Wowza! Ashley killed it with this book! The angst had me wanting to smack both Bex and Ryan, they just couldn't get out of their own way! I was crying, laughing, swooning and yelling. Only Once is one of those books that pulls at every heartstring you have. The angst and anticipation had my heart racing and chest tightening with every turn of the page. Bexley and Ryan’s story is tragic, but redemptive, heartbreaking and heart warming all at once. Ashley has this way of pulling you in and making you hurt right along with her characters before giving you even an ounce of relief. But you’re going to enjoy the ache. One of the best second chance romances I’ve ever read!

This book is absolutely captivating and a real page turner and is a real second chance romance book. I've read books by this author before and I really like her style of writing. Only Once is the very first book I’ve read by Ashley Munoz. As soon as I saw second chance romance I knew it was right up my alley. Ryan and Bexley gave me all the angsty feels, sometimes too angsty. This is my first book by Ashley Munoz and it will not be my last. The blurb hooked me and I'm so glad I took a chance on a new-to-me author. It's very well written and the story grabbed my attention immediately. I love second chance romance, I love angst, I love going on an emotional roller coaster and this story delivered! I have to say this is one of my favorite second chance romances. The characters were real, their story was heartbreaking then heartwarming. You definitely felt what they did.

At times I felt like there was too much repetition, but overall I didn't lose interest in this tale. I literally wasn’t sure if I was going to survive the push and pull between Ryan and Bexley! I knew the angst for this book was going to be high. I was warned several time but dang it! I won’t even admit to how many times I was tempted to chuck my kindle across the room.
