I don't normally enjoy short stories because I like lots of info and details! But as far as short stories go, Cait's story "Choosing You" is pretty solid. Two time jumps help move the story along, showing the characters' growth without having to spend precious word count on it. She incorporated the challenge theme and phrase seamlessly into the story. I would have enjoyed a deeper steampunk world building, but again, this was a short story, so it satisfies. (Cait, if you take this short story and turn it into a novel, I know you'll do an awesome job worldbuilding!) If you like HEA, steampunk, historical, sci-fi, romance, with a bit of intrigue and suspense...this story has them all! A quick read I definitely recommend.

I have not read all the stories in this book but the one I did read was Choosing You by Cait Marie. I really loved it and thought it was a perfect little story!
