Breaking news: Hollywood’s biggest heartthrob, Ryan Prince, was caught vacationing in his hometown, but who’s the mystery girl?

No, I hadn’t heard that Ryan Prince was staying at the very resort I had just started working at.

If I had, maybe I would have called in sick.

On second thought, maybe I wouldn’t have, because I really needed that paycheck. Being a single mother and

The trouble with choosing someone first was, so often, they didn’t choose you back, and it felt like flames against your skin when you realized your heart belonged to them regardless.

GAHHH. This is my second book by Ashley Munoz, a new to me author who I discovered on a KU browsing whim, and I'm wholly convinced that she's now on my beloved author list. She knows just the right amount of angst and emotion to blend with her atmospheric settings to create a journey that brings both comfort and satisfaction

A slow burn second chance romance read, with a single mother of two children and a famous actor.

Bexley and Ryan reunited after 10 years and none of them had stopped loving each other.
Their story was very well written and developed, it was full of emotions, the children were adorable and Ryan’s parents were amazing!

Their journey had plenty of angst and drama, back and forth, misconceptions, miscommunications, insecurities and both of them had mixed feelings and so many issues to deal

Wowza! Ashley killed it with this book! The angst had me wanting to smack both Bex and Ryan, they just couldn't get out of their own way! I was crying, laughing, swooning and yelling. My family now thinks I'm insane 😂 This second chance romance had me all up in the feels. There was filthy hotness, family connection and sweet romance. Honestly, this book has it all and was a great book to start the year with. Ashley has set the bar high here! I am offically obsessed with Bex and Ryan's story and ...more

‘I was on the verge of a total meltdown. This wasn’t how I’d pictured my life when I turned thirty…’

Only Once by Ashley Munoz is a beautiful and emotional second chance romance which we read from cover to cover, in one sitting. It had so many elements which we love in our romance. A single parent with two gorgeous kiddies, hot movie star, and angst…a lot of ANGST! Only Once is one of those books that pulls at every heartstring you have. The angst and anticipation had my heart racing and chest tightening with every turn of the page. Bexley and Ryan’s story is tragic, but redemptive, heartbreaking and heart warming all at once. Ashley has this way of pulling you in and making you hurt right along with her characters before giving you even an ounce of relief. But you’re going to enjoy the ache. One of the best second chance romances I’ve ever read!

Ashley delivers yet another emotional and electrifying read!

Ryan and Bexley stole my heart, ripped it apart, then put it back together again. If Hollywood romance, Sports, and Second Chance are your thing, you have all three in this story. Sexy, emotional, and all the angst.

I couldn't get enough of the back and forth between Bexley and Ryan.

Only Once was unputdownable and a read you don't want to miss.

My goodness, Munoz knows exactly where to hit so I FEEL it the whole way. If you had a second chance with your first love, would you take it?
Bexley never moved on, not really. Ryan never opened up again, not truly. These two just existed, and didn’t even realize that was all they were doing.

This book is absolutely captivating and a real page turner and is a real second chance romance book. I've read books by this author before and I really like her style of writing. The love story of Ryan and Bexley is a real roller coaster ride and they have to suffer a lot of ups and downs before they get where they were always meant to be.

Bexley is a beautiful woman who is very relatable and a really nice person, she's a single parent and has had things pretty tough. When she sees Ryan after all

ARC provided in exchange for honest review ~

Only Once is the type of book that you would not expect for it to bring so many emotions inside of you. This entire book is kinda bittersweet filled with the perfect amount of angst, heartache, and love. It seriously caught my fullest attention from the beginning till the end that I was able to finish the entire thing in just one sitting.

Basically, the entire story is about a single mother named Bexley who works in a resort to support herself

Loved this second chance romance. I read it in one sitting and I was pulled in from page one. The romance of Ryan and Bexley was wonderful. Ashley has created characters that will pull at your heart strings and have you rooting for them to get the HEA that they deserved so many years ago. The chemistry between them never left. It was just as explosive as it was in their past. There will be some bumps in the road to happiness that threaten to derail the progress that they made in their rekindled ...more

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. The roller-coaster of emotions the characters, Bexley and Ryan suffered at their own hands, had me turning pages until the end. Their story of past and present, hurt, love, forgiveness and possibilities was everything I need in a romance. I love the main characters and the side characters as well.

I definitely recommend this amazing story of second chances. Happy reading.

What a raw and gripping story! My emotions are still all over the place! Only Once was one of the best second chance romances that I have ever read!! Bexley was fantastic and so relatable. I could see myself making the same choices that she did, minus having kids. She was just such a good, down-to-earth character. She totally deserved to be somebody's first choice! Ryan took me a while to warm up to after he acted like an idiot, but that's something a lot of guys do. Overall I did like him, espe ...more

This is my first read from this author and man, where have I been? This book has it all, sweet, angst, redemption, hurt, and most of all love! The characters (Bex and Ryan) are flawed and imperfect and perfect for each other!

After seeing each other for the first time in ten years, their reactions could not be more different. Bex wants to hide and Ryan is right up in Bex's face. Bex is a single mom with two kids and is barely making it. Ryan is a multi millionaire movie star who has lot

This was my first book by Ashley Munoz and she completely blew me away with this angsty second chance romance.

Bexley captured my heart in the prologue and the more I read the more I felt connected to her and although for different reasons the insecurities that she has are very much like my own and so this character had a bit of my soul.

Bexley is a single mom doing everything she can to make sure her children have what they need. She was strong, and loved her kids fiercely but when it came to mat

5 star Review Only Once by Ashley Munoz

Ashley Munoz is a relatively new author to me. This was an entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me. This is Ryan and Bexley’s story and what a story it was. From the first chapter to the last I was riveted to the story that Ms.Munoz wove. Only Once is a second chance at love story and it ticked all the boxes for me.

I have been reading more and more single parent stories over the last couple of years and knowing that Bexley is a single mum struggling

Only Once is the very first book I’ve read by Ashley Munoz. As soon as I saw second chance romance I knew it was right up my alley. Ryan and Bexley gave me all the angsty feels, sometimes too angsty. The type that make you want to pull your hair out and scream at them. But it also gave me the warm fuzzies. Each had changed so much since they were in college together. Bexley is a single mom to the cutest kids.
These two had issues that needed to be worked through. But I was rooting for them every

This is my first book by Ashley Munoz and it will not be my last. The blurb hooked me and I'm so glad I took a chance on a new-to-me author. It's very well written and the story grabbed my attention immediately. I love second chance romance, I love angst, I love going on an emotional roller coaster and this story delivered! Second-chance (with an enemies-to-lovers feel) that came with lots of struggles and personal issues. Ryan and Bexley were interesting characters, along with a lovely cast of secondary support. At times I felt like there was too much repetition, but overall I didn't lose interest in this tale. It definitely tugged at my heartstrings and the addition of Bexley's two small children certainly gave my emotions a good work-out.

I would definitely give this new-to-me author another chance.

I was addicted to this book from page one. Honestly one of the best stories of second chance at love I've ever read.

Such an emotional story. Bex and Ryan's past was full of heartache, their separation wasn't in the best terms. Both regret the decisions the took in the past and after ten years of being apart they crossed paths again. Now Bex is a single mom finding a way to work and provide for her two kids. Ryan is a famous celebrity who is living a life that is not complete at all, he is missi

The first book I have read from this author, the blurb drew me in but it was the beautiful story, the love and the loss and the heartbreak that kept me reading.

This author gives us such beautiful connections, a second chance at love and a case of the wrong time, wrong place. This was a real love story and I loved every page. Bexley and Ryan were perfect and Ryan with Bexley's children just made my heart melt. I love a second chance romance, the angst and the will they, won't they just makes my

I literally wasn’t sure if I was going to survive the push and pull between Ryan and Bexley! I knew the angst for this book was going to be high. I was warned several time but dang it! I won’t even admit to how many times I was tempted to chuck my kindle across the room. I even had whole speeches made to give to both Bex and Ryan because the two of them needed to be sat down several times throughout this book and told about themselves!
Besides the angst this was also an amazing second chance lov

Wow !!! Where to start and what to say about this wonderful story, that will have you reeling.....
Ashley Munoz is a new author to me and after reading Only Once, I’m stunned that she hasn’t crossed my radar before now and I certainly need to rectify this by playing catch-up with her previous works.
This is Bexley and Ryan’s second chance at love and right from the first page you know you are reading a special romance, you know this book and it’s characters will stay with you long after the final

My heart is still trying to recover from this second chance stand alone novel.

Bexley and Ryan were college sweethearts but they had different expectations once they graduated from college. Ryan was focusing on getting his dream to become a football player and Bexley was focusing on getting married and starting a family. When an unexpected turn of events occurs, it separates them and they have to move on with their lives.

Ten years later they run into each other again. Ryan's dream to become a foo

Bexley and Ryan's second chance love story was so darn sweet and dramatic! It tugged at my heart strings, frustrated me to no end and made me swoon. I absolutely adored Bex's kids (usually I'm not a fan of baby talk or kids dialogue in romance novels) because they had such robust personalities and really helped elevate the story. With a decade lost between these two, their separation brought a lot of miscommunication, assumptions, heartbreak and grief. I felt like the author did a great job refl ...more
