Not as good as the first

I preferred the illustrations of the first graphic novel to this one. It did follow the storyline of the book fairly well.

This is probably like the fifth time now, where I've gone to the library and seen a cool book with a pretty cover (or in this case, a cool book that I've been recommended COUNTLESS times by now and pretty artwork inside 😍) and just picked it up and had said "hey, why not take this home to read and get off the 'want-to-read' list?" ☠️ ☠️ Yeah, so THAT and the fact that it's not even the FIRST volume to the series. 😭 Actually help me here, you guys.

And yes, I KNOW that this is the graphic novel version. 🙄 I just thought that it would be more fun and motivating to get into to read and encourage me to start the next book. 😃✌🏼So peace.

@Amna is probably killing me and mentally screwing me over right now (not that I don't blame her or anything). 😅 Heh, heh... Heh. 😀

I liked the story, as always, but if I hadn't read the original book, there's nothing that really would have made me read this. Oh and it's obvious the illustrator is a man because of Holly's hair. Because what was with it!? Seriously, if she's supposed to be an officer, she wouldn't just have this long strand of hair always in the middle of her face impedeing her vision! also, it wouldn't just stay in one strand in a single spot, it would spread out get in the way! And I realize that's a weird thing to rant about, but every time I saw it, it took me right out of the book because it is SO unrealistic.

Rating 2024: 4/5 - I enjoy this series but I kinda hate the font of the graphic novels. It’s a bit hard to read. lol

Holly, from the fairy world, must ask for Artemis’s help when trying to stop a mystery. In exchange, the fairies will help Artemis find his missing father.

I recommended this series to my nephew and picked up Book 2 so I could talk to him about it. My nephew, an eleven year old, really liked it. As a 34 year old, It’s just not my jam.

I didn’t like that Artemis didn’t have a huge role in this book.

Multiple pages in the physical copy I read were duplicates and out of order. Unforgiveable!

MPA ratings: PG for violence, rude humor, and for tobacco depictions
