Vyro Creek #1

Arizona Lightning

Rate this book
If you love paranormals, westerns, and a wicked plot, this is for you!

Three women fed up with the hustle of Los Angeles take a leap of faith. They land in a world of rebellion and immortals. The first, they can do without, the last, they can’t resist.

Ariana, Lynn, and Tess can’t turn down the steal of a deal on a dilapidated ranch in Saguaro Gulch, Arizona. The moving boxes are barely unpacked when visitors drop by. Three immigrant brothers from Ireland own the neighboring ranch named Vyro Creek.

While Tess and Lynn are infatuated by the bachelors, Ari isn't as overwhelmed by the rugged cowboys with cut jaws and piercing blue eyes. There’s something distinctly unsettling about the oldest brother, Quinn Connelly.

After nightfall, a ruckus in the decrepit barn sends Ariana to investigate. When the threat is gone, so are her memories of the predator.

The desert is a rough and parched landscape. But Ari and her friends learn it's not just the wildlife that's hot and thirsty.

Natazsa Waters brings you emotion, suspense and yes I hate to say it but a slight cliffhanger. I dont ususally read cliff hangers as I do not like them but I have to say I love her books and this one is no exception. I cant wait to read the others coming in this new series. This books is a Emotional rollercoaster that pulls you into each page. The characters leave you breathless as you read their journeys

I have to say I was surprised, and excited, when I saw Ms. Waters was releasing a paranormal book. I love her style of writing and I knew this one will be good too. Reading this story is not just reading, but getting immersed in a world that is old but new at the same time, with a new twist that made it into something exciting. I could not stop, read well into the night, needing to know what happens next. Quinn is lovable despite his sometime stubborn attitude, and he met his match in Ariana LOL those two can make fireworks. I wish they would make up their minds and see that they belong together. The story has an almost cliffhanger ending, but not really. Love the world building and how the layers are revealed slowly throughout the story. I can’t wait to read the next one.

“I don’t have a heart, but for some reason I still have a soul and you keep calling to it…”

Ariana and her two best friends have had enough of city life. Taking a chance on building a fresh beginning from broken pasts, the friends purchase a fixer upper ranch in Saguaro Gulch, Arizona. While getting their bearings in their new environment, they quickly discover the desert isn’t the only thing heating up…their new neighbors are smokin’ hot…and brothers! Ariana is especially drawn towards one of them…tall, dark and potentially deadly, Quinn Connelly. With each encounter, Ariana and Quinn try to fight the chemistry sparking between them…but it’s easier to bottle lightning than to stop a love that’s fated…

Ariana and Quinn’s love affair is as wild and hot as the Arizona desert. Natasza Waters has written a paranormal romance with an all new take on the vampire lore, and I loved it! Arizona Lightning is a smexxy kick ass vampire romance guaranteed to set you aflame! While it does end in a cliffhanger (insert many a sentence enhancer), it only feeds your desire for more! If you are a fan of cowboy romances and not sure about paranormal, I recommend giving this a read…and if you are a VILF lover, then hold on to your hat, because dear Reader, you are in for a verra smexxy ride!

What an awesome book! The author brings a cast of strong characters and weaves an intriguing story. It's the first book in the series and all I can say is , I can't wait for the next one! She had me captivated from start to finish and still left with wanting more with the cliffhanger ending. She brings sexy cowboys and vampires as well as the feisty women they meet. It's well written with vividly painted scenes and has so many twists and turns you have to keep reading to see where she's going next. It's a fantastic story I would highly recommend reading. loved it!!!

Loved this book! Natasza knocks it out of the park, if does end in a cliffhanger but just makes me look forward to the next book. She is the queen of juggling multiple characters and bringing them all to life for you.

Arizona Lightning is an insanely intense ride that stole my breath away! Mixing a captivating blend of every-day western with a unique vampire world, I stayed enthralled as the story bubbled to life and surrounded me.

I (sometimes grudgingly) enjoyed everything about this story, even the parts that ripped my heart to shreds and scared the crap out of me. I have been jumping at shadows for a few nights and shed more than a few tears. But the moments where there was hope, and something precious was nurtured, some laughter slipped out, and the depth of beauty and love in its various forms shone bright, those times made every moment of torture worth it.

I loved how not only was this the beginning of the story for Ari and Quinn, but we also got to see the bonds of friendship sisterhood (and how honest and real those could be - not everything is peachy) with the three women and abiding bonds of brotherhood with the three men. Something about that just seems to make the story feel more full-bodied and deeper. I can't wait to see how all that plays out in the stories to come.

I could go on about how I bonded with Ari and felt her emotions mirrored so clearly, and wanted to help her find herself again and claim some goodness and comfort for herself. And how Quinn, being a vampire was perfect (eh, in a way) and I adored his sense of protection, strength, confidence, and encouragement, but also being a male (and ahem, let's not forget, a vampire) was not perfect, and made some decisions and had some reactions that gutted me - even if I understood why. And how the special bond Ari and Quinn had with each other melted me over and over again. I could sing to how I fell for a certain other vampire brother and his woman. I could melt over the precious surprise that arrived and stole hearts so easily. I could share how I look forward to how things play out with other characters. But, no matter what I say, the story needs to be experienced in all its glory. Totally worth taking a chance on something new.

Throw caution to the wind, let go of expectations, and head on down to Arizona where things are sizzling hot on the range.

P.S. Book two cannot come soon enough - be prepared, just sayin'. omgoodness.

A friend suggested I read this book. Since her last suggestion led me to a wonderful author, I de-cided to give this one a try. I do not normally read paranormal books, but I am a big fan of cow-boys. I am so glad I followed her suggestion! I was pulled into this interesting story from the very beginning and found it difficult to put it down. Ariana, Tess and Lynn have their work cut out for them making it as ranchers in the desert town of Saguro Gulch. The handsome trio of Connelly brothers at the neighboring ranch help them. But, so much more is going on here! As I said, the further I got into this story, the harder it was to put it down. Excellent read with interesting multi-dimensional characters throughout. More twists and turns than a knotted up rope! This is not your typical romance book, it is filled with suspense and tension. Although I am not a fan of serial books, I will definitely make an exception for this series. Now, I have to wait for the next book…

When I saw one of my favourite authors was writing a new series I was super excited. If you haven’t read her other series then I highly recommend you do but remember Ghost is mine.

Now I must say I’m not keen on paranormal stories but it’s a favourite author so of course I’m gonna read it. Well what a fabulous story this is. I was gripped from start to finish. It’s a nice big sized book so when I wasn’t reading it I was thinking about it.

Three strong sassy women take over a ranch. The neighbouring ranch is owned by three Irish immigrants from Ireland. These sexy cowboys are so hot. This story is mostly about Quinn and Ariana although the other characters do get a look in lol Im not gonna get into the storyline but let me tell you it’s so so good.

As much as I love Ghost (you remember I said earlier on if you haven’t read him then you need to) well I am now claiming Quinn. They live in two different worlds so it’s not cheating lol

As a blogger my reading list is so long. If I stop whatever I’m doing to jump into a genre I’m not keen on and love the story it must tell you how amazing this author is. I’m already waiting for more of this series.

Soon their neighbours come by to introduce themselves Quinn,Donner and Connell Connelly are all gorgeous blue eyed men but there is something different about them Later a noise in the barn causes Ariana to check what is happening but why can't she remember afterwards What they don't know is that they have stumbled into the world of the paranormal and their neighbours are in fact royal vampires and has their attachment to their neighbours grows so does their involvement in the war that is coming. WOW!!! Talk about a lot of fang for your buck!!!! This is not your everyday vampire story. There are different levels that come with different powers. There is even vampire royalty. How cool is that???

Of course you know what can happen when there are different levels of hierarchy. There is a rebellion coming. This story is just the beginning. The story starts in a small town in Arizona where three women have purchased a ranch, planning to start a new lives. They border on a larger ranch owned by the Connelly family. Three gorgeous men that just happen to be vampire royalty. As love and desire kindle between couples the women get entrenched in a war they know nothing about.

Cover your neck. Get ready for that deep bite full of suspense. twists, turn, and holy heck moments. I can't wait for the thunder to roll in Arizona Thunder.

Natasza Waters switching up genres! Vampires, Cowboys, ranching and suspense has this story going in all directions. The 3 women who start off going into the ranching business together, after life handed them lemons, are determined to make lemonade. With 3 Irish brothers who have a secret along with stunning looks are the neighbors that will strike them like a summer storm, make their new life far from ordinary. Book 2 can’t come soon enough!

Great addition to the Sci-Fi/Paranormal Romance genre!

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.

The attitudes toward the events that are happening make the story even richer and the characters more relatable.

I think Ms. Waters has a hit on her hands. I really enjoyed this book, and that it's about 3 women friends, and that the women are older than their 20's. It's nice to read about older characters for a change, instead of young, just out of college girls. The male vamps in this story are delicious!
Most of the plot lines are left open for the next book in the series, which is a bit frustrating, but at least there wasn't a huge cliffhanger. Having read most of Ms. Waters books, I was a bit shocked to find some editing errors, but they can be overlooked since there are only a few of them. I look forward to reading the next book in the series!

Three adventurous heroines leave the city to land on a ranch in Arizona among some Irish neighbors who may not be what they seem . New series to enter the paranormal realm with suspense. I don't normally enjoy those neck biter books but this one is worth the read.

This is the first book in Ms. Waters's new series. As always, she writes a story that will pull you in from the very beginning and hold you until the last sentence of the last page. I love the complexity of her characters and the interactions they have with each other. The twists and turns of the plot will keep you engaged from beginning to end. She gives you cowboys, strong women, beautiful country and hot vampires to boot! Be warned, this one ends with somewhat of a cliffhanger. But, the second book comes out in early August so you won't have long to wait. Well worth your money and time. Pick up your copy today and be prepared to be up all night reading.

I loved how all the characters were different to one another and you could connect with them as well as feel like you were there with them and I was hooked from the very beginning when Lynn jumped onto the pickup and became the human compactor! lol You get drawn into the story and there are some great twist and surprises as well as laughs as we see how things unfold for Lynn, Ari and Tess along with the hunky neighbors Quinn, Donnor and Connell. Be warned this isn't a short book and it also ends with a cliffy but at least you don't have to wait long for the next book!

First time reading this author and I have to say I am hooked! I loved this book and I am really looking forward to the others in the series.

Arizona Lightning is a well-written western paranormal read with amazing characters and an awesome storyline. There is plenty of intrigue, suspense, sexual tension, emotional turmoil, mystery, and several twists and turns. The emotional rollercoaster of the two main characters alone will keep you flipping the pages. There are several layers to this story to keep you guessing and I liked how they were spread out and revealed over time rather than all together; it helped keep the suspense/mystery element strong from beginning to end.

*I received an arc from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Natasza Waters is one of my favorite authors and I normally just buy her books. The story is a departure from her other series but wow what a start. I found myself staying up too late and reading over lunch at work. I pre-ordered the next book in the series I am counting down the days...keep them coming!!!

Arizona Lightning was an unexpected surprise release by Natasza Waters. A wonderful surprise! The book totally captured my attention and interest from start to finish. I cannot wait to find out what’s going to happen next. It has passion, action, drama, suspense and a hint of humor. Plus we get to read about 3 couples instead of 1! Natasza will have you sitting at the edge of your seat with suspense. The book is well written and the story is unfolded expertly. Highly recommended!!!

I was very exited to start this book as I loved so many before so mixing it up with vampires....it was a sure bet. But I grew tired of the back and forth, memory erased, memory restored.... I love you but I don't want to live with you.... there were so many contradictions in this book I just grew more and more frustrated. Not for me unfortunately
