I read this first book in this series, and it took me a little bit to get involved in it, but by the time it was done, I wanted the next one. Oddly enough, the same thing happened with this second one, but this time I figured out why: I am very ambivalent about the main character of Sybille. LOL! OK, so let me get to the book itself. This well-written second book takes place about two months after the events of the first one. Sybille, Peter, and Margot are trying to keep Charlie from getting tak ...more

Sybille is a psychic so when her best friend Devin is abducted by a strange fae woman she is determined to get him back even if she has to fight like hell to succeed. She is also trying her niece safe which also keeping her blood-thirster boyfriend Ellis at bay as he very openly wishes she would join him in the undead life. Either way, she will not let Ellis, evil-sprits or the barrier between worlds stop her from rescuing Devin. As part of all of this, she will need to travel between realms and ...more

Wow, things got so intense in the sequel to the Blood King. Devin is missing, whisked away by a fae, Charlie is not doing great after being taken out of the Low, and Sybille & Elis are trying hard to keep it all together with her family. Oh and let’s not forget the evil lady locked up in Sybille’s mind, baking while plotting. This is fast paced and filled with a lot of action, a lot of different pieces moving, and a lot of different parts of the story that make up the whole shebang. I’m not gonn ...more

Blood Fae picks up just about where Blood King left off, and that includes the hilarious relationship between psychic Sybille and her centuries-old blood-thirster boyfriend, Elis. Their chemistry and entertaining banter are why this series ranks way up there for me in paranormal romance.

But Blood Fae is so much more than that!

With action, tension, and humor, author Amber K. Bryant takes Sybille on a wild journey between worlds, relying on her psychic abilities to fight evil fairies and keep the

So much detail! Fantastical stuff!

It had been a pretty long time since I had read Blood King the first book in this series so it took a bit longer than I like to ease into this book. Mostly that is because there is a fairly large cast of characters in these books. I enjoyed this book as much as the first one but it definitely isn't a fast read because of all of the details involved in the story. It is a fantastical story with a great bit of imagination.
I can't wait to see what happens next. Hop

This book picks up where book one ended. I was a bit lost at first without a recap but once I remembered who was who I was up to speed. This book has plenty of action, adventure and is fast paced. Great interaction between the characters and awesome descriptions of the fae realm. I am looking forward to book 3!

After reading the first book, I eagerly awaited for the second and it didn’t disappoint. New mysteries emerge. This book takes you through a journey and a half with returning characters and new information that made the book an intriguing read.

Some questions are answered and more arise. Story is steady paced. Sybille and Elis are together but are still working out the relationship. New characters are brought in along with some old ones. We visit Sybille's mind as well as fae realms. Lots going on! Looking forward to next one. ...more

The second book in the spirit seeker series builds off the first. New revelations and new problems to be added. The fun part is you think this book is going to have a Happily ever after...think again and then again. Definite must read series. Can’t wait for the next in the series.
