My passion is to give students the ability to think computationally, a skill that will enable them to program effectively, solve a wide range of problems and make them much more resilient.

I have been working in computing since 1998, firstly in the industry and now in education. Along the way I have published a number of books, journal articles and written for Linux User.

My speaking engagements have included the very first Raspberryjam at Cambridge University, ISTE, Scratch Day East, Google Singapore, BETT, EARCOS, 21st Century Learning and I arrange the KL Teachmeets.

I am a long time member of Computing At School and founder of the South East Asia Computer Science Teachers Association. (SEACSTA) I am also an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Innovator, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, a fellow of Mirandanet and am 21st Century's Teacher of the year 2014.
