Rule No. 1: Don’t piss off the Sick Boys

They’re cruel. Reckless. Impossibly fucked up.

The Sick Boys feed on the order they create. They rule Eastpoint University just as their families have for decades. But their power doesn’t stop there. The three of them are heirs to some of the largest fortunes in the world, and behind that kind of wealth lies an underworld of corruptio

PRETTY-LITTLE-SAVAGE

'PRETTY LITTLE SAVAGE:' is the first full length New Adut, Romance book in the series 'Sick Boys,' by new to me author Lucy Smoke. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'

*Whispers* please be good, please be good!!
I blame it on my cover hoe eyes, one look at the cover ohhhhh there's a sign up!! 😂

*Phew* I am so glad to announce that this lived up to the hotty on the cover!!

An elite group of three boys, Dean, Abel and Brax rule their kingdom with an iron fist, footballers, ruthless to a T. Until

I found the heroine quite strong for this genre which was a really nice change. I’m fact I think I can safely say she seemed more alpha then the male lead! I am really pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this book simply for the reason the heroine was strong even if she was slightly not sane in my opinion. I was really wary thinking this might be RH but was so glad it wasn’t as I am not a fan of those. Strong characters with a really good plot.

I received a free copy of this book via Bookspro

This cover...Wow! That sold me right away. The read itself wasn't far behind.
This is not a bully book, but does have an enemies to lovers vibe for sure. It had push and pull, it had twists and turns. It had it all!

Avalon and Dean had undeniable chemistry. Off the charts. All the Sick Boys had Avalon set in their sights, but Dean claimed her from the start. She was a fighter through and through. She had to be with a mother like hers.
Dean was dark and broody. It was hard to read him. He was one

...and the fact that it ended on a damn cliffhanger does not help. and its worse that the next book comes out in 2021.

First book by Lucy & it was pretty okay cause I think I over exaggerated when I said, “so far, so good.” 😅
I didn’t feel connection between the main characters, there no was growth | development in their relationship. Just bickering, back & forth, and hotheaded. I felt their sexual tensions to get it on, that’s about it. 😂😂 The author doesn’t list this book as a bully romance, but reading into it. It’s pretty much like a bully romance. Dean bullies Avalon to submit to him cause he’s a control fre

The cover and the blurb caught my interest immediately!!
The plot was intriguing, the heroine was feisty and badass, the hero arrogant and typical arshole!
But the content of the 10 chapters I read could have been expressed in 4, max 5 ones. It was too lengthy and wordy for me, dnf @ 20%.

A fierce heroine that trusts no one and fights not only with words but also with her fists.
Ava is a new transfer to an elite wealthy private school where she meets Dean, Abel, Brax and others that could be friends or foes.
No one knows her purpose of being at this new school and involved with the “sicko” boys.

I did find some things reminiscent to another book in this same genre and would have liked more depth.

Drama, angst, violence and secrets are plentiful in this read.

That cliffhanger was in

I have mixed emotions about this one. I thought I would love it from the blurb, unfortunately, I just couldn't connect with the characters.

Lucy had a ruff time growing up which left her being very strong and self-reliant but constantly acting out. The Sick Boys may have had money growing up but that doesn't mean that their lives have been full of roses. When Lucy's brains get her into Eastpoint University the Sick Boys are just as determined to show Lucy her lace as she is to act out in defianc

Pretty Little Savage (Sick Boys #1) by Lucy Smoke. Dark New Adult, College, Enemies To Lovers Romance.

Great opening and could not put it down. Dean and the other two Sick Boys, Abel and Brax has their hands full with Avalon. Especially Dean who no one tells him no, until Avalon came along. Loved the slow burn, push and pull and the angst level was high. Their banter was fun and she had some great comebacks. Avalon craves chaos, trust no one and can get a bit crazy. She can definitely

The story reminded me a lot of the Dark Legacy Series by Jaymin Eve with some minor difference.

The h in this book is one kickass, take no bullshit girl but something she is too bitchy...

It's not Rh that are becoming hard to find.

HOLY FREAKING HELL! I was seriously not prepared for this book! The MINUTE I read Avalon’s filthy, snarky, cursing-like-a-sailor mouth, I was in love! My love for bad ass females is more like an obsession, and Avalon as absolutely my new obsession! Not only was she tough as shit, not taking ANY shit from ANYone, but she didn’t back down from a damn thing. Not to mention I don’t think I have EVER read a character that curses more than her, AND I FUCKING LOVED IT! I have the mouth of

It’s been days since I finished Pretty Little Savage and I STILL have no words. This book just blew me away! The characters, the world building, everything was simply incredible! Ten out of ten would recommend and I should mention that Pretty Little Savage has taken number first place in my favorite books of 2020!

Whew. I was not prepared for the badassness of Avalon. Alot of times in the bully trope we get the promise of a badass FMC but they fall flat. That was not the case with Avalon. She bent for no one only doing what suited her. I loved that she used silence as a weapon and turning peoples discomfort with it into a tool. I adored her and While Dean was absolutely droll worthy Avalon stole the show for me. Her no nonsense attitude and no fucks given approach to life was infectious.

“What a wicked savagely twisted ride!”

I’m going to be completely honest the cover to this book is what caught my eye first then I read the blurb and thought this is a book that I need to read and boy was I right ! This was such a good read ! I love the characters this author has created and the world they live in this book is a very addicting read . Dean and Avalon’s chemistry is off the charts hot and it’s pretty clear that they are drawn towards each other from the beginning. This story is ful

Pretty Little Savage has all the makings of a book I love- intriguing elitist society, class clashes and bully tropes, a strong and resilient heroine thrust into a world that she knows nothing about, and a group of interesting and alpha males who run the show with no consequence. There was a lot to like here- mystery, our heroine is amazing, and a pretty awesome back quarter. Unfortunately, the rest of the story moved a smidge too slow for me, and our hero didn’t spark for me in the w

Dude! WTF!!

Whoa. I am like speechless, I'm still reeling from that cliffy. Goodness. I can't even think straight. This book was intense!!

Dean Carter is freaking hot, controlling, and the KING. No one defies him, no one disobeys him, his sheep follow the herd and stay in line without even a second look from him. Until...

Avalon Manning is a savage.. she does what she wants when she wants and follows nobody's rules but her own. She doesn't care who you are, no one will control her. She lives her

Where do I even begin to describe how much I loved this book. Basically the only thing that I wanted more, was for it to be RH, because damn... these boys are perfect for this! But I digress... despite of my soft spot for Dean, Abel and Braxton, even that part doesn't make me love it any less than I did.

The FMC, Avalon Manning, is one tough girl if I ever saw one. She spend her life in a less than ideal situation and is used to fight back and keep her guard up at all times. She's not one to be

"It’s not hard to see savagery in someone else when you see it in the mirror every day."

I have been anticipating reading this book since I read the blurb a couple weeks ago and it definitely didn't dissapoint me. I wont lie, I initially thought Avalon and Dean's story was a standalone in an interconnected series but hey I'm not AT ALL upset about getting another book for these two. There are so many questions we need answered!!!!

Avalon was such a fierce, bad ass FMC and I loved being inside her

O. M. G. This book is one of the best romance stories I’ve ever read in the last few months. I love every singe aspect of it!!!

The main character, Avalon, is literally my spirit animal. She’s the definition of cunning, interlignent, strong, and brave. Avalon is always fighting back and standing up for herself despite the fact that she comes from an awful childhood. The life shelves through has hardened her, shaping her into the spectacular heroine she is today.

Talk about a dark, enemies-to-lovers romance.

This is my first experience reading Lucy Smoke and I have to say, I have a feeling I'm about to be her next biggest fan.

Pretty Little Savage was, to be completely cliché, pretty little savage. I was hooked from the prologue and knew I was going to be in for a wild ride. I plopped my ass down on the couch, ignored my family (love them though!) and devoured this story in one afternoon.

First, I loved the other Sick Boys, Abel and Brax. They added a nice

This book was amazing. I loved every part of it! Wow. Avalon is one hell of a strong and fierce woman. She takes no sh*t from anyone. When you push her, she pushes 10 times as hard back. She will never be owned. Her freedom is something she had to fight for, so she will do anything to keep it. When the sick boys meet her, they want to own her. They want her to obey them like all the sheep do. But Avalon will fight them every way. So when Dean, king of the sick boys, takes a personal interest in h ...more

I've got this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Also this book deserves at least 20 out of 5 stars when it comes to dark themes! Probably even more!

Hell yeah!!! This is EXACTLY my type of book! This book is so effing dark that my darkness calls to it!! I freaking loved it!

This was the exact push and pull I'd expect in the dark book. I mean, I freaking demolished the book! I'd love to leave this as my review, but at the same time I know I can't.

Oh, wow! I loved loved loved the heroine!

I was definitely not expecting the thrill this book brought. It had me glued at it from beginning to the end. Dean?! Oh yeah, I'd take him any day. But Avalon! I absolutely love her. Her character is amazing! She's fierce, strong, takes no crap, she knows how to fight, she's independent and she's got nothing to lose. Which makes her deadly! And there's this hinting about her being someone, being somebodys,... I'm guessing at this point. Gah, I can not wa

Not even going to lie, I have never read a book by this author before and I read this book because of the cover....and holy hell I'm glad I did, best decision ever.

Pretty little savage is a dark bully, enemies to lover romance and Avalon now rates as one of my fave lead characters. Ava is everything you want to see in a female character, badass and takes no crap from anyone, Not even the sick boys (Dean, Abel & Braxton).

Heck to mother fluffing YES! I LOVED this book. I'll admit I waited a while to read it because I saw it was book 1 of a series, but I was sick of waiting. And I'm glad I didn't. Avalon was a BEAST. It was so refreshing not to fret over a main character. You know that saying "Wouldn't want to meet them in a dark alley."? The dark alley would run from Avalon. She's the anti-damsel I've been dying to see. I absolutely cannot wait for book 2 and will definitely be reading this one again before then! ...more
