Love Spicetown

The characters are wonderful. I would like a mayor like Cora Mae in my town. I haven’t read these in order but it doesn’t matter. Each plot is self contained.

All Spicetown series of cozy mysteries

I enjoy all of the Spicetown mysteries as they are easy to read and the delightful characters are engaging. It is good to be able to read a book that comforts your mind that there is a town where most of its residents get along especially the mayor with almost every citizen. I recently lost my husband and this writer connects to losing a spouse and the painful aftermath.

Absorbing

This is the best book in the series so far. I wanted to read it in one sitting but did it in three . Everything from the election through murder and loss and towards the neat ending kept me glued to my seat. It is always soothing to realize that amidst all the turmoil people go through, friends are there to care and help. This is what Spice town conveys all the time. If only there is such a place wouldn't the world be a better place.

So good

I love the spice town mystery books. I think I know who done it. But no I'm wrong. Just so well done. Will Conrad and Cora become a item? I feel like I'm right there with them trying to figure who's the bad guy or woman is. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for the next one.

Great read

Still enjoying this series! The main characters are a great bunch of people who care about their town and each other. Something we all need in our lives.

Another enjoyable read in the series, though it seemed to me this one was much slower paced than the last book. The question of who killed Hobart seems to be in limbo through most of the story, along with the question of who will be the next town counsellor. I can't imagine an election being held with only one viable candidate but Spiceville goes ahead with it.

Because the crime was discovered in the Paxton area, a detective from that city is investigating hit-and-miss with not enough time to do
