The tailoring tips in the book are great. Although the 'promise' of renewing old styles is not accurate. The introduction was a lot of preaching to the choir about love of materials and sewing. Additionally the introduction covers a fair amount about flattering fits however the clothes modeled are anything but! In fact they are some of the most heinous I've ever seen.
