It is a heartwarming and humorous story of a lovable hedgehog who finds one fine morning that he has misplaced his precious spectacles, without which he feels himself lost. He must find them quickly, and so, he goes out on a search, committing one blunder after another because he cannot see things clearly without the aid of glasses. In the end, his close friend Graf, the giraffe, helps him find them. Just like the earlier popular children picture story books by the author, this latest book also has a highly enjoyable and humorous story that is bound to captivate the imagination of the little readers. With its simple and lucid narration style and finely colored and detailed illustrations by the author herself, it makes an excellent addition to your tiny tots’ book collections. Though the book is meant for the age group of 2-8 years, it can be read and enjoyed even by older children and grown-ups too because of the humorous story and lovely illustrations. It makes for a perfect gift, a highly enjoyable read-aloud and also an ideal bedtime story for toddlers and preschoolers. The book teaches children about the value of friendship, kindness and the importance of helping others in need. While kindling their interests through humorous illustrations, it also introduces them to the wonderful world of nature, spring season and various animals. "Mr. Hedgehog and His Missing Spectacles" is a cute and funny story all in one! Mr. Hedgehog thought he left his spectacles on a log, but when he went to get them, they were not there. He goes on a funny adventure to locate his glasses. It's funny because he really cannot see correctly without his glasses, so the things he says and does are quite hilarious. Children will laugh at this silly hedgehog! While most of his friends are quite unhelpful, he finally finds one friend who joins in looking for his glasses. There is a moral written at the end of the book about good friends helping. Sometimes we need friends to help us see what we are unable to see for ourselves.
The book would be good for kids around ages 4-7.

Great Adventurous Tale!

This wonderful story is superbly illustrated with such fine detail! I adore Mr. Hedgehog and thoroughly enjoyed this well-written work by Author Palanna. If there were 6 stars, I'd gladly rate it the highest accolades! Bravo 🐾🐞

Friends Helping Each Other

This is a cute little story about a hedgehog that loses his glasses. He goes on a necessary adventure to try to find them but mistakenly thinks he is seeing and meeting different things than he is. Happy ending and wonderful illustrations.
