Swept halfway across the world and held captive in a breathtaking estate that held many secrets, will she fight the devil who is determined to make her fall in love with him?
The Devil's Love is a standalone contemporary romance.
Anjali led a simple life as a chef. She never thought her life would be uprooted when she accompanied her boyfriend to a party and met Vijay Seth, a powerful man who fascinated yet terrified her. A dark pursuit and proposal followed, which she rejected, only to be tricked into marriage and swept halfway across the world and held captive. He is ruthless and obsessed. She hates him and fears him. And yet, their burning passion can't be denied.. Loved it! Kind off harlequin style romance, but a bit darker and hotter!
I used to love the depth of this author books.... This entire series, threw me off guard, though the plot was good, all 3 books are similar and this book especially is little shallow, many details are missed..... I couldn't understand the love-hate-love of Anjali at all.....
Shiv and abhi will conspire against you for making jays book the best😜
Just i think this would be a good book u amaze me.. Iwas expecting vijays book would be some thing similar to dezirre and kiss but the the twists and turns of the tales make it to stand unique... So nicely penned... Plot woven skillfully i want to write so much more its allin my heart. Verynice book
Like most M.V. Kasi books, this one kept me hooked. I just had to know what happened in the past and how Anjali and Vijay would move on in the future. But the heroine, Anjali, was soo frustrating. She was immature and rash - destroying hers and Vijay's relationship over a misunderstanding. Also, the twist about her identity was interesting but didn't match up with her initial behavior. So it seemed like a the twist was thrown in for shock factor, than to satisfy the plot.
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/4 Type: Standalone Genre: Contemporary Fiction Romance Primary Characters: Vijay and Anjali Narration: Limited third Party
I was eagerly waiting for this book from the time author announced she has recreated some of the scenes of this story from popular Classic “Rebecca”. This book is definitely unique in its own way and has several unexpected twists and turns. In my opinion, it has very less relevance with Rebecca. I liked this book much more than the second one, as it has its own mix of loveliness and uniqueness.
The initial part of the story felt similar & repetitive like other two books in the series yet, author has made it very interesting. Book starts with Vijay’s obsession with Anjali and marrying her against her will. Anjali is intrigued about his first wife and her mysterious death. Intrigue around his first wife and all secrets of Vijay were nested well.
Character development is good. The flow of the book is steady with wonderful up’s and down. Plot is woven nicely with gripping narration style. No intriguing secondary characters. All twists and turns were justified. Build for suspense, romance, mystery and other issues are tied up and nested well.
Overall, interesting romantic suspense. I would recommend this for anyone who in interested in Indianized romantic suspense with some elements of darkness.
The story is so intense & full of twists & turns that it keeps the reader glued on, not even a single time I felt like dropping it in between. God I feel the MMC is the darkest hero of all desi Books, I have read till date. The best part is in the entire book, both the protagonists are strong & they are strength of each other. I am truly a fan of Mv kasi 's writing. A good desi Mafia Romance is very hard to find and I am glad I got this series, it's worth the read. Brilliant storyline, both Thrilling & Passionate. Book starts with Vijay's obsession with Anjali and marrying her against her will. Anjali is intrigued about his first wife and her mysterious death. Mystery around his first wife and all secrets of Vijay. It was indeed a sweet and an emotional story and kept me engaged throughout. I don't know why I have started with the third book in the series, but I am really excited to read the first two installments. You could feel the emotions of protagonists and experience their love through years of separation. Character development is good. The flow of the book is steady with wonderful up's and down. Plot is woven nicely with gripping narrative style. Highly recommended
This book has 300+ pages but not even a single time I felt like dropping it in between. The story is so intense & full of twists & turns that it keeps the reader glued on. I liked the theme & the way author has weaved the story is amazing. I have read all the stories in Devil series & I must say each story has its own enticement for the reader. I have gone through the works of some internationally famed authors as well who wrote on Russian, Italian & Irish Mafia families & similar themes. While this series sounds similar but there a stark difference in the way romanticism has evolved in this story. MV Kasi has done full justice to the lead characters & in fact every character holds its own importance. Every Devil had his own charm & way to impress readers in its own way.
The best part is in the entire Devil Series both the protagonists are strong & they are strength of each other. 5 Star to MV Kasi for the brilliant work ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A perfect ending to the mafia series! Couldn't have been better..
Because of this book, I re-read the first two parts as I had wanted it to be a continuous reading experience. Glad I did! Vijay's character which had an air of mystery in the first two parts was revealed in a layered fashion which was satisfying. Satya, the mysterious first wife and how her death affects him was something which was expressed albeit in concise manner. The book starts with his obsession with Anjali and forcibly marrying her - the only time I kind of not liked him but it was all justified eventually. The only thing I found repetitive was the way climax unfolded.
All in all, an amazing read. While Anirudh and Shiv leave their mark, Vijay's silent brooding and overall character sketch stands out and stays with you long after you've finished reading their stories.
I felt the again the same story line almost till I was half way through the book. Then the twist happened, I didn't expect it because they weren't subtle hints or anything which solidified the benefit of doubt.
But, the result which came out is absolutely fantastic. I loved this book more than the second one, as it has got some kind of uniqueness to it. Otherwise all the books in Devil series would be similar.
Still felt the first half of the story was quite similar has become quite repetitive. Exactly in that state of mind you recieve a shock and suddenly story becomes quite interesting. Thats about Devil's Love.
This was more heart wrenching story than the the other two in the series.
* Passionate Love * Befitting Conclusion * Emotional Rollercoaster * Pure Possession
Must read 🖤 He proposed her marriage at first sight with pure possession
On her wedding day awaited "a tale of events" - Her boyfriend's betrayal - Her marriage to the devil And - her resemblance to Devil's beloved first wife
When mystery starts to unravel She confesses her reasons for staging her death But, he want her to leave
Destiny brought them together again with the union of our devils
At last, "she pulled his head down to kiss him and sealed the promise of forever"
To be honest I’m kind of sad that this series has come to an end. This has by far been my favorite series. Loved Vijay and Anjali’s story. Never expected the twist that came regarding her but it only made the story more interesting. I held my breath at the end when the tunnel came down but like the other 2 books, the end wasn’t disappointing. Loved it and highly recommend the captive brides series.
The third and final book of the Captive Bride series does justice to the series. What I have always loved about MV Kasi's books are how well established the characters are. And their back stories. All of them have great origin stories. And the way it connects to the present. Loved Vijay. The whole Satya - Anjali angle was pretty amazing. All in all, loved the book. <3
I loved the Devils Love because of Mr.Vijay Seth 's character .He is all good person perfect but having seen life he wants to protect his Satya Anjali from otherwises of the world .. His anguish and frustration can be felt.. and the pain which he shallows every now and then caused by his love an off hand talker .
Over all the book is good to read ...the plot can be relatable .. Love your books ❤❤❤❤
The twist was predictable. There is no progress upto 80 percent of the story and it feels the female character is with ML just for sexual needs. I feel like the story kinda dragged a lot till 3/4 the of the book and the ending feels rushed. There were instances in Anjali's pov as confusing at some time as she didn't have memory loss and it portrayed Anjali & Satya are different in her( Anjali's) Pov.l love M V kasi's writting style but this one didnt worked for me.

I have always loved the work of M.V. Kasi. One of my all time favourites and will always look forward for her book releases. Like always this series also has a strong story line. While its heart breaking to know the darkness lurking in the world its also wonderful to read about good winning over the evil. Go for the book and the series.
I guess the book is edited or proof read several times, but I think I found at least 2 mistakes. Him is used in place of her and found at least one sentence with a missing word that makes more sense to the sentence. Apart from that the story is worth reading.
Like the previous two this one is also a fabulous hit I must say. The whole series has so much to adore. The secret, the love, the passion, the romance everything is just perfect. After every few pages there is new twist n turn which holds you to the book like magnet. Reading it in one go is the real mantra I must say. Highly recommended 🙂👍
Wow.....this is definitely among your top three writings Kasi. You rocked it...love the story and the suprise twist in the story made me go back few pages and read again...Totally this is the best in Devil Series....
Oh, no. No no no. What a weird, disappointing end to a trilogy that started with promise. Crawled to the end of this. Overall the story arch makes slight sense when looking back, but in the thick of it it felt like the worst of my free online fan fiction, completely LOST.
