About the author

Diane Taylor had her first book, Shadow Demon published in 2004. Since then she's never looked back and has written 8 books so far. The ones currently up for sale at Firedrake's Weyr Publishing are: Wassail Woes, Merlion's Pleasure, Majestic Lion, Beltane Fire and Mystique Rogue.. the last of which is due out in September 08.

Her other hobbies include historical re-creation with the Society for Creative Anachronism *tm*, Playing Solaris Battletech at the local arcade with her friends, and reading the latest from Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, or Christine Feehan.

In November, she's usually deep in the throes of insanity with National Novel Writing Month.. NanoWrimo for short, making the attempt to write a 50K word novel in 30 days, while her room mate simply rolls her eyes.

She lives in Houston, TX. with two furry children and a wonderful Room Mate who doesn't mind the insanity.

This had to be the worst Time Travel book that I have ever read. I love historicals,especially those placed in China or Japan.This I expected a lot from since the author herself is a re-creator.I certainly hope no one will waste any time on this mish mash.First there is no history to speak of,the premise for the time travel is ridiculous,she travels back and forward apparently at will?? Unheard of in most of these type of stories. They bring in her PSYCHO parents for no apparent reason except another plot turn. Her friends travel forward and back also,in the body of animals,HUH?? A thoroughly disappointing read with no redeeming values the only good thing is that it wasn't too long. I just wish I could get the time back that I wasted on this mess!!!!!!!!
