About the author

Jerry Bruce Jenkins is an American novelist and biographer. He is best known as the writer of the Left Behind series of books for Tim LaHaye and The Chosen novels to accompany his son Dallas's TV series. Jenkins has written more than 200 books, including mysteries, historical fiction, biblical fiction, cop thrillers, international spy thrillers, and children's adventures, as well as nonfiction. His works usually feature Christians as protagonists. In 2005, Jenkins and LaHaye ranked 9th in Amazon.com's 10th Anniversary list of Hall of Fame authors based on books sold at Amazon.com during its first 10 years. Jenkins now teaches writers to become authors here at his website. He and his wife Dianna have three sons and eight grandchildren.

I read the book >The Kids< from the series (Left Behind) by the authors Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim Lahaye.The book is about 4 kids feeling alone and wanting some sort of freedom.The kids don't really like religion and once their parents try and become christian, they tend to want to make their parents happy.
In each chapter focuses on just one of the kids. But towards the end they start to tie together.One of the kids wants to have his freedom and so he steals his dad’s credit card and a butt load of cash and buys a plane ticket to London.Later on his plane ride people start disappearing out of thin air. Later it’s all over the news and all over the world.One of the other chapters a girl lives in a trailer park and they have parties/dances on Fridays and one weekend her parents become christian and she doesn’t like it.
I recommend this book if you like regretful,glum,and upright and mysterious books you should read >The Kids< I like how the book is very organized and how the authors wrote each kids’ stories in different chapters and how they all come together in the end.The book was very predictable and well written.If you like easy books to read then I recommend this book for you.I made some connections such as, the kids start to feel alone and ignored,I am the oldest child in my family and a lot of times I feel alone and ignored.

This book was amazing finding out what buck had seen at the meeting at the end of the book was just shocking. i wanted to read more of the book but i was finished with it. it is a great example of what will happen when the lord comes. Left Behind: The Kids Collection 4

not so bad i guess.... pretty sad..don't remember anything about it ....but it deals wiht kids and about their fmailies..and they are left alone...with nobody to help thyem... i know..spooky..so read it !

Left Behind can get kind of tense and scary, but it's the truth about the end times. For younger children a lot of discusion would come out of it.
