Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. Once again, Liv Constantine hits it out of the park. This is a creepy book, on so many levels. The characters are well done and the situation is downright scary. Grabbed me early on and I would have finished quicker if Real Life didn't get in the way!

This book got me through Election Night 2020, so that is how entertaining it is. I was hooked from the first page and read 75% of it in one sitting. Liv Constantine has mastered the fun, twisty thriller that I love to read

I loved this. I really enjoy the way Liv Constantine. It’s thrilling and intriguing from cover to cover
I so look forward to Liv Constantine’s books. The are consistently edgy and fast-paced. It’s a fascinating glance into a truly evil mind and I can’t get enough. The only drawback for me was that this is very similar to an earlier book by them, so the plot was completely fresh as it was with their last book. Still an excellent read overall.

Liv Constantine’s latest psychological thriller The Stranger in the Mirror is an impressive addition to their catalog of work...this story is absolutely crazy, it’s soapy, tense, and twisted beyond belief. And I just ate up every bit of it. I love my twisted books, and the Constantine sisters are so good at crafting an ending that you’d never see coming from a mile away.

Another hit for the sisters who write under the pseudonym Liv Constantine! One of the best things about books from this duo, is the fact that characters do actually feel like they’re different! Not all books, allow you to feel the difference in characters, and I’m not sure if it’s because it’s two are actually doing the writing, but this one definitely feels like you are reading different characters! This is my 3rd book by the Constantine sisters... I love their books and the way they write together. This book was a twisty back and forth thriller written in a few perspectives... which in general is my favorite format. This is one that I basically figured out the twist.... which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I did really enjoy it and hoped that it ended the way it did. I'm a big fan of Liv Constantine, and this was another well-plotted suspense novel.
The things I liked:
-Well written, well plotted
-Excellent dialogue and very "real" character interactions
-Original plot-line that drew me in immediately
What made me grit my teeth:
-The plot fit together *too well*, in a way that felt like it was done for the author's convenience
-I had a hard time connecting to the main character, largely because instead of giving us a vibe of how she was feeling, a lot of "telling" ...more

This book starts with a mystery on the first page: Who is Addison? Then, twists and turns are continually being added to the story while you are gasping in delight and wondering just where this will all end. Well, it ends in a neat little package; perhaps too neat. But, it was certainly an enjoyable journey getting to the end. This is another win for Liv Constantine!

I'm not upset at all that I read it but it wasn't my favorite book of these authors.
This book, as per usual with these authors, had me completely absorbed in the story. That being said, while I rushed to get through it, this book I was onto the twist. I won't get into the storyline as I don't want to ruin it for the others. But the story does leave you wondering if this has ever happened to someone as it is pretty believable. Liv Constantine is quickly rising to the top of my list for the best psychological thrillers! This book is a home run on so many levels. Characters are well developed, as is the story line, and will keep you guessing the whole way through. Diving into the "darker and more controversial side" of hypnosis and false memories, this is a must for fans that love a mystery to get lost in. Another good page turner by the Constantine sisters that had me up late into the night! I’ve loved all of their books and this one did not disappoint with its creepy story and plot twists.
This would be a great beach read, perfect for a one sitting binge!

Addison does not remember her life for the past 2 years, but she moves forward and is going to get married. When her old life catches up with her, you don't stop guessing until the end what's going on. I did get confused a couple of time about who is who but it all comes together and the ending is great.

I really enjoyed this fast paced novel. I found it to be really well plotted and thoughtful. I was surprised by a handful of twists and turns. This author is hitting it out of the park and I am stoked for what she puts out next. This book is particularly nice in front of a cozy fire with a big cup of tea.
This book had me on the edge of my seat. I stayed up reading last night until I dropped my kindle on my head because I fell asleep. Lol! Thank you @netgalley , @harperbooks and @livconstantine2 for the advanced readers copy of this book. I highly recommend this book. It will be out July 6, 2021. Get your preorders in now!
I really enjoyed this novel and felt their was a lot of originality to the plot which is sometimes lacking with the amount of thrillers on the shelves. There were quite a few surprising plot elements that kept the story moving forward at a good clip. Worth a read!
