What a great read! My intention was to skim through the book in order to determine its suitability as a read-aloud for my children (ages 8, 5, 3, and 1), but once I got started, I couldn't stop reading. I can't wait to share this one with my kids. We had just read the section on Mother Cabrini in the book, Once Upon a Time Saints, when I found this one in the Kindle store. Thank you, Mrs. Stromberg, for a well-written and engaging book. The activities at the end are icing on this home schooler's cake!

I love Mother Cabrini, but I also think that it is awesome that this book features a girl who wants to become a nun and at the end of the story ends up becoming a postulant. It was really great to read how excited the girl was to start religious life in Mother Cabrini's order.
