Darla worked at a local bar, The Neon Palm, in Tucson but she could never feel comfortable in her job, she was always looking over shoulder. You see, Darla is running away from a abusive marriage, so abusive that Darla had to shoot her husband, Ted Adams, in self defense. Did she kill them ? Well, she thought she had but now Ted ends up dead in her apartment. Who killed Ted & why ? Yes, quite a twist to this story but more is yet to come !!

Darla embarks on a quest to find out who killed her husband because the only suspect the police have is Darla. Her neighbor, Lucas “Luke” Ware who believes Darla, helps her and together they find out many things. But I will not tell you everything that happens, hopefully you will read this fantastic book. I really liked the twists and turns in this story. The Neon Palm has a very suspenseful storyline that keeps us readers interested the whole entire time.

I liked the setting in a bar In Tucson and the red neck characters also that she found a law officer she could trust and her blind lawyer friend. A fun read following a gutsy woman back to Florida to redeem herself! A little frightening to anticipate what she stirs up!

Great story

I have now read all 12 of the bullet books. I very much enjoyed the mystery and the love story, too. You can read the synopsis on Amazon, so I will just say grab this one!
