.
Thus has been an amazing fast paced series. A good storyline and some fantastic characters. I will say and this is my personal opinion that when they threw the other girl in it completely ruined the group dynamic for me especially since she didn't have romantic feelings for her herself. If the series wasn't so fabulous I would have even rated it lower because it just didn't fit well. Also the only reason that I didn't rate it five stars. This is a new author and her writing is spectacular and I look forward to reading what she has in the future.
I was enjoying this series, I really was. Then it suddenly chanced from why choose to polyamory in this book. Like... what? Everything was so fast that I'm feeling lost. So many unnecessary elements and too many plots thrown around that something seemed to be missing. The main plot was okay and the final battle too. And that's the reason for the third star. Because this bag of kittens made me feel pretty confused.
The Glittering Halo, book 3 of the Rozalyn Hunt series, is an ebook I downloaded from Kindle Unlimited. As with the first books in the series, the grammar could use work, but this story has a rushed feel with simple mistakes that should have been caught by the editor. The author takes readers on a few more weird tangents, but the whole plot simply works. This ending was very satisfying.
Liddie does it again. All those hopes I had from book two, came through in this one. I still love Felix and Mac to death and the kings are cherries on the proverbial ice cream. I always hate getting to the end, but this one does not disappoint!
This series was truly an amazing story. There were many ups and downs but no matter what happened the characters worked together to achieve any problem they faced, I can’t wait for more from this author.
Third and final part of this story and what a payoff!! Packed full of excitement drama and romance it bought it all full circle nicely, the only part I was not a fan off was Song, I did not enjoy that aspect of the story for some reason but other than that all good!
Wow there were more then a few bombs let loose that I didn’t expect at all. All hell breaks loose Roz and her guys gather with their allies to try and defeat the Demon Queen .
Loved it. Beautiful end to a fantastic series. It's not your typical rh and there is some f/f moments in it. Lovely writing and great storytelling. I love that Lucifer was nice in this book!
I enjoyed reading this series. It had some interesting twists and turns in the series. A little bit mystery, a heroine who gets all the guys and sexy times.
A LOT happens in this book, especially because it’s not actually that long. In other words there is lots of plot activity and not much subtle building of tension or emotions. However, that doesn’t not negate that it’s a really enjoyable and fun book.
The story starts with a missing girl, apparently abducted by vampires, which brings in a police investigation and an Imperium investigation. The Imperium investigation is by far the most frightening because it places all demonic eyes on Roz’s home town, exactly where they don’t want them to be. They are trying to cover up that Felix has been found, that Roz is a nephilim, that Roz’s angelic parents have been set free and that Meredith is under the spell of Maeve and therefore not doing the bidding of her Demon Queen. With all this to hide, it doesn’t take very much to make it all unravel.
Along with all the heavy plot activity, there is also plenty of hot steamy scenes. There may also be more people added to the relationship or polycule as Mac calls it. Some of those additions are obvious, others are less so and felt like they came out of left field to a certain extent. This is the main problem with having a plot dense book, there is little time to explain important emotional decisions. If you are happy to just stick a pin in it and say, it’s fiction, it’s fun, it’s not important to be emotionally true, then this works. If you like a little bit more explanation for things, you may be a little disappointed.
All in all, this was an enjoyable, escapist read, even if it felt a bit rushed to me.
