Drained by the deadweight, an inescapable shadow born from grief, warring parents and the emptiness of having no sense of self, Nick attempts suicide while in an alcohol-fuelled rage. Shamed and fearful of damnation, he adopts another identity to cope, and soon loses himself in drugs, the occult and the pers

How many of us can ever say that we do not have some of the thoughts that Nick has shared? I found this book very insightful, allowing me to empathise with my friends and colleagues that have such issues but with the students that I teach who often fin ...more
