A second chance holiday romance with a single dad... gosh I loved this one so much!
Peyton is a dancer and dance has always come first in her life. She's spent the last 16 years or so in NYC as a principal dancer and is back in her hometown of Lubbock for the holidays. It's at her old dance studio that she runs into her first love, Isaac, and his daughter.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.A Wright Christmas by Natasha Madison turned out to be a sweet second chance romance set in Lubbock, Texas. It tells the story of high school sweethearts whose relationship ended on mutual terms when Peyton went to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a professional ballerina. Her life may have taken a different path, but time and distance did not dim her lo

A Wright Christmas is a short story that addresses second chances in love. It's a romantic and sweet story that I enjoyed reading.
Isaac and Peyton were each other's first love, but ended up moving away years ago to wander in search of their dreams. Now Peyton is back in his hometown and they have to decide whether their priorities were the same as they were years ago or whether it is worth giving them a chance.

It doesn’t really matter what time of the year it is, I would always enjoy to discover the magic of Christmas in a great story, especially if it is spiced with dashing love and sizzling chemistry. And this heart-warming story had me enchanted from the very beginning. I fell in love with the characters and completely got lost in the pages.

A Wright Christmas is a stand alone novel that is connected loosely with the Wright Brothers series. I read a review from a good blogger friend "Michele" and she recommended this and quite frankly her review had me one clicking this book and even though I am in a mad rush to read all my challenges books this month, I had to pick this one up and I will be honest I am so relieved that I took that initiative. 4.5 stars, and all the Christmas feels!
Well, if there’s one thing I’ve learned from this story is that I want to start back at one, and meet all these amazing Wright characters from previous books. This is indeed a standalone, but you still meet several characters from previous stories.
I love second chance romances, especially when something happens and they part as teens. I love that 16.5 years transpired between them, and as soon as circumstances made them cross paths again, dormant sparks go ...more

Oh man, it was so much fun visiting in the Wright family world again. I’d forgotten how awesome they all are. And then to add in a huge serving of love and lust and the promise of a second chance romance, a dash of a holiday favorite, and few drops of a precocious five year old and there’s a whole lot more to love found in A Wright Christmas.
I loved the dynamic and the connection and wowza, the heat between Isaac and Peyton. Good lord, I thought my Kindle was going to melt into a puddle of goo a ...more

Sweet, second chance holiday romance…
What better way to ease into the Christmas spirit than a sweet, second chance romance with the Wrights as a backdrop! This addition to the series was a standalone but it was great to catch glimpses of the family as Peyton and Isaac got reacquainted… Career and life forced them apart but even though circumstances had changed, there were obstacles still. They fought their attraction, they really did but love and the season were no match! The music, the food, th ...more

A Wright Christmas had the perfect amount of holiday cheer and sweet second chance romance goodness to make K.A. Linde’s charming book a page-turner.
This was set in the world of Linde’s Wright series but it can totally stand on its own. I was so excited to be back with the Wright family and Ms Linde did not disappoint, A Wright Christmas was everything I expected and so much more. It seems a while since I spend time with one of my favourite families and this book had me falling in love with them all over again.

I must be honest, I'm not much of a holiday book reader, don't know why. Some of the ones I've read, I've always ended up wanting them to do a full length book, haha.
But this was a great book! It wasn't as high angst as I'm used to reading from Kyla, but it actually worked. I'm a sucker for a good single parent, second chance book. This hit all the notes for me. It set me in the mood for the holidays!!! ...more

If you are looking for a quick and sweet holiday romance, A Wright Christmas is the book you are looking for.
A Wright Christmas is novella that will feature small glimpses of characters from the Wright Series but you do not need to read any of those to enjoy this one.
The blurb tells you exactly what you get in this story, so I won't bore you by repeating what the author tells you. What makes this story enjoyable is Isaac and persistence in showing Peyton he won’t be so easy to give up ...more

This was a sweet second chance Christmas story. It has a hot single dad, Isaac, and the girl who got away, Peyton, a ballerina. Peyton left Isaac behind in Texas years ago when she decided to pursue dancing in NYC. Now that she’s older she realizes what her priorities are and, just maybe, they include her high school sweetheart and his adorable daughter, Aly. This is a quick, holiday read about what truly matters in life. And we get cameos by some of our Wright family favorites! It was great to

I love how K.A. Linde does insta-love because it's not. Writing a novella is difficult and often when reading one you can tell it is rushed-- especially when it's brand new characters. Not with K.A. Linde. I loved how she created Isaac and Peyton's relationship and backstory. This created a lot of chemistry, angst and possibilities. Of course while this wasn't about a direct Wright family member, these two characters fit right into the mix and some of our favorite Wrights made an appearance.

What a wonderful quick read! Unfortunately, nothing too special, at least for me, but a very enjoyable read nonetheless.
As I'm translating the TV show Chesapeake Shores at the moment which is also about someone returning to their hometown after 16 years, it was a little too similar to that in a way. Had I read it before that, I might have rated it better. But 3.5 stars is still really good!

A Wright Christmas may have been on the short(ish) side, but K.A. Linde knocked it out of the park with this second chance story with Christmas magic sprinkled in. Peyton left Isaac when their dreams were going in different directions but she never got over him. She definitely made her dreams come true as she's now a principal ballerina, and she's come home to dance in The Nutcracker. The very first day home she runs into Isaac & his tiny human, as he's a single father now. That makes everything
