Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
The third book in the Silver Moon Academy series was non-stop action, filled with action, danger, and drama. It truly was a quick and entertaining read.
The books in this series go by pretty quickly and they take place one after another so every book is very connected, mostly because the story takes place over a short time-frame. Which isn't bad for me, as long as the plot and characters can back it up then I don't have a problem with shorter time-frames. The story was crazy, the school is destroyed, Kova and her group is being hunted. There is still the mystery of who she is, what happened in the past, and why is this mysterious group after them. Things happened but only a little bit of the mystery has been uncovered, so I have a lot of questions about what's going on and I can't wait for those answers.
Because of the time-frame, the characters are pretty much solid, Kova is still a snarky mess but who can blame her. Avery is very much the good girl but she is starting to get a take-charge attitude in certain situations while Nikkita is angry. As for the guys they have changed from book one, Lightening is the caring one, Link is unpredictable and Nox is a weird combination of a sweet soul and a ripper (if you watch The Vampire Diaries then you know...). As for two characters who I am dying to know more about, Dean is mysterious, there isn't really any information on him and he is a key player. What is his backstory? What is he? How does he tie into what's happening with Kova? I don't have the answers but for some reason I absolutely trust him and I hope I don't regret it. Finally, there is Kova's wolf, the wolf has an attitude and seems to know more about Kova than she is letting on but why? What is up with the wolf? I really can't wait for the answer to that question.
I did have a couple of issues with this book. One, some of the plot didn't make sense, something was said and then later it was like it never happened (honestly can't give an example because my memory is bad but I remember thinking it out loud). The other thing that happened was that I thought Kova had grown a little bit from the first book to the second but in this book, she seemed to backslide a little. She isn't reacting in dangerous situations and she has gone back to judging people's actions, to name a couple of things. Other than that everything was great and it didn't bother me too much but it is the reason the story didn't get a five-star rating.
Silver Moon Academy Three was a good read, I enjoyed the story and the characters. A lot of things happened in this book, a mysterious faction on the loose, on the run from crazy supernaturals and humans alike, steamy romance, a mystery that keeps getting deeper, and a plot twist that I didn't see coming. I have no idea how many books are planned in the series but I can't wait for some answers. The story ended on a mouth-dropping cliffhanger, most because I thought that there was no way Storm (the author) was gonna do what she did. Can't wait to see what Kova is gonna do when she gets out of this situation, that is if she gets out of it.
A lot of action in this book but we still don't know much about Kova... (--_--) I went rapidly through some passages. The text might be skimmed a bit and there are lot of typos in the first half...Did someone edit this book at all? Kova became more and more obsessed with Nikita. In every chapter we read the same inner monologue about how Nikita is a bitch, how Kova hates her but in fact she doesn't hate her totally...blablabla... Just stop! We understood, it's ok. (#><) Some elements in the plot didn't make sense. (!!!spoiler!!!) For exemple, they said that Kova might be Avery's sister but there isn't any serious conversation about it and after it felt like they forgot about it. At some point Kova was able to do magic (cure, defense, attack) but some other time it's like she was just a defensless weak girl (•ิ_•)? Kova met a new guy in the second book but now what about him? Even if I like the plot twist, personnaly I don't like when authors kill one of the main character, too heartbreaking for me.
Loving the family dynamics in this book. Alex and Dean are the unofficial parents, Dean especially taking on the role of protective father figure, as well as not being able to stop himself from cracking the odd dad joke. Nikita, Lightning, Nox and Link were already a family, but Avery and Kova are both cementing their bonds within the group, and I love to see it. Nikita’s got sass to boot and unexpectedly taken the spot as favourite, she keeps her guard up but she’s not afraid to be vulnerable. The hellhound, griffin and high-tech combat suits were great visuals, and if there wasn’t any action happening then you can bet the steam took the spotlight. Really need to get my hands on the fourth to find out what happens, that cliffhanger was 🤯
Best book of the series so far! Silvermoon Academy has been compromised and now the students need to follow protocol and get to their safe houses. For Kova and her friends, that means Dean's house in the middle of nowhere. But with Link on the brink of death, and people chasing them, it takes a toll on her and those around her. Tensions are high and the stakes are even higher, but Kova has to keep it together and manage to keep herself and her friends away from those trying to kill them. This book was by far the most gripping in the series. The twists and tension make it impossible to put down. And the romance between Kova and the brothers isn't too bad either. You will not be disappointed when reading.
Okay so can we not make characters so dang amazing and then break my heart? I have grown very attached to these fictional characters and I don’t know if my heart will be able to wait for the next book! I can not wait to see where you take us next in the next book of this amazing story.
Holy cow storm song you are evil to leave us Hanging like that at the end. . The series keeps getting better and better . I literally could not put this book down .I can’t wait till the next book comes out!!!!!!
Kova knows how to jeep things interesting in this one. I liked seeing how things evolved in this book and how she and the guys grew together. There were some secrets revealed and I can't wait to see what happens next.
So far this is definitely the best book in the series. We find out answers to so many questions and I felt like I was able to connect more with the characters!
I like this book it had lots of action. I don’t know who the hooded people are. It was slow in some spots but picked up. This is one of my favorite authors. The end is crazy. I definitely recommend this book.
Heart break and changed relationships, hope, there is hope for the characters.... I want to keep reading for the Hope and destruction yet to come.... can’t wait for book 4
Silver Moon Academy #3 had its moments, but Kova constantly zoning out was seriously testing my patience. It pulled me out of the story more than once. Still, I’m curious enough to see where things go next. The titles are wrong its literally been days.
I don't know how much more these kids can take.Everything seems to be happening at once.I don't know if they will all survive.Gotta read the next book.
Wow! Took me a whole night to read book 1,2 and 3 and I can not wait for book 4. These are brilliant books that you can get lost in them and you can just read non stop.
