The Way She Blooms

Rate this book
The Way She Blooms is the long-awaited debut poetry collection of grace gegenheimer. The book is divided into 4 tiny words of wisdom, that feeling of solace, stories and fairytales & the way she blooms. the first chapter features poems that describe the ache, the hope, and the overcoming that all of us experience as we grow. chapter two is for feeling the comfort that can only be found in nature and from those you love. the third chapter is pretty self-explanatory – stories from grace's own imagination, legends she has been inspired by, and her take on books she has read and fallen in love with. the final chapter and the namesake of the collection – the way she blooms – is a journey through the pain of growing, the realization of your own strength, and the courage to be exactly who you are.

I open my heart to the skies
and it pours like a monsoon

But I try opening it to others
and it’s nothing but that
same desert drought.

Author has poured out her heart that is filled with mixed emotions. It’s a collection of curated quotes, poems, and indelible messages that will help you heal and grow on a daily basis. Her poetry reminds you who you are and her words help you find out why you’re here.

Her idioms speak directly to your soul and remind you that you are not alone in experiencing these mixed emotions. In fact, reading these poems made me understand that my feelings are truly a pathway to healing.

I am so inspired by author grace gegenheimer’s poetry, even the sketches are so beautiful and relatable. I truly recommend her book to all the readers.
