Interception

Ty

My position as cornerback for the Wolves means everything to me.

Coming off our Super Bowl win, it’s time to double down for another championship season, which means I need to be on my A-game.

A sidelining injury is the last thing I expected or need.

I’m sent to the best sports clinic in town, and another thing I didn’t expect?

My gorgeous physical therapist.

She’s everything I want, but can I convince her I can be everything she needs?

Lyric

I’ve made a career of helping people get back on their feet, but a bad breakup over a year ago has made it hard for me to do the same.

So, I throw myself into my work, landing a position at one of the top sports physical therapy clinics in LA.

The Wolves star cornerback is my very first patient.

He's even sexier in person than I ever thought—but I can’t fall for another famous athlete. That’s how I got hurt last time.

I’m here to heal him and that’s all…

No one can heal me, least of all him.

INTERCEPTION: Hard Chargers 2 is part of the HARD CHARGERS series. No cheating, no cliffhangers, guaranteed HEA.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Lyric has worked hard for her career that she has and after having her heart broken was looking for a new start and where better than where her sister and nephew are, she is ready to get on with her life and her new position as a physio therapist within an well known clinic, what she wasn’t ready for was Tyler Kevers well known and incredibly sexy Los Angeles Wolves player to be her first patient. The one thing that she promised herself was not to fall for another football player but the time they spend together she can’t help but lose her heart but can she really trust him with her heart or is he about to smash her heart to pieces yet again?

Tyler Kevers didn’t want or need an injury he was pumped and ready for the new season that is until his intercept goes horribly wrong and he is looking at a long road to recovery, so the last thing he was expecting when arriving for his physio therapy appointment was to be palmed off on the newbie at the practice but after agreeing to give her a chance he realises she was the best choice for him in more ways than one. He is slowly falling for the woman helping him back to health and just when he thinks he has her heart his ex-arrives has he lost the chance of happiness because of a vindictive ex?

Super quick read that I wasn’t putting down until I was done, yet again Mazzy has written an excellent read with heat, passion and sport. Highly recommend this author and all her books. 4.2* read.

I enjoyed this book, Mazzy King did a great job on it, the plot and characters were strong, the story was written well. Lyric and Ty had an instant attraction. From the moment they laid eyes on each other, they were both goners.
Ty and Lyric had off the charts chemistry, it was sexy and sweet. They were good together.
This was a good story. Thank you, Mazzy King. Great work :)

Quick read that will leave you with a smile on your face. Loved Ty and Lyric. Great chemistry between them from the first day they met when she was tasked to be his PT. There is a little OW drama but they were able to get past that. Great read.

He will always catch her, take care of her and tuck her in....he loves her more than anything

I loved this book as once again Mazzy King has packed a lot of fun, emotion and heat into a short story.
Tyler Kevers is a cornerback with the Los Angeles Wolves football team. Last season they went all the way and won the Superbowl. So this year the pressure is on and Ty is bringing it to practice at the beginning of the season. The man is on fire on the field with his moves. When he pops up to get an interception he ends up landing wrong with the result of a partially torn ACL. He does not want to be out for the season so he decides to go the route of physical therapy and treatment before deciding on surgery.
Lyric Randone is a Physical Therapist who has just relocated from Cincinnati to LA to work at Masters Sports Clinic, the premier physical therapy clinic in the city. She needed to escape a failed relationship that had ended badly, with one of the Cincinnati Bengal players, and since her sister and nephew live in LA she thought ti would be a good place.
Three days after Ty's injury finds him going to the Masters Sports Clinic. He had expected to be treated by Bob Masters who he has worked with before so is surprised when Bob introduces him to Lyric to treat him. After a bit of an initial bad introduction things quickly get better between them. Actually so much better that after a month Ty is able to stand on both legs and he is cleared by Lyric to play in the first game of the season, which was his goal. Along the way they have become friendly and flirty when they are working in the clinic after hours. So much so that on this last night things take a very hot and sexy turn quickly. After they clean up and Lyric locks up Ty invites her back to his place for dinner and the night. For Lyric her heart is saying "yes, yes, yes already!!!" but she is still hesitant. Before she can say no though she is agreeing to it and wow what a night they have, over and over again. It seems that Ty likes to give more than he likes to take and he is very, very giving to Lyric. But there is a manipulative ex trying to get back with Ty, or at least get some of his money, who is about to throw a huge wrench into the middle of this lovey-dovey pair. Will Ty and Lyric find their HEA..............a house in the burbs with a white picket fence, a couple kids, two dogs and a cat to lord it over everyone.

This is a very charming and delightful book. The story-line is fast paced, fun, flirty, entertaining, has a bit of drama, family, cheekiness and of course a whole lot of hot and sizzling sexy times. Ty is a real charmer who is just looking for the one woman he can spoil over and over, but who is not interested in his status or his money. Lyric has a trust issue after her last relationship but down deep her heart knows she can trust Ty and he will not hurt her. She just needs to remember that when the time comes. There is a very happy and satisfying Epilogue. A recommend read.

Another fast, fun and steamy read From Mazzy King, this time a sports romance. Tyler and Lyric’s story is the second in the series.

Tyler seriously injures his knee in a practice football game, but he doesn't want to have surgery and take the time off for recovery so he decides to try physio to see if he can get back on the field. His usual physio can’t see him and so he is referred to a new physio Lyric. She is new in town she just wants to do her job without any drama. She’s had her heart broken by an athlete so her walls are pretty high. Tyler just wants to find a girl he can spoil and love, who isn’t after his money or his status. He’s still trying to shake his gold digging ex, though he knows Lyric is the one for him from the minute he sees her, but he has to wait till his knee is healed before he can ask her out. Will Lyric be able to open her heart to another athlete?

Loved this insta love story, low on angst but full of heart. Can’t wait to read the next one!

Football players, Yes Please!! Ty is cocky, playful, a beast on the field, and is surprisingly down to earth. An injury during practice threatens to derail his season and shaken his center. Lyric is his physical therapist, having just moved to town after having her heart broken by player on the field and off. She's matter of fact, doesn't pull her punches, doesn't lie to her patients. Just exactly what Ty needs to get back in shape before the first game of the season. Over the course of working together, these two find themselves opening up, falling in love. I loved seeing Ty being vulnerable to someone, sharing his fears and hopes for the future. I loved seeing Lyric relax and bloom, finally starting to trust again. A bit of drama, but over in a heartbeat. Sweet, sexy, lighthearted fun. I can't wait to read the next in this series! Happy Reading!

Another fast fun read in this fun series where each book takes about thirty minutes to read They are inst love so don't expect in depth characters but you know what they are perfect for when you don't have a lot of time or when you don't want to have to concentrate

Ty plays football on the Wolves. After the Super Bowl win he decides to give it all. Work harder so they can continue winning. He ends up getting put on the sideline from an injury. He gets sent to the best sports clinic in town. He ends up with the most beautiful physical therapist. Lyric has made a great career of helping people get back on their feet. She throws herself into her work and works at the top sports clinic. She had a really bad breakup a year before Ty gets to the clinic. When he meets Lyric she just knows that she just can't date another sports player. Will Ty be able to change Lyric's mind? A short sweet sports romance.

Ty is a football player. He is cocky, confident, funny, single, and not looking. Ty is injuried during practice and has to rehab. Rehab means Physical Therapy where he meets Lyric. Lyric is single, new to the city, spunky, funny and good at her job. Ty needs extensive rehab and during this time these two get to know each other and their attraction is a slowburning love that continues to grow. Of course, we need a little conflict, misunderstood feelings and some apologizing to get back on track. Ty and Lyric are two people who are likable, down-to-earth and have you wanted them to make this happen. This is a great little read that will leave you asking for more, please.

This is book two in the Hard Chargers series. Tyler Keevers injured his ACL during practice and opts for physical therapy instead of surgery. His regulat PT is busy and books him in with the new girl, Lyric. Lyric has just moved to town for a fresh start which includes not getting involved with an athlete romantically again. As Lyric wittle away at Ty's injury to heal him, Ty equal works on opening Lyric mind to giving him a chance at love. A shirt but action packed story sure to get your blood pumping and leave you smiling with another HEA. Enjoy!

This book was way more than I expected and I really enjoy Mazzy King books! Ty and Lyric have a slow burning relationship that gets slightly derailed by a misunderstanding. Often romances are taken down by the age-old misunderstanding and that is one of my least favorite story components. HOWEVER, this one was dealt with quickly so it served its purpose, added depth and interest but didn’t leave you feeling crappy and hanging for an extended period of time! Whew! This was a happily ever after that scored many extra field goals in my book!

Tyler was hurt during football practice one day and needed physical therapy. His regular therapist was booked solid, so he was referred to Lyric. When he met her it was insta-love. He could not wait for his therapy to be over for two reasons. One to ask Lyric on a date and second to get back to playing football. Only thing Lyric had her heart broke once by an athlete, and she had told herself no more dating athletes. Would Tyler have a chance with Lyric? A short sweet sports romance.

Touchdown!

I really enjoyed reading this book. There’s a partial reality to it all.
The chemistry and the passion of both Lyric and Ty really makes this book very receivable, like an interception of attraction and a touchdown of live.

Okay that’s a little corny, but you’ll understand when you read it for yourself.

Any opinions expressed within this review are solely and uniquely made by me and I am happily leaving this review.

Fun short sports romance, this is Ty and Lyric storyline. Ty recently injured on the practice field, while Lyric is his physical therapist getting him ready for the big game. Both have an instant attraction, yet they both have been burned before. Like that they each take time to get to know one another with mutual respect. Will they be able to trust or will they let their pasts dictate a possible future together.

He decides to go to physical therapy instead of surgery. He meets his physical therapist, Lyric. She is new to the practice and city. They spend lots of time together and get to know one another. Will they take to the next step after his therapy is finished?

Interception is a great short sports romance that has everything you could want. Cocky Player, check. Hot Romance, check. Misunderstanding, check. Over the top apology, check.

Ty is a cornerback who was hurt during practice, Lyric is his PT who is to help him back to the game. Tension grows between them each time they touch. But with Lyric's past can she trust another player?

This is a great story to get you in the mood for football.

Cute and simple romance
Very short romance between an injured athlete who wants to quickly come back to competition, and his physiotherapist who has already suffered from an old relationship with an athlete. The story is tender, simple, hot, but quite predictable.

A cute OTT sports romance about Lyric and Ty. He's suffered an injury at practice and she's the new PT that's going to treat him.
Fast-paced, steamy at more than the 50 mark if I remember correctly with some snafu but a guaranteed HEA.

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Ty and Lyric are just great. I am not surprised that Lyric fell in love with Ty. He's a good man even after she left him and did not let him explain. He went and proved himself to Lyric and her family that he really loved her and that he will always catch her.

That scene with his family at the epilogue is touching. Loved it.

I really enjoyed Ty and Lyric's story. It's a short quick read that is fast paced and sweet. Ty is a football player injured, his regular PT is not available so it gets a better one. One he cannot resist, Lyric. The attraction is instant but he is a patient and she has already had her heartbroken. Soon the fires ignite and the passion burns hot. I enjoyed this story and love the characters!

Lyric a physical therapist is going to help Ty get back on the field. They are attracted to each other but does nothing until his rehab ends. She has been hurt by an athlete before and is cautious. She goes all in with Ty only to be hurt again. He must now prove to her that she is not a mistake and he is not a player.

Ty is hurt on the field at practice and goes to physical therapy where he meets Lyric. They get close during his recovery and they fall for each other, however, when a little drama ensues, she bails. I enjoyed how he wins her back and a wonderful ending. Great job on this story in time for football season!!

I love sport romances!
The story between Tyler and Lyric was fantastic. Their first kiss was so sweet and passionate. She helps him recover after an ACL injury and he immediately falls in love with her.
This was a nice read.

Lyric can only deny her feelings for Tyler for so long. I loved that Tyler didn't give up and worked to prove to Lyric that he wasn't the same as her past. It's sweet with some heat and lots of cute overload.

Once again Mazzy doesn't disappoint me. I absolutely loved Ty and Lyric's story and couldn't have asked for a better outcome for either of them! I'm not a huge sports romance person, but I adore this series and these football players. I'm looking forward to more in this series!
