I have loved pop up books since I was a kid. My aunt collected them and I used to sit by her shelf and devour them on every visit. This one is so fun and full of space facts and technology information. A fun addition to any bookshelf.

This book was such a fun read for me and my small group! I was told a couple of them like space, but I wanted the book to be more interactive than just reading paragraphs about the moon and stars. The pop-ups in the book are detailed, fun to look at, and have identifying captions underneath! It teaches children about the basic moon/stars/solar system, but also about the objects used to look at space, and history about going into space! My small group's favorite pages were the ones about astronauts. The illustrations were bright and engaging, making the nonfiction material able to be read like a story book.

Pop-up books bring out the kid in all of us and this one is very well done. It would make a perfect gift for someone who loves space. Lots of information is packed in this little book from the solar system and moon landing to the exploration of Mars.

A fast-paced novel with stunning interactive visuals. I plan to read this at least five more times before the end of the year.
