Choices. Everyone makes them. But mine would ruin us all.

I read Release by Aly Martinez earlier this year and it remains one of my top favorite books of 2020. When I heard we were getting Ramsey's sister's book, I couldn't wait. Nora's story did not disappoint. It was emotional in the best way, sweet and romantic. I loved this one!

Nora Stewart and her brother have had a hard life. Nora takes solace by the trees and creek in the summer, spending time away from her abusive

First of all I want to Thank the author Aly Martinez for writing about this epic love story, I have so much respect for her at the moment! for FINALLY breaking the whole cliche plot of two people being in love with one another but while waiting for the other person to heal, one of the

This has been a brutal month for reading emotional stories for me and now I can add Reclaim to that list. Friends to enemies, best friends/ lovers, whatever you want to call it, this story seriously took you on a journey that was NOT easy at times.

If you’ve read Release then you were already introduced to Nora and Camden and you were practically salivating for their story. This story starts out wen Nora is eleven years old and Camden is twelve and we got front row seats to the start of a friends

I've been waiting for Nora's book! I am on the fence about her since I read Release because, no surprise, I really didn't like the choices she made there and it sure is going to be addressed in this one too, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope that I end up liking her in this! ...more

I'd been waiting this book ever since I read Release. Ramsey and Thea found their HEA, but there was someone lurking in the background and now she's front and center in Reclaim.
First page had me hooked and I couldn't stop reading till I saw them safe and happy at the last page, I didn't want fate to throw cold water on them yet again when I wasn't looking. So I didn't put down the book and kept praying hard for the now my fave couple of the year

I should probably say a few more words about this story other than what I said above, but honestly, what does one say about a story like this? It’s life at its rawest. There are quite literally less than zero rainbows and gumdrops in most of the story and some of it was a hailstorm of licorice jellybeans on my soul and my heart. Well I thought since I made it through Release without needing to hit the mini bar I would jump right on into Reclaim. Big mistake. I have spent half my night ugly crying and wondering why I willingly let these authors reduce me to this.

Obviously since I had just put down Release I knew Nora's story was going to be hard. But omg that poor girl, the hits just kept right on coming. And every time I thought we were turning a corner to happiness the rug was pulled right out from under me. The streng
Now that is what I call "angsty" !! An emotional rollercoaster ride from beginning to end, and I loved every second of it.

This just proves once again, what a talented author Aly Martinez is. I think it is time to reread some of my favorites of her ;)

Cam and Nora’s journey was emotional and heartfelt.
They met just before their teen years and their connection was so beautiful!! They were facing difficult times, especially Nora, but their friendship was the highlight of their hard days!

While they were growing up their feelings became deeper and stronger and later fell in love.

Such amazing and incredible characters❣️
Although they were apart, they were always there for each other, supportive, helpful and caring.

This is a love story that spans over 15 years or so. A bond formed in childhood that morphs into something deep and lasting as they get older. However, the road to a happy ever after is far from easy and at times just tragic. We begin with a prologue that shows a moment in time, a split decision that will leave a lasting effect on everyone in this story. We then go back a few years and see the beginnings of what lead to this awful night.

I loved this emotionally charged friends to lovers romance! This love story spans over several years from childhood friendship to adult romance. Significant traumatic events as children change the course of their lives and this book shows their journey back to each other.

Nora and Cam meet when they are 11 and 12 respectively. Nora's mother left her and her brother with their abusive father and to say she has trust issues is an understatement. The summer she meets Camden was finally some

***5 ‘Worms’ Stars***

When this book was announced and who it would be about it, I couldn’t remember who Nora was, or even Ramsey and Thea ~ not surprising considering how many books I read a month ~ so I searched for ‘Ramsey’ in my docs and up pops my review of Release and as I skim over it, it hits. I remember this book, these characters and all that they went through and, as my review reminded me, how I was put through ringer because of it and I knew I NEEDED to get my hands on Reclaim.

Reclaim can be read as a stand-alone but it will contain spoilers for the book Release. The book release was focusing on the relationship of Thea and Ramsey, and in Reclaim we are now looking at Nora and Cam's story. The story starts when Nora is eleven and Cam is twelve years old. Cam is visiting his grandparents and meets Nora at a creek and this is the start of a beautiful friendship. Nora has abandonment issues and is very hesitan

In usual Aly Martinez style this one gutted me. My heart is still in shambles. What an INCREDIBLE journey! Reclaim is a truly beautiful story of survival, friendship and true love overcoming the odds. It gave me all the feels! I LOVED Thea and Ramsay's story in Release, when I read it earlier this year so as soon as Aly announced she'd be writing Ramsay's sister Nora's story I could not wait to read it. These kids have been through so much! It was truly heart clenching to read. My heart

Nora and Camden not only shine in this story they radiate from the pages. Aly Martinez took such tragedy and built such love and light within their little world by the creek. I could not put this one down and fell in love with both of them along the journey. The brutality of what life can throw at you brought to life so poignantly it startled me. The feelings, voices, thoughts and fears were drawn in a way they could be felt instead of just read. Passion that surpassed years of neglect and fear ...more

And again, Ms Martinez takes you on a journey full of feels! And I think the best part of the enjoyment was reading Release directly before Reclaim. I was still reeling in the feels from Ramsey and Thea's adventure that Nora and Cam's story brought them ten-fold.

Never disappointed and never skimming over slow parts (which this had NONE) Nora and Cam's story had me so full of anticipation of the slow and beautiful romance these two shared.

This story. These two. Oh my. My heart broke for them over and over. We met Nora Stewart and her older brother in Ramsey's book, Release so we knew some of the story. How an already broken young girl lost her innocence and her protector and lives with the guilt of her choices every day. But Nora's full account is a hard-fought journey to find self-worth and happiness.

Choices. Everyone makes them. From mundane to unimaginable, one choice can change the trajectory of your entire life.

Reclaim is a standalone but we have met these characters in Release which was about Thea and
Nora’s brother Ramsey. Nora and Cam met at the creek when they were only 12 years old. The two were inseparable but Cam had to leave and that night he was not able to say good bye. Nora and her brother Ramsey already have abandonment issues when their mother skipped town and left them an alcoholic abusive father. When Cam came back in town Nora was not ready to forgive him. I am a big fan of Aly Martinez and when I saw that she was writing a book about Nora from the “Release” book I knew I had to brace myself for what I was going to read, and yeah, the feels were strong in this one.

This book is a big example of “Right person, wrong time”, Nora had such a difficult childhood that made it impossible for her and Candem to be together. Thankfully neither of them gave up throughout very hard years of growing and being capable to find themselves, they were able to have t

Reclaim is a coming of age, angst filled read that I simply adored. I loved stepping back into this world and catching up with Thea and Ramsey but mostly I enjoyed getting Nora’s point of view and watching her fall for Camden. Their journey was by no means easy but it was fitting. I loved it and definitely recommend it.

I'M ALWAYS EXCITED for a book by Aly Martinez. Always. There has not been one book that I haven't wanted to devour, and knowing how much I enjoyed Release, Reclaim was going to be another puzzle piece added to this story and a natural must read for me. If you are looking for an easy read, one with a love that spanned years and showed true strength when it would have been easier to let go - this is your book.

Reclaim is that perfect mix of coming-of-age and second-chance romance. Aly Martinez poured her heart and soul into this book, giving me the story I knew I needed for Nora Stewart. She was such a stand out character for me in Release and deserved her own chance at some happy. And never did I dream, nor did she if I had to venture a guess, that a man like freaking Cameron Cole would ultimately be the one to give her the world.

I'm honestly rendered a bit speechless by this book. There is much to p

A friends to lovers story that takes place over several years, Camden Cole and Nora Stewart meet when they're kids and despite distance and time they always find themselves back together, now if they could just need to stay together.

Book two in the series focuses on the little sister of the hero from book one. I don't know how I feel about this one, some heavy themes but for some reason although my heart ached at times there were also moments where I should have been nose deep in the scene taki

Never one to take herself too seriously, she enjoys cheap wine, charcuterie boards, and her mildly neurotic golden retriever. It should be known, however, that she hates pizza and ice cream, almost as much as writing her bio in the third person.
