When an unlikeable retiree passes out while walking home from Felica's food truck, everyone dismisses the incident as a simple medical emergency, but Felicia's not convinced. Someone had a hand in Mrs. Dunn's collapse, and Felicia is determined to find out who and why. When Felicia's food truck is held up by a masked robber, it's up to Felicia to find the real culprit before the wrong man is convicted of the crime. When Antonio's mobile pizza kitchen starts poaching Felicia's customers, she's less than pleased. But then a rash of vandalism culminates in the rival food truck going up with a bang, and her cook, Arnie, has some explaining to do. It's up to Felicia to find the real perpetrator before Arnie is charged with the crime. When bizarre objects start showing up in the hotdogs and chili fries Felicia is serving her customers, she wonders if someone is trying to get her food truck shut down. But when the same thing starts happening at other local eateries, Felicia vows to find out who's behind it all before somebody gets seriously injured.

These shorts were such a cute and fun way to spend the time. However, I can't believe the author left it like this! I need to have an epilogue to Arnie and Felicia's story!
Felicia owns a food truck in a small town with a large concentration of seniors. With the help of her best friend and cook, Arnie, they try to make a living while dealing with a regular cast of slightly off beat senior customers. But when strange things happen, Felicia sets out to solve the mystery.
These are all non-murder mysteries. While each one is short, they all have several red herrings to keep them from having an obvious solution. The characters are enjoyable. There is even a small touch of romance included.
I enjoyed these stories. They actually felt more believable than most cozy mysteries mainly because the problems were smaller than murders. So an amateur detective solving them instead of the police makes sense. The police wouldn't be all over the investigation like a murder and the culprit wouldn't be just as likely to kill the amateur detective. Fun, quick reads.
This set of 4 stories based around Felicia’s food truck are just a nice length to finish in one sitting for each the stories are fun quirky mysteries involving non murder crimes. The books work well in succession as the characters have a bit more revealed in each. Their personality, the relationships with each other and their pasts are revealed a bit at a time. There are some humorous scenes surrounding Felicia, her food truck partner- Arnie, officer Scott- her ex, and the residents of the local senior complex. All in all enjoyable reads
I really loved the one hour mysteries, I wish there were more of them, at times I’m so busy it’s a few days before I can get back to my book, so these are perfect. I really like the food truck idea, they are fun. keep them coming. Thanks, Linda M
