It has been a year since Dane, Mercury, and the Dragon kits had any unusual excitement, but that is all about to change. Houseguests- unexpected and possibly unwanted, but most definitely dangerous- invade their home. It takes family togetherness to meet the new challenge.

Damn, I love reading about their crazy family. The stories are simple, short and easy to read, but also really entertaining and sweet (with a violent edge)

Mercury and Dane mostly have their dragon kits under control. Mostly. When Dane’s mother descends on the family it’s all hands on deck to show her they are a family. The kits manage take some of the starch out of her sails. When more uninvited guest show up they bring danger with them.
The dragon inhabitants of the world created by this author are delightful. This book finally gave me the story I’ve been waiting for. The time jump wasn’t as drastic this time and the backstory was more filled in. ...more

It’s been too long since I read the last story in this series full of dragon shifters and their magic, witches, half gods, and evil scientists out to harness the dragons’ powers for nefarious purposes. Dane (half god and in charge of a supernatural detective agency) and his partner Mercury (dragon shifter and SupFed working with the FBSI) are raising the seven dragon kits they rescued from the labs amid a lot of mayhem such a varied group can cause. I loved finding out about their newest adventu

It’s a year after Dragon Deception and life in the Northeast territory is anything but quiet. Unless of course pancakes are about to be served, then silence can be deafening (laugh). Mell Eight needs to serve pancakes at my house when I get up to get my cats to be quiet.
This is a quieter mystery as there is plenty of in-house drama with Dane’s mother’s visit. There are also flashes into the past, but this could be because of something else in the house. (No spoilers here - laugh).

I received a copy of Dragon Dilemma by Mell Eight via IndiGo Marketing & Design in exchange for an honest review. One of the things I enjoy about this series is the way the author combines scenes and storylines set in the home life of Dane, Mercury, and their dragon kits with the overarching plotline of finding the villains who kidnap dragons. The story was fun because we got to meet Dane’s mother who turns out to be a dece

Still loving this series, along with Mercury and Dane’s adorable kits. There wasn’t as much of a time-span between Dragon Dilemma and Dragon Deception as there was between the first two books, so the littlest dragons in the family are still just as mischievous. (FYI – Lumie is still my favorite ❤ )
Things seem to have calmed down a bit since readers last spent time with this family, but it’s still chaotic. Dane and Mercury have fallen into a natural routine and seem to have things in control, wel ...more

This was a wonderful third installment in the Supernatural Consultants series and a great return to the story of Mercury and Dane as they continue to try and create a safe and loving home for the rescued kits. It's not easy, they are inundated with uninvited guests with hidden agendas. All in all an enjoyable addition to the series, I can't wait to read book four which follows Nickel.

I love this series and I liked this book.
Even if it's engrossing and entertaining I found it sometimes a bit too slow.
It was great to meet again the characters and I appreciated the plot.
Recommended.

Another adorable book in the Supernatural Consultant series!
I adore the world that the author has created, an almost-urban-fantasy setting, but with a much brighter world view. Not everything is perfect, of course, and there is definitely evil, but there is a sense of lightness and hope that makes this feel more like a full fantasy novel. The dragon kits are adorable and by this point, they pretty much all have distinct personalities. I love that we are getting more of them as they grow.

I love this series. It’s so cute, so easy to read and is a perfect tonic to less than perfect days. I know when I pick one up I’m going to get a little bit of exasperated Dane, some amused Mercury and plenty of dragon kit cuteness. Which is exactly what I got here.
Much though I enjoyed the last book, I missed spending time with this highly unusual family, so I was delighted by the fact the action rarely leaves Dane’s house here. All the kits are featured, and though I missed more Lumie ...more

Ah, book three of Mell Eight's Dragon Consultant series. Dane, Mercury and their brood of kids are back! This time...here comes the in-laws. Dane's mama isn't very nice, but I like how throughout all the drama, Dane and his true family, Mercury and the kits, stuck together. I love how protective they are of each other.

I've immensely enjoyed all the books in this series and this was no exception. The mystery is enough to make you wonder while still being light enough to be a light read. Always looking forward to reading more of this series!

Once again, Mell Eight delivers a too cute for words tale about Dane and Mercury and their large family of adopted dragon kits.
This third installment of the series veers away slightly from the “Quicksilver” storyline, and instead we are introduced to some other major players in the paranormal community. One of whom is Dane’s super witch mother, who turned up uninvited to meet her son’s new family.

A further year on, Lumie is still my favourite.
Daisy definitely deserves a medal for looking after Dane, Mercury and the kits and her own family.
We don't get any closer to finding out who is using dragon's to get the rogue magic but it does all come a bit closer to home.
The workings of territories and their boundaries are explained when a few of the other leaders think Dane has been encroaching on their territory - queue confrontations and the uncovering of nefarious plots. Though Jessica wa ...more

Loved it because of the writing, story and characters - hated it because it ended too soon. Mell Eight's writing drags me into the story and then pushes me out before I'm ready to go. I need long novels from this author.

Still way to undeveloped and bland as a whole. I wish it was better!

When Mell Eight was in high school, she discovered dragons. Beautiful, wondrous creatures that took her on epic adventures both to faraway lands and on journeys of the heart. Mell wanted to create dragons of her own, so she put pen to paper. Mell Eight is now known for her own soaring dragons, as well as for other wonderful characters dancing across the pages of her books. While she mostly writes
