This was just fun. I read it in a sitting. Everyone likes a smart chic girl with a poodle for a sleuth. You know how after a while you and your pet begin to know what the other is thinking? Well that’s what this is about. Maybe a little more fictitious than that, but it sure is cute. I also found it humorous that you get a POV from the poodle’s mind too.

This is a feel-good read. It is also Book 1 of a series title “The Mimi series”. Hope there’s another.

ThiS is the first book in a delightful new series about Mimi, a black poodle living in Paris. It details her adventures as she experiences Paris. It is a cute, easy-to-read, story that should appeal to animal lovers of all ages.

Badly and simplistically written it does not hold your interest. None of the characters have any discernable personalities and even the dog hero is a bore and too precious to be liked or cared about. This was received as a Goodreads giveaway.
