Welcome to Evermore Academy where the magic is dark, the immortals are beautiful, and being human SUCKS.

After Hellebore Narcissus exposed my secret, he claimed me as his, a pawn in a deadly Faerie game I’m only just beginning to understand.

Now, I’m caught in a complex web of bloodthirsty courts, ancient feuds, and the lust for ultimate power. To expose Hellebore and reco

Wow. That was... a massive let down. Holy shit.

There were a handful of chapters that delivered exactly what I signed up for and more... but most of them didn’t. Most of them left me groaning and dreading the next. I thought it was getting better halfway through, but that was a fluke.

Damn, that’s really disappointing. This is the first series in... possibly ever that I’ve followed so closely. I was there for the release of the second book, and eagerly awaited the release of this one. I had a damn

So this was a series I really remember enjoying. It wasn’t perfect, still I liked book 1 and 2 a lot, but it’s been a year since I’ve read them and now I don’t remember anything that happened. ^…^
(this was pre-goodreads)

I might consider giving it a reread, but otherwise not sure if I want to pick this up anymore.

An average finish to an outstanding series

You know the feeling you start off a race too strong and by the end your muscles are frozen and stiff and your body won’t listen and you basically feel like a pile of mush, hoping to get to the finish line.

That is how this series felt. Books one and two are fantastic but book three fell apart.

I hate giving a poor review to one of my favorite authors and favorite series (the first two books will always have a place in my heart) but I can’t lie either.

It's always so bittersweet when a series you absolutely adore comes to an end. This was a great ending to a great story! I'll miss Summer and the gang- especially Ruby. They'll forever have a special little place in my heart! ...more

A million stars! This whole series was perfect. I'm sad there isn't more but the ending made sense and you aren't left hanging.

10/10 going to reread and reread this series until forever.

Audrey Grey’s Evermore Academy is definitely a new favourite series of mine. The Summer year is the third and final book in this series and it does not disappoint! Evermore Academy: Summer takes place after the Evermore Academy: Spring finale. Summer is bonded by contract to Hellebore and sequestered to her new home until the new year at the academy starts. She has minimal visits allowed with Eclipsa, Asher, and Mack; and no contact at all allowed by Valerian, the Winter Prince. In fact, if Vale ...more

**To be honest, I'm not sure what people are classing as spoilers these days...I don't personally feel like I've let any loose, but I've seen a few comments around, that has me super cautious/nervous. So there could be potential spoilers, depending on your meaning of that. So I guess just be aware of that before reading.

Be prepared for the Ramble up ahead. It's no joke. No kidding. It's long lol.

Holy damn. I need a moment to wrap my mind around all this!! It's the second day after finishing th

Where to begin, I don’t even know where too start but my expectations for the ending of this trilogy were high. In the first two books I found myself relatable to Summer as she was some vigilant creature that despite the trouble, took whatever life dealt her like a true queen. In this story however I found myself surprisingly underwhelmed by the lack of character Summer had in the first two. She was bland, she was a pawn, a puppet too the very end and that alone had me seething. Her mere existen ...more

This was an entertaining conclusion that wrapped up all of the loose ends of this trilogy. Personally I struggled with the pacing throughout this book. Some parts were rushed while other scenes felt drawn out. I also struggled with the ending overall. Everything was wrapped up in two chapters and a lot of what happened didn't match the characters I have been reading about. I still enjoy Valerian and Summer, but sadly this was my least favorite in the series. ...more

I am undecided about this book

I love the characters but I feel like this was not the epic finale I was expecting. It was somewhat dissapointing. I will read more by this author though becuase I really like the way she writes her characters

This series made me start reading for pleasure again. Specifically got me back into fantasy, so it will always have a special place in my heart. That being said, I was kinda let down by this final installment.

This book had a lot of cute moments between the Winter Prince, Valerian, and Summer, which had me swooning. I always love the side characters: Mack, Asher, and Eclipsa. I would have loved a bunch of side scenes of Mack and Asher. The gym scene was so cute. A lot of what I loved in

I was excited about this book, then I opened it and read that it was the final book and got disappointed. Then I started reading it and it was all over the place, felt rushed and nothing made sense. One moment there are rules about what she can and can’t do, and the next chapter those are ignored. Something needs to happen, so it just magically happens without propped build up.

I still found it an easy book to just read away so that is why I decided on 3 stars.

Was good, was okay, everything conveniently fell into place, the twists at the end were so far off from being possible? But okay.

My goodness! I can't believe the Evermore Academy came to an end. And I don't want it to☹️. Yeah, I got addicted to these arrogant, wicked Fae folks. Audrey Grey please I want a spin off of this series like real quick... A girl can have her hopes 🤞😇

This book begins a little bit after the second book closes. Summer is still struggling to get out of her engagement with Hellebore and Valerian is going crazy without having his mate. I enjoyed how the story evolved. I read this in one sitting and was happy with the pacing/amount of action.

I do wish we were shown a bit more of the side characters. I'm so interested in what's going to happen with Eclipsa and Mack, but their individual story lines/relationships weren't fully developed or

Just... Why???

I was struggling between giving this book 2 stars or 3 stars, but ultimately gave it the higher rating because it felt wrong to do such an amazing series dirty like that. I was so disappointed with the author’s choices. She did AMAZING writing the past two books, so when she said she felt it should end with the 3rd book instead of the 4th, I decided to trust that she knew what she was doing. But alas, I was only 30% into the book and already knew things were going south. The story

The author stated that she was planning on 4 books but ended her story with just 3. I am a little upset that there won’t be all seasons in the series but I was okay with that if that was where the story ended.

But it felt like 90% of the book was good pacing and there was a point it could have ended for a good cliffhanger. But then she summed up what could have been another book, in the last 10% of the book.

I liked where it was going with Hellebore’s sister and the story could have been expanded

I just finished the series and I’m in a bit of a book trance so bear with me...

This is one of my all time fav series but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that this third book was a bit of a let down. I loved the story and the growth of the characters, particularly Valerian, but I needed more...

I feel like as soon as the Darken was dealt with the story just ended. We got one chapter of closure With a line or two dedicated to most of the main characters to tell us what they were doing now but that w

Y’all, I was so excited to read this book. Audrey Grey is great at getting you invested in her characters and the world building is stunning.. that being said, Summer ended up being the final book in the Evermore Academy series and, though Grey did a phenomenal job with wrapping up, it still left me wanting… just a little. I wanted to know more, to see more of the characters endgame (*ahem…cough* Mack and Dragon Boy… Eclipsa and literally anyone).

Once again, Grey managed to play with my emotions

Incredible! Mind-blowing! Adrenaline surging! Heart pumping! Emotionally triggering. Unbelievably addictive! These are just some of the words that I would use to describe such a wonderful series!

I started this series before the beginning of the first lockdown and it was so good I have had to read it again and again and again. Audrey one of the most amazing authors I have ever read and she makes it hard to hand out 5 star reviews to very many authors.

Wrapped up nice and neatly - Spoiler Alert!

I’m torn about this one. On one hand, there are strong core characters who are locked a struggle between good and evil. But isn’t always clear whether the evil characters are actually evil or just hurt, bitter and conflicted seeking revenge on those who have harmed them.

This was book three of what was originally slated to be a four book series. I can understand the need to end it here and not carry it over, but the horrible climax where all the bad peo

Holy Guacamole!! The book was the finale, It was long but exciting. I got to see through the eyes of Valerian Silverforst's eyes how he experiences pains because of the absence of Summer and the mate bond thing.
It starts with Summer getting a four-year-long sentence to go to Evermore Academy because she stole a fruit. It was issued by The winter prince aka Valerian. Eventually, we get to know that Summer is the reincarnation of the Summer prince that Valerian once loved. They ended up tolerating

First this series was amazing and so complex with a ton to it.
Second, I loved this book. I loved the characters, the dramatics, the battle of witts and eventually the ending even if one could say it is both a happy and a sad ending.
Third Ruby remains my favorite.
Fourth while everything about this book was fantastic I couldn’t give it 5 stars as it did feel quite daunting when you reached the last portion of the book.

I'm a bit torn on this one. While great, I think it was slow in places but also glossed over some important bits. Overall I think a 4th book could have refined the story a lot more. It felt a bit unfinished/rushed with the ending.
This one had a lot less action than the last two. We need to marinate in all the and inrigue action a bit more! The twists we got thrown were to quickly addressed... in the span of a few pages it was multiple twists and multiple fixes. Ugh! As much as I originally want
