Of all the Bellandi men, Lorenzo Vescovi should have been my safety. The one who would understand right from wrong.
But there’s a demon inside him, a cold-blooded killing machine begging to be freed from what remains of his humanity.
I tempt him. I tease him, just by being me.
And when war erupts all around us, I have to hope I’m strong enough to withstand the flames of

Sadie and Enzo!

What can I say

I love her sass and his alpha-ness .

Enzo has been put in charge of Sadie's safety and neither of them expected eachother. As soon as his eyes landed on her, he wanted her and Sadie knew she was in trouble. These two honestly are my ride and die couple!.

Enzo cages a beast and doesn't let the chains slip.. but where Sadie is concerned, let's just say they get loosened. Sadie hides behind her chaotic booty but she never realised Enzo would notice her so closely that she

Adelaide Forrest is quickly becoming one of my most favourite authors, and she hit it out of the park again with her newest addition to her Bellandi Crime Syndicate series, Shielded Wrongs.

Like the other three books (#1 - Bloodied Hands, #2 - Forgivable Sins, #3 - Grieved Loss), you are thrown into the world of the alpha anti-hero and their obsessive desire for their love interest. Bellandi men do not simply court their women - they claim. They do not do anything in half measure and this book i

We all know from the previous books Sadie is a BADA$$. She is a tough cookie that takes no crap. She can put a grown man on his butt in 2 sec flat. She is the best friend anyone would want. Enzo is so dark and shows no emotions, but can he, as the head of security for the Bellandi Syndicate. His past is always right there to haunt him so he keeps up a guard. Then these two are thrown at each other with the war around them and the first time he meets her he knew he was in trouble. She is a spitfi ...more

Ms. Forrest (IMO at least) has pulled off a wonder of literary romance with 'Shielded Wrongs'.

1) Normally I (personally) am not a big fan of tough kick b*tt uber independent heroines. Which Sadie most definitely IS. However I found I greatly admired, liked & empathized with her. (Color me SHOCKED).
2) I adore over the top uber jealous possessive Alpha male anti-Heroes. Which Enzo IS.
3) I do not care for an OTT Uber JP Alpha being 'gentled' into a character 180 degrees from where he started. That

Trying to think of something that will convince you to read Shielded Wrongs.

I am terrible at writing reviews, but don't hold that against the book. Shielded Wrongs has stuck with me since I read it a couple of weeks ago now. I have read a bunch of books since then but Enzo and Sadie stand out clear as day still. I never would have believed that Ryker from Grieved Loss would be supplanted in my heart but I'm afraid it's true. I have added this one to my "swoony heroes" shelf.

I won't say this book

First, if you haven't read the other 3 Bellandi series books, DO IT! You don't "have to" have read them to enjoy this book, but trust me, you want to. Ms. Forrest has woven a rare treat with the Bellandi world, and I am so very excited to see where it goes from here. Enzo is as alpha as they come, yet he constantly tries to meet Sadie at her comfort level; he is a hard man, but man with morals and he isn't the monster he sees himself as. I didn't really "click" with Sadie, but that's on me. She ...more

I was so enamored with this book I couldn’t put it down. Adelaide did not disappoint with the ongoing saga of the Bellandi family. Sadie, strong, independent Filipino woman meets alpha Italian male. Of course all hell breaks loose. Enzo can see all of Sadie which she tries to hide from the world. With a war raging all around them, will Sadie realize she can love wholeheartedly or will she keep Enzo at arms length?
Enzo is a typical alpha, he wants Sadie to be her wild self but wants to protect he

I have read all of the prior 4 installments in the Bellandi series and have gushed over all of the alphas in them (especially Ryker in Grieved Loss book 2) However, this is the first time I gushed over the heroine! Sadie is awesome! Don't get me wrong Enzo is definitely a yummy hot alpha mafioso but Sadie is the first lady of the series that is a true badass! She can go toe to toe with many men physically and certainly gives Enzo a run for his money emotionally. I love that she's no simpering do ...more

You know what I love about blogging?! I get to meet so many new to me authors, and I'm super glad that I've finally made Adelaide Forrest's acquaintance, because I now know I was missing out. I had the previous 3 books so I read them in order, and seriously, I actually spent a whole weekend immersed in her world to the point that I had a hard time even going to sleep as I didn't want to put any of them down. Enzo (our alpha antihero) keeps his dangerous guy locked up, that is until he is tasked ...more

Thsi is the 4th book in the series and it can be read as a stanalone but its better to read the series in order because it helps in understanding the events better.

This book is about Saddie, who is the best friend of Ivory and Enzo, who is a bellandi man. Saddie owns a gym and she gives women free self defence classes, she appears to be very strong from the outside but inside she is very vulnerable, she was diagnosd with ADHD in her childhood and her family is not aware that she also ha

Enzo and Sadie are pure fire. Both strong individuals who know what they want from life and aren't afraid to fight for it.
It was so very interesting to read how these two battled against each other as Enzo decided Sadie was his woman and she was his to protect and love for the rest of their lives.
These two definitely have their own mental health issues that they had to deal with themselves and had to learn about how to live with each other's issues. So great to have a story where we see that peo

I love this author. LOVE HER. She writes the best heros who you want for your own and heroines who you want to hang out and chat with =) This is also one of the few books I've read with an asian character and I think anyone of color can appreciate how she incorporated the food and the family culture of a filipino family!

I have been looking forward to Sadie's story since her character always stood out to me in the other bellandi books, and I was not disappointed! She has dents and flaws that Enzo

This book gave me all the feels!

I have been waiting for Shielded Wrongs to come out and have been on pins and needles because I could not wait to read Enzo and Sadie's story. I am so happy that I was able to read it this book lived up to all of my expectations!

Both Sadie and Enzo were SO wounded yet SO strong. I enjoyed going through all of the emotions while reading their story. Honestly I had a horrible hang over when I finished the book and felt emotionally wrung out but in a good way. There

Enzo and Sadie are amazing ! Enzo is so possessive and jealous which l love and Sadie is a free spirit who has an adventurous but wreckless streak . They both deal with mental health issues and I have to say I have read many books with PTSD, but this author did an amazing job on Sadie’s OCD and anxiety as well . I could almost feel what the character was feeling . Sadie needed the discipline and protection that Enzo provided but he also allowed her to be herself . The Bellandi men are the best b ...more

Another amazing Bellandi men story. This book like the rest in the series kept me locked in from start to finish. Sadie and Enzo were explosive together but the sweet moments where Enzo let Sadie know he saw everything about her were some of my favorite of the whole series. Also we got a sneak peak into the next book which I cannot wait to see more Scar! If anyone deserves love it’s that poor man. Another 5/5 book by Adelaide Forrest!

Having read the other books in this series I thought I had a pretty good idea how this book would flow,Wow was I wrong,Enzo and Sadie were two people with serious issues who you would not think belonged together but with the excellent way this story was written they clicked and worked so well together, throw in a psycho dog and plenty of hot sex scenes I would highly recommend the latest book in this series

I love this series, it just keeps getting better and better. Sadie is a take no prisoners type of woman who is rough around the edges and Enzo comes along and softens them all for her. I love the fact that they both have their own issues to deal with and they arent perfect. Great story as usual from someone who is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. I'm looking forward to Scars story!

It's hard to believe, but this series keeps getting better. Although it can be read as a standalone, reading the prior books enhances the experience due to an overarching plot and characters from previous books.

Sadie has to be one of the most baddest biotches out there in terms of physical skill, spirit and determined mindset, but she needs all of those things to combat her OCD and feelings of inferiority inadvertently given to her by her father's perceived treatment of her. When she is targeted

Sadie: A kicka** heroine, who is believable in her abilities. I'm not a fan of heroines who do unrealistic things for the sake of being a bada**. Sadie is not that. She's incredibly driven, working hard to run her father's legacy, a boxing gym. She donates her time to teaching women how to defend themselves from attack. And while she definitely takes out a few bad guys, it doesn't come across as over the top. It's easy to believe someone her size, who dedicates so much time to train, could get t ...more

Discovering this author has been one of my favorite things about 2020. I needed to find something to love, and it is definitely this series. Each book is unique in its own way but still has a sense of familiarity to it that I adore. She creates a world that despite it being the underbelly of criminality it still is so much more. It feels real, authentic, and in a nutshell, is mesmerizing.

I live for strong female characters, but in Mafia-style romance, they are often just fierce and sassy with th

I love this series and I love the whole Bellandi men !! 🖤🖤

I need Sadie to be my friend and I need a Italian in my life in the form of Enzo!!

Sadie is best friends to Ivory who is married to Matteo. And she is godmother to their daughter. Because of that Sadie became a target so Murphy sent one his men to kidnap Sadie. In the end he was on his back handcuffed and a broken arm & leg. Oh YES Sadie can kick ass!! She runs a boxing gymn and teaches self defense

I loved these two soo much

I’d like to preface this review by noting that I truly love Adelaide Forrest’s books. She’s a great writer and consistently crafts amazing, possessive alpha heroes, and that was definitely the case with Enzo. His instant love for and scorching connection with Sadie was everything I expected. I also loved his attitude in addressing Sadie’s mental health issues. He never tried to change her; instead, he worked to accommodate her and make her life easier. I thought this was an extremely respectful ...more
