New city, new job, and then kidnapped by aliens?
—exactly the way Evren had seen her year going.

Not.

Add living on a base full of rebels and, well, whoever was in charge of her destiny was definitely having some fun.

She’d probably have to become an intergalactic rebel too…except, was that the path she was meant to take?

In the middle of figuring out her role in this new life, Evren finds herself drawing closer to a rebel that had rescued her: a tall, sexy alien named Kyro, whose presence makes her tingle in places that could get her in trouble.

He pulls her in a way she can’t understand—especially considering that he’s…strange.

He’s different from the others and that’s probably because he’s holding a secret—and not even his brothers in the fight know about it.

It’s a secret so deep, she needs to stay away.

For her safety and for his.

…But how can she resist when he keeps looking at her as if she belongs to him?

Kyro is a full-length standalone sci-fi romance featuring an alien rebel, a lovable heroine, and a possessive hero who would do anything to protect the one he declares as his own.

If you like sexy aliens, discovering new worlds, and steamy romance, check out Kyro. This standalone book contains steamy sex scenes with a guaranteed happily ever after, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.

This was def my fave of this series. It was well fleshed out with more complex side characters. Evren was much quieter than the other women, so we rarely see them on page. Kyro is quiet as well, although his is because of self preservation. They were awkward and sweet and I liked their HEA.

Spice: 3/5

Triggers: abduction, captivity, drugging, torture, hallucinations, stalking, violence, gore, murder, battle, near death experiences, SA (historical), threat of SA, death of parents (historical), death of sibling, mentions of child enslavement, flashbacks, pregnancy (side characters)

I loooooooved the hero. He was very endearing, sweet, and hilarious! I loved how he messed up the names for Star Trek and the Big Bang Theory. His attempts at jokes.. All of it made me lol- literally :)

Kyro is the fifth explosive sci-fi book in the Captured by Aliens series by AG Wilde. Kidnapped and sold by vile creatures who take and breed no matter who you are. Creatures who torture, rape, and murder, no matter the consequences. It is a dark, high-stakes danger with romance, action, tension, vicious battles, danger, and suspense. A series that should not be missed.

But hot on their heels are aliens that have lost everyone they loved to these creatures, hoping to stop them to exact revenge. These new aliens are loyal, have courage, and will take on all looming threats that jeopardise their lives and the lives they swore to protect. These alpha heroes find something they thought would never be possible, and that is a connection with humans in the face of uncertainty and danger.

This was okay. I'm not a fan. I expect more steam in my sci-fi romance. This book barely had one solid sex scene. The world building was good. So, was the storytelling. But the romance was just completely lacking--com.plete.ly. lacking. I must have a good story. It's required in my books. I need good characters and world building. But, I also need a strong love story and some romance. This book was great at the former but terrible at the latter. Anna Hackett does it so much better! I'm rating this a three because it's not a bad book. It's just a bad romance.

5 fabulous 🌟's for book 5 in the Captured by Aliens series.💖

Oh how I adore this series males that are worthy, loyal, strong and fiercely love their independent human mates! Kyro has to be one of my favorite male leads he's strong, caring, kind and hold a deep secret that no one can ever know. He wants to have a deep loving relationship but he fears that can never be. Until he and his friends save a group of human females from the evil toad like Tasquals. Kyro has up to this point been satisfied with his love of all things computer and data driven and then things start to change when he saved Evern he doesnt want to get to close but he can't seem to help himself she is everything he didn't know he wanted in a mate. But he would die first before putting her in danger. Evern is alone in a room full of people. She's always been that way even before the abduction. Few lovers, a cat that she adored and her work kept her going. When that was taken from her she didn't give up even though there were times she wanted too. When she was a child she lived through a traumatizing experience that lead her to become an ecologist now she just to d away to not just survive this new life buttheads in it. Kyro is ever in her thought more of a loner like herself , I bit quirky and weird but in the most adorable fun loving ways.He also has her corny sense of humor. She wants to be close but she doesn't think he cares good her the way she cares for him. The need to see each other grows and with it their feelings, Kyro struggles with his need to keeps his secrets and protect Evern and his growing feelings of totalling for her. As always there is action, a bit of intrigue, a nasty Tasqual encounter and lots of love, passion and ultimate!y love.. So worth an evening read I finished it in one sitting. I'm beyond thrilled to know that this series and the fighters of the resistance will continue on and I'm also looking forward to the new series 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

One of the better stories in the series. But “gonads” is never going to be a sexy word and doesn’t belong in a spicy scene 😬🫣

Kyro and Evren

Evren is one of the women abducted by the slug-like Isclits to be sold to the High Tasqals, a race of aliens whose infected bodies can only impregnate other races.
Kyro is a Vorti, an alien in hiding for fear of persecution by the High Tasqals.
The Tasqals will do anything to get the human women back, and only Evren remains unmated.
Kyro is a member of the Resistance fighting against the Tasqals, when he finds himself falling for Evren, he never realised that it might cost him so much!

This is the final story in the original series and background story, though there was a hook for subsequent related books, so the universe is still ongoing!
We learn Kyro’s long kept secret, see a few cameo appearances from the main characters in previous books, and this time, spend time somewhere other than the sand planet Muk!
This was probably my favourite book in the series, Kyro is a fascinating character and very sweet to Evren.
Evren is a very independent person, and the way she falls for Kyro and deals with his secret is great.

If you’re a fan of sci-fi romance, then you’ll probably enjoy this sexy sci-fi series!

ANOTHER FABULOUS ADDITION TO THE SERIES!!!
Title: Kyro
Series: Captured by the Aliens
Author: A.G. Wilde
Designation: Book 5 of Series, Full-Length, *Can Be Read As A Stand-alone, No Cliffhanger #sciencefiction #alienabduction #romance #actionadventure #angstyslowburn
My Rating: Five SuperNova Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
*Wilde gives readers a very articulate recap of the series so far at the beginning of the book, introducing the diverse Reku5 team of rebel alien warriors and immersing readers into the world of the Restitution, an organization of freedom fighters working for the greater good of the universe. Their primary objective is to thwart the evil machinations of a malevolent enemy called the Tasqals, stop their enslavement of other species, and rescue those who have already been taken and are currently suffering horrific fates. HOWEVER, I highly recommend reading the books sequentially for maximum enjoyment and a richer reading experience.

To be continued...

I like this book,

And I think you will, too. These two do NOT fall into insta-love-lust- whatever. They meet. They find each other interesting. They hang out. And start to care. It is a very sweet story, made memorable by the other 3 males skulking about, mysterious transmissions between a spy and his "master", shapeshifters, & homemade clothes that suck on the first try (we've all been there). The overall plot of the series is moved forward and we learn about more slaves/victims, and a captive telepath from Yce's planet. Interesting world building keeps me interested in finding out what happens next. NO TYPOS! Everyone knows how I despise them.
Solid 8/10 unicorns 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄
Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the next installment...

Not my favorite but not bad

Evren he some annoying moments, and I don't know if it's me, but there's some boundary issues she needs to work on for sure. Other than that, she is lonely on the base, and she runs into one of the aliens that rescued her.

Kyro is obsessed with Earth and Evren. he has a secret that can put all their lives in danger. She is an ecologist and an enthusiastic reader, so she won points from me, but dear lord, she was annoying.

Ok, overall this was an enjoyable series. There were issues in each book that made reading not as fun, but I still ended up reading the whole series and generally found myself liking the books.
Throughout the series there's good...
A compelling kidnapping/ alien abduction plot
Plenty of steamy scenes
Some pretty solid tropes: soulmates, forced proximity, alpha male/protectors, men who fall first, and even a few one bed instances.
...and some meh
especially when it comes to the kidnapping & lack of any sort of consequences or justice!

Ok, this book specifically-
The good:
-Kyro. What a compelling hero! a shapeshifter, a kidnap victim, a hero, a protector, a male shy around women... well, i guess it's more of a 'can't let a woman get close because she'll be hunted if I'm ever found out' rather than "shy" .. but same ish.
-Evren, I actually liked her as a character. She's not a 'fighter' the same way the first 3 women were, but she was determined to adapt and survive. I can respect that.
-The self denial trope.. I don't normally like the 'i love her but can't be in a relationship with her because she might get *hurt*' trope mainly because it's usually the male making that decision without ever communicating with the woman. Women are adults and can make their own decisions! At least respect the fMC enough to give her an actual choice. ok rant over. Kyro almost found himself on my shitlist, but he did end up communicating with Evren over the whys and hows and they made the decision together. It made this trope actually work and set up the characters for the final battle (esp when they both realized they were wrong and loved each other)
-I liked that there were 2 potential characters that meant Evren harm but the reader didn't really know who it was until that final moment.

The meh:
-the lack of justice in the end with the tasquals (same as all the other books)
-how the main couple ended up together (yay) but hated that it was on a completely isolated station (ew)
>> ok, I'm going to dig into this a bit, spoilers ahead
>
>>
>>>
They headed off to the isolated station were it will literally be just the 2 of them because that was the only option deemed 'safe' now that Evren knew the truth about what Kyro is and that's the only way to protect her and his secret and remain together.... some problems with that:
1. EVERYONE knows his true identity now. Did they wipe the memories of all his friends? why are they allowed to know and Evren has to be isolated for knowing? If they all know then isn't the reason for the isolation moot? what is the harm in remaining together now that everyone knows? This is never really explained
2. Evren spends most of the books MISSING her human friends and humans in general need some sort of interaction to feel good. Isolation with 1 being is not enough, soulmate or not. I just really hated this as an ending.

Eh, it was a book. Although through the entire series the whole 'screamed with pleasure' thing makes me cringe. All the time. Every spicy scene. I was like can you not? Why are you screaming? Why?

EDIT: Another thing was the ever changing dick sizes or the giant dicks. Like in book 4 the one dude's dick 'smacked his chest', like dude had a 2 footer going on there but then it only laid on his stomach, which is more reasonable but still like ?????. And then in this one, they are in what is described to be a deep bath but the tip of his dick is poking out of the water. Like what??? How big is the dick? Over a foot for sure! Too much

Like girlies, we have, on average, about 5 inches of depth in our vagina. We cant shove a full girthy foot of dick up there. There is such a thing as too much and the dicks on these guys were too much. Like the one in book 3 i think, his flacid dick was 'like three coke cans stacked together', you know how big that is? Nearly FIFTEEN INCHES. And some how teeny tiny earth lady took ALL of it when it was hard. Which if the dude isnt a grower, he still gains 15% in size which would mean his dick was over 17 inches long. Come on. Women can't take that, we are physically unable too.

You can have a good sex scene where the guy is big, like bigger than average, and still have it believable. She doesnt need to take all of it, especially when said dick is reported to be fifteen inches long. Like no. That's just too much.

It's Kyro's turn to find his special lady friend. Or, well, to admit he's already found her and figure out if there's a way they can stay together given the super big secret he's keeping. The information loving alien and dealer of bad jokes has a teeny-tiny thang for Evren, but he's not willing to drag her into his very dangerous world.

Except...being a human puts her smack-dab in the middle of it without any dragging. Yep, those nasty aliens who abducted the earth women the first time have itchy fingers when it comes to reacquiring them.

Fortunately, Evren has Kyro to count on. Eventually. It takes time for both of them to figure out their feelings, but the two loners make a good couple and they get to where they need to be. With a few minor adventures along the way. You know, like creepy new friends and sketchy stalkers and a little shapeshifting. GOOD TIMES!

I've enjoyed this series, but I AM SO INTRIGUED BY THE OTHER ABDUCTEES THAT WERE RESCUED. Just...OMG, bring it! I want to know what's going on with those poor women.

Wow ..always the quiet ones☺️

Kyro the last of the brothers to get his mate Evren (cool name). The read was exceptional, Kyro reminded me of Datar from Star Trek the next generation, curious about human nature. Evren the independent woman who wants normality. Kyro although quiet in ways wants to explore the feelings evoked from being near Evren and then stronger when she is not in his sight, he has a secret which could put Evren in danger however instead becomes her protector. Evren is also trying to figure out why she has the same feelings but it stays put in her head. They’re both tormented from what happened in their past and to move on she has to trust what her instincts is telling her. There is heroism, carnage, revenge and heaps of action oh and long awaited sexiness.

An amazing read

This series is sexy, sassy and sweet with bada** characters. It has a bit of everything from adventures to romance and characters that you instantly fall in love with while you watch them grow. Each book involves an Sexy Alpha Alien and his strong heroine that grows in strength throughout the book. Also as you read each book the characters from previous books appear and its nice to catch up with them and see more growth. I would highly recommend this series and other writes by the very talented writer A.G Wilde. What I wouldn't give to be able to dive into her amazingly creative mind and live among the characters and an whole universe DEFINITELY WORTH THE READ I am happy the series is continuing and can't wait to delve into book 6

Last book in the series and it was probably the best one (but that's not saying a whole lot). I almost skipped it because the previous ones in the series where so mediocre and I don't care about this series at all. This one was a lot better and more entertaining than the other books in the series. I think that's because it didn't try to line up all the previous events, it instead went in a new direction and didn't rely on the other books.

Big props to the narrator of these books. She did a really good job. The characters did sound a lot a like but I didn't get tired of listening to her and she had a nice range. She definitely carried the books for me, I likely would have quit around book 3.

I didn't really recommend wasting an audible credit on these tho 🤷‍♀️

Evren is a strong, relatable FMC; as a trained ecologist, she’s not a warrior or a rebel, which leaves her unsure of her place in her new reality. She plays an active role in the relationship—there’s no damsel here. When Kyro breaks down, she becomes his strength.

Kyro is intense, emotionally layered, sweetly vulnerable, and has a surprising sense of humor. As a rebel warrior fighting against the oppressive Tasqal regime, Kyro has been through trauma. But he’s never lost his sense of justice or his capacity for love, even if he tried to bury it to protect those he cares about from his secret—something even his closest allies don’t know.

The love between Kyro and Evren grows in such an organic way that you can’t help rooting for them to overcome their baggage and find peace together.

Vulnerable and secretive

I liked this couple. Kyro was an extremely vulnerable alien who because of his secrets couldn’t accept that he could be falling for the human female Evren his team had rescued and he was tasked to protect. A scientist and independent Evren is lonely and as the other women have hooked up with the team members she has to start making a living and a life for herself. But being a human female attracts all the wrong kind of attention and Kyro has too much to lose if he gets too close. I am glad the author is doing a spin off of this Restitution series. I would like to know about the other pods.

I'm Picky

I liked the story and it was well told, but this is the second book in this series that I really found a flaw. Calico Cats are always female, yet the author didn't seem to know this. In another book in the series, she had an American woman, not a scientist, thinking and measuring distances in Kilometers instead of miles.

Even though her email address is in the United States, if she were American, she would never make that mistake. We never as laymen think in kilometers. Same with the cat, I wonder where calicos are so rare that the author would be unfamiliar with calico cats? Nigel???

A mate for Kyro

This is book five of the series and all these stories are good. The families that are being created from the alien warriors mating together with the rescued human females. In this story both Evren and Kyro have secrets from their pasts that they are trying to hide. These two care about one another from the beginning but continue to convince themselves that they are not worthy. This book is an easy and entertaining read. There is fighting, abuse, and kidnapping as is common in this type of alien to human romantic story and the other four books in the series. Read On!

Endearing characters

One of my favorite things about A. G. Wilde's writing is thier gift of creating wonderful characters. There are some authors who, while enjoyable to read, cannot be binged because the books become repetitive, rehashing the same characters and stories with different names and settings. Wilde, though, each book they write has unique characters and diverse experiences. I believe this is the tenth book I've read by them in the last two weeks (who needs sleep? ) and I am excited to get to the next.

The end of the series was only the beggining

A different type of heroine and our last team member to find his soulmate. I am glad the author mentioned at end of the book there will be spin- off the series, because i really liked all of the books and did not wanted it to end. The book had a few characters, which i hope will get their own book.
As a last book i can say it surprised me in a way i was not expecting, and the characters build up relationship was great.

I love Kyro! But Kyro drove me nuts with all the inner dialogue. Thankfully, the book moved forward. Great story. One think didn’t make sense about how Kyro looks like one of the gator guards. Wont say why as that would be a spoiler. Yce s abilities should have picked up Kyro secret. Just a little less logical but his character was so tragic and wonderful. Lots of action and very enjoyable series.

OMG! What an Amazing Sci-fi Love Story!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody who is a Bad Boys movie fan knows the line, “Now this is how you shoot.” Well, this is how the final novel in a series should be wrote! Kudos to AG Wilde for a superb ending to the Captured by Aliens series. Kyro and Evern’s love story is my new favorite. It is filled with laugh out loud moments, surprises, emotion and steam! Wish I could give it 100 stars.

Enjoyed this series

This was a great find. I had been looking for a new series and stumbled upon this one. I found it just in time to read all of the books that was released prior to this one. This was a fitting end. I laughed and rested up with this book. Loved it. I can’t wait for the spinoff to start. I’ll be waiting patiently.

I’ve now read all the books currently published in this series and loved every one of them. The main characters in each book are so well crafted that it’s impossible not to want to read more. I’m now on the first of the linked series and can’t wait to read more. I recommend this book, and the rest of AG Wilde’s books, to anyone who enjoys science fiction, alien kidnapping, romance books.

Ok

I actually skipped a ton. Like most of the sex stuff. It's all the same at this point. Same with the fight scenes.
*Light Spoiler*
And I'm surprised epilogue is they didn't stay with they friends. Feels unresolved. Do they still keep on touch? How often? Who's Kyros replacement on the team?

Wow!

Loved the entire series but this is my favorite of the five. Kyro is so sweet and unassuming. To turn into a "skunkat" to watch over Evren and keep her safe then to show her his true form is a trust that so few people have in another and his battle form had me needing ice water and a fan. Again just WOW!

Again another story that was entertaining.

I liked both Kyro and Evren. We start their story a little differently, since they have known each other for a little while now, but it still feels like instant attraction. That works well with our theme of human women being bewitching creatures lol. Very quick fun read.

**** Great read, 4 stars ****
