I f*@ked up when I killed that senator. I thought I was uncovering some dirty secrets. But the things I uncovered could kill millions. Lives are at stake, but none of that matters to me. Not when they've taken my wife. They held a gun to her head. Now they'll all die. I won't stop until I take them all out. Until she's back in my arms. Then I have to walk away. My family isn't safe as long as I'm in their lives. Sometimes to protect the ones you love, you have to walk away.
I'm a stay at home mom with a love for romance novels. There's nothing better than reading about a hot, alpha male that makes my heart swoon. I spend most days hanging out with my kids or writing about my next book boyfriend. I love crocheting, sewing, reading, and being outdoors, but in the end, there is nothing better than getting lost in a good book!

A deadly virus, kidnapping, torture, assassinations, the president and romance!
Such a great ending to the series. This continuing story was basically part two to the last book, though the last book was centering around Parker and Blake’s romance and though this one did include them, it was more about Knight and his wife Kate. I started this series at book 21 (Rocco), so I hadn’t read Knight and Kate’s original story but I had picked up enough about Knight to be really interested in him.
I actually can’t wait now to read their story, but I really want to go back and start at the first book and read them in order. Knights story is book 4, so I won’t have to wait too long, but finding the time is the issue. Knight is interesting because we know that he is a former assassin that had to fake his death and change his identity when he went to work at Reed Security. Though he was an assassin, he was a good guy that killed bad people, sort of a Dexter that was paid for the jobs he did.
He took down cartels, gangs, and pedophiles so he has a lot of enemies and he never thought he was good enough for Kate. The story in this book really began in the book Nightingale when Knight killed Senator Blakely for abusing the kid (Reid) who Florrie and Alec took in. Knight found some documents in Blakely’s safe and in the last book those documents led to Senator Cortez. Knight had Parker break in to Cortez’s house and that is where Parker met Blake as she was also looking into Cortez.
It turns out that Cortez and a bunch of other Senators are working together in some sort of conspiracy to create a super virus and they know that Hudson Knight is really the assassin Garrick Knight, so Cortez had some guys kidnap Knight’s wife Kate. While Blake’s former boss at the FBI arrested both her and Parker. The FBI is also planning to come to Reed security with a search warrant to look forward the journal that Blake and Parker stole from Cortez which details the plans for the virus.
So all the good guys are in trouble and there is so much going on in this book. The bad guys have a bunch of power and of course they are all corrupt as politicians usually are. There is so much suspense and intrigue that I was on the edge of my seat for most of the book. It seemed that just when you think everything is going to work out, that something else happens.
As with most of the other books in this series, there are steamy moments, though not as many in this book as in some of the others, but that is ok since this is a series ending and sometimes in the series endings, too many steamy moments get a bit sappy. For me at least. Also like the other books, there is humor and in this one, a lot of the former supporting cast returns for cameo appearances. This was a fun one to read and I liked the fact that so much of it was like a thriller, but there was also romance and nostalgia. And the last twenty percent of the book was utterly hilarious.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
One Heart Wrenching Rip Roaring Slam Bang Emotional Roller Coaster Series Finale ~~ Loved it!!!
Before you start this intense non-stop emotional action thriller series finale do the following: 1) Visit the restroom 2) Eat a hearty meal 3) Have a pitcher of your favorite beverage 4) Have LOTS of snacks within easy reach 5) Tell EVERYONE else in the home to LEAVE ME ALONE 6) Turn off your phone 7) Get VERY comfortable Now, go ahead & start this book. Ms. Lagomarsino, IMO, has not only written an awesome book, she has done her readers proud. Most readers of a series have their personal 'fave' H/h's & if the characters are cameoed/featured in other books along the course of the series we get to see them grow through their appearances (brief or otherwise) in subsequent featured H/h books. And I love that. And in this finale Ms. Lagomarsino doesn't disappoint her readers. AT ALL. And my personal FAVE MAIN Reed Security man is Knight. Such a tortured, anguished, lethal man always a blink away from his inner coldly raging monster & sliding back into the dark. And while 'GoodKnight' features & includes most if not all of the Reed Security family, IMO this is predominantly Knight's stage. And man, oh man, he is written PERFECTLY. If your heart went out to him before, in this your heart will be shredded for him. Ms. Lagomarsino so wonderfully writes Knight with such deft skill, she made me ACHE for this man & the damage his past has wrought on his mind & heart. Ache for how despite his cold aloof dismissive persona, internally he doesn't think he 'deserves' love, friends, loyalty from others. And only one person has managed to keep his monster & his darkness contained: the only woman he has ever loved (or will ever) in his UBER INTENSE uniquely Knight way is his wife Kate. This one features a huge & horrifying conspiracy that reaches the highest levels & branches of government as well as the FBI & has terrifying potential ramifications. It features a spark that reignites Knight's inner rage & lethal revenge & plunges him so deep into his inner darkness he may never be pulled back. And even Pappy, his best longtime friend & former military brother fears for Knight's sanity & life. The finale Ms. Lagomarsin has crafted includes all her signature features: excellent writing that pulls a reader into the characters & plot effortlessly; smooth flow of plot that never jolts the reader out of the world into which they've entered; delicate but deep character scenes that make the reader tear up, laugh, smile, gasp, put a lump in our throat, leave us breathless & make us CARE so much for these people. Reed Security has been a long, wonderful, precious (to me) series with a cast of marvelously imagined & written characters of every temperament & personality, each unique, intriguing & ultimately endearing in their own way. And while I am truly saddened this is the last of this series, Ms. Lagomarsino ensured the crew goes out with their trademark bang, flair, laughs & panache. An absolutely perfect finale.
And to Ms. Lagomarsino: Thank you for the series & for a finale that does your characters, your writing, & especially, your readers, PROUD.

This last book the Reed Security series is bittersweet. It's a brilliant ride from beginning to end but the end result is, losing some characters that I almost know better than I do my own family!
It's a ride of emotions. I cried, laughed, cried some more and then I was plain sad, because I finished the book and therefore the series. I don't want to give anything away, but if you've read the rest of the books in this series, you need to read this one. It finished it off in a rounded and appropriate way.
Like I said, it's bittersweet, but Giulia has done the end of the Reed Security guys and girls justice and for that reason, I love this book.

Spoilers spoilers. But if you've made it this far into the series, you've already read the previous books so the spoilers won't ALL be very shocking (not that the new spoilers are shocking really, but you know what I mean).
I read the first couple books and they went downhill for me... then back up and down and up and down. However, throughout this series, Knight has been my favorite character. I loved his book, I loved his character overall. The reformed assassin who loves Kate with his whole heart and who grumbles every time he has to get together with people, but, as noted in a couple of the books, he secretly likes them. So I was expecting a better story for him in this book. To where he really came around even more so. But I was disappointed.
While the book does a pretty good job of wrapping everything up overall, I didn't like the turn that Knight's character took. He left Kate. That's not okay. For everything that he went through and everything that he did to be with her, for him to just walk away the way he did, was not what I pictured his character doing. I did like that Hunter stuck with him as his friends throughout everything and went after him. But Kate definitely got the brunt of the bad stuff In this book. And he blamed himself. And decided that She was better off without him. Yes, sure, eventually he came back. But he should never have left in the first place. His character was very weak in this one which I didn't find consistent with any of the other stories.
I've just been glad that nobody else has lost their lives or limbs at this point. Lol And while this is the last book in the series it looks like there's some other manual that is next as well to read with the same people. And since I do like the characters overall, though not in this book for Knight, I will check it out as well.
It looked like there was another book with Cole and Alex's story which might be interesting too because they do show up especially at the end of this one more often. So we'll see. But overall, I wouldn't really recommend the series unless you can't find anything else to read.
I got a kick out of the kids kicking butt in this book too. So I guess there was that. Maybe it's a 3.5 star as opposed to just three. But with a night being my favorite character the entire time, and then suddenly he's portrayed as this very weak person who doesn't like anyone, doesn't think he fits in and claims to only go to events because of Kate... I don't know. It just didn't fit him. He's so meticulous and he even lost that in this book after leaving Kate. Sigh. And then I didn't feel like he ever really truly saw how he really was family. And that just bothers me. Because The impression that I had from before was that he did feel it with Reed Security and that he found his place with them and with Kate. But the last book here, tried to wipe that all away. Not cool, man.
I just looked up all of my ratings for this entire book series and overall, it gets 3.5 stars for an average. And I just don't feel like that's very good.
For anyone interested, books 1-26 (yes, including this book), are rated as follows: 5, 4, 3, 5, 2, 3, 5, 5, 4, 2, 5, 4, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 1, 4, 4, 3, 1, 4, 5, 3.
My favorites (5 stars) were Sinner, Knight, Whiskey, Lola, Gabe, and Parker.
My least favorites (1 star) were Wolf and TNT. They got one star by default.
Burg and Irish were the 2 stars and the others make up the 3-4 stars.
So yeah... They had a lot of promise but overall the series just wasn't that great.
This story tore me apart, shredded my heart and then put everything back together and healed me by the end. It was an emotional roller coaster.
Garrick Knight is a man that lives by his morals and that is ridding the world of criminals that hurt kids and women. He can take out a target like a cartel member, government official if they are a danger to society or a group of senators that are plotting to kill a large amount of people to gain political power. The targets won’t even see him coming until it’s too late, but this time he’s on a mission because this group of Senators messed with his wife and destroyed him in the process. He doesn’t see himself as a good man, but Kate, his wife is his light and with his light gone, his darkness will prevail, but will the family at Reed Security be able to bring him back in time and convince him that Kate is alive and still needs him?
This story was a roller coaster ride for me of anger, sadness, and despair for Knight and the Reed Security family. Knight is the member of the family that trains all of the new recruits to be stealthy, deadly, and dangerous, but when his family is broken his old life comes back to him and he won’t stop hunting until those that destroyed him are put down. His darkness takes over and he is a completely different man. I loved the story and I love the characters of Reed Security and when Knight was falling apart, I felt every bit of his anguish. There is a lot going on in this final story of Reed Security and I loved every bit of it. The crazy things that Maggie does, the family bickering, teasing, and shenanigans that are pulled. Craig and his connection to Alec and Florrie, and their part in this last story was great! These men and women love hard and work hard. They will go to any lengths to keep their loved ones safe and protected, as is proven with the panic room on the property. Throughout the story I was on edge wondering how things were going to turn out, but by the end of the story, I was laughing at the way this large family were with each other and I loved every bit of it. I loved chapters fifty-six, fifty-seven and fifty-eight, they were hilarious and show how this group of misfits truly are a family.
I give this story a 5-star review and while I am sad to see the series end, I am hoping for maybe a next generation series? There are a lot of kids in this family and some of them really deserve their own stories as well. Especially Caitlin and Vittoria. I highly recommend this book and this series to readers who enjoy stories of security groups, large families, sexy men and their crazy women, and the fierce love they have with each other.
GoodKnight is book 26 and is the finale to the Reed Security series. Throughout this series we have been introduced to the many men and women of Reed Security. While this book is centered around Knight, the rest of the characters that we know, and love have their parts. This is also the conclusion to book 25 - Parker - so if you have not read that book, I recommend you start with that book before reading this one first, as this book is tied to and brings closure to the issues that started with Parker and Blake.
Let me start off by saying that this book, like all others in this series, will leave you hungry to turn the page while at the same time dreading it as you know it will take you closer to the end. Giulia has an amazing talent to keep readers engaged in the story. It is completely action packed, sprinkled with laughter (as only the team at Reed Security can do), and heart-wrenching leaving you in tears. The tears were freely flowing for me with this book, as Knight has been my book-husband since the fourth book of the series, when we first got his story. He has always done what he could to keep Kate (his wife) safe and this time he failed, and she was kidnapped. The only way he feels he can protect Kate and their children, is to leave them. First, he will have to rescue her first, in the only way Knight knows how...which is deadly. Will he get to her in time? If so, does he stick to his plan and leave (and live happily ever after with me....LOL), or will he finally let go of the past and stay with Kate and his family? Will Reed Security survive this? I assure you that all your questions will be answered, and you will NOT be disappointed with this story and series closure. Another outstanding book...do not hesitate. Just make sure you set aside enough time to read because you will not want to put this one down! Recommend a strong drink and tissues as well!

The story has laughs, suspense, guilt, pain, and action.
If you have not read the below, I would recommend reading those books(s) first Sinner (A Reed Security, #1) Cap (A Reed Security, #2) Cazzo (Reed Security, #3) Knight (Reed Security, #4) Irish (Reed Security, #5) Hunter (Reed Security #6) Whiskey (Reed Security, #7) Lola (Reed Security, #8) Ice (Reed Security #9) Burg: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #10) Gabe: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #11) Jules (Reed Security #12) Sniper: Book 1 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #13) Jackson: Book 2 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #14) Chance: Book 3 of a 3 book arc (Reed Security #15) Phoenix Rising (Reed Security #16) Alec (Reed Security #17) Storm (Reed Security #18) Wolf (Reed Security #19) A Mad Reed Security Christmas (Reed Security, #20) Rocco (Reed Security #21) Coop (Reed Security #22) TNT (Reed Security, #23) Nightingale (Reed Security, #24) Parker (Reed Security, #25)
This is more of Kate and Knight’s story. Corrupt politicians, bad guys all around it seems like a typical day for the Reed Security team. But this just might be the end. Secrets are out that could take them all down. Lots of suspense and danger not only lurking but breaking out around them. You get peeks at really a lot of the characters from the series. But is this truly the end for some of them? They have all survived so much only to lose in the end. Or will they finally get rid of the bad to have a whole future together with all the security guys?
I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Very emotional story that will have several triggers for some. But all and all it was a great story.
*Spoilers* OMG what a rollercoaster of a journey. This is the final book in the Reed Security set. To say they go out with a bang is an understatement. Kate gets kidnapped all because of Knights past. Knight is led to believe Kate is dead, so he goes on a rampage killing senators in the most blood curdling ways. Kate is alive but things dont turnout as expected. Once Kate is found Knight decides to leave, making sure Kate and kids are safe. Until FBI Agent Dennick shows up and asks to speak to Kate he injects her with the virus. There then is a race against time to find the antidote. Sinner goes into the building to retrieve the vaccine, in true Reed style the building collapsed on him. Everyone believes he is dead until he turns up at the hospital. Kate recovers. In the meantime The President has become involved, giving Parker his honourable discharge, offers Blake a new job but they both want to move on and live in Montana. The end of the story doesn't go quite as you would imagine, A tank arrives sending everyone to get their guns, OPS calls during a bbq sending them all off on another job including Florrie who is 9months pregnant and goes into labour in the middle of a fight. Craig is having a sympathetic pregnancy. Alec loses it revealing that he and Florrie are married. There is also afew more pregnancies revealed and maybe a waxing along the way. You will not be disappointed with this book. Sad to see the end of this series. But I'm sure in true Giulia style the next set of books will be explosive.

As sad as I am to see this series end, Giulia did an excellent job with the well written and thought out storyline for the final book. We all know the characters in this series are well developed, intense, fierce in battle, protective, work hard and love harder and completely. Hudson Knight a former assassin found the love of his life when Kate (a doctor) came into his life. Their journey to love and happiness was a long one. When Knight uncovers a plot that several senators, a high ranking FBI agent and a presidential candidate plan to unleash a “deadly virus” on the nation, he can’t sit by and let it happen. With the help of Parker, Blake and other team members they formulate a plan to stop the greedy and evil men and women. Get ready for a roller coaster ride and grab the Kleenex for this emotionalLily charged story. There’s so much going on within this plot, twists and turns, false arrests, attacks on Reed Security Complex, deceit, a kidnapping, Suspense, a video assassination, a broken man who is driven by revenge and blames himself for not protecting his wife and heartbreak. True to Giulia’s form of writing, she throws in humor along the way and reminders of past antics and pranks played on team members which was truly up-lifting. I will miss reading about these wonderful men and their families. My all time favorites are Knight, Sinner and Sebastian’s stories but loved the others too. Thanks Giulia for a great series full of suspense and entertainment.

I discovered the Reed Security series very late in the series. I can honestly say I have had some of my best laughs reading these books. The whole fanny pack scene from Nightingale sticks out as particularly hilarious. Not to mention Craig, who is always with Alec and Florrie, he's got me in stitches every time he opens his mouth.
Good Knight, though, is the story of Knight, who is trying to the right wrongs and protect his family. Mainly his wife, Kate, who was kidnapped at the end of Parker. His devotion to Kate is emotional to read about, and it drives his motivations and actions all through the book. Knight is a unique character with a highly specialized skill set that he is not afraid to use to reach his goals. In many ways, I felt like I was reading about a dark superhero in how he accomplished what he set out to do. It was really cool. I loved Knight, and I liked his methods. I did not enjoy his hard-headedness, but no one is perfect. And he did wise up by the end.
I'm very torn about this being the ending, but I realize some of the characters are getting older, and a younger generation needs to take over. So I am hopeful Giulia Lagomarsino might pull out some of the guys' kids to carry on---particularly Vittoria. My recommendation is to start at the beginning of the series and get to know this crew of brothers in arms who can go from hard-core kick butt to comedy in a flash and their true loves. You won't regret it.
What a way to end the Reed Security series.........FANTASTIC!!!
FLIPPIN' FANTASTIC!!!
This entire series is just one great story after another by an author that can tell a story that is powerful, imaginative, suspenseful, emotional, has action, violence, romance and so much more. Even in this last book in the Reed Security series, the 26th, she has not disappointed and instead "brought it".
Be warned that you have to read Parker first as GoodKnight is a continuation of the story. But his book centers on Knight and his lethal and personal moral code. He is a man that will not think twice to kill those that definitely deserve it. But yet he has another side in the form of his wife Kate. She soothes him and helps to keep his darkness locked up. But when she is taken in retribution for something that he did the darkness is let out of the box and let's just say that anyone in his way is in for a very rough ride and more than a few bullets.
This is a really well written book with a mesmerizing story-line that sucks you in from the first page and keeps you hanging on until the very last word. The characters are well developed and multi-faceted. GoodKnight and the Reed Security series is one that I highly recommend to other readers. Once you try it you will be hooked.
So this is the last book in the Reed Security series and I tried to delay this as long as I could because I was not ready for it to end. But like all good things, even this amazing series must come to an end and what a spectacular ending it was.
This book revolves around Knight's need to get his wife Kate back, also while trying to save the world. This book is so different from the previous books because it essentially is mirroring what is happening in today's world with this pandemic.
Giulia gives us a new side to Knight, the more human side. Before this, I always thought that Knight was this superhero type character. He was the type to kick ass and take names. But I forgot that he's also human with as much doubts and fears as the rest of the guys, it's just that he didn't show it. And when Kate went missing, he channeled all of that into his quest to get her back.
Kate had always been strong, but it's in this book you actually get to see just how strong she is and you also get to see that she is a bit of a bad ass as well.
There were some moments that had me screaming, and some that had me sobbing as well. But all in all this was the perfect end to a perfect series.

I've been really having a hard time with GoodKnight, as I've read almost every last book (with the exception of one Christmas novella) so ending my very favorite series of all time has been bittersweet. I mean, I knew it would be because I've been here since that very first book, and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do now. Parker (the previous book) ended on a crazy as all hell cliffy, and while Parker ended up in some trouble, Knight's wife Kate, was kidnapped so the lethal assassin will burn the world down trying to find her. There were so many twists & turns with a few HUGE ones really doing me in, like b*t*h baby tears flowing doing me in, so when I could catch my breath, I would drop loud f-bombs per usual. Just when I had to wonder if I was going to get any sort of the original crazy humor that only the Reed Security folks could provide, BAM! It was there bigger than ever, making the b*t*h baby tears became the type of eye leakage from laughing so hard. Everyone was present for the finale, and I'm so sad to say goodbye but I do know that Ms. Lagomarsino is absolutely brilliant so I'm 100% sure that I'll love anything she releases. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Holy hell I never want this series to end but boy is it going out with a bang. I have never cried so much reading a book and am so going to be puffy eyed for days but you know what I wouldn't give that up. I'm so not going to give anything away or even try to explain what happened because if you haven't read past books you will surely miss what the he'll is going on aswell as the bond these guys and girls have and how with each book they pull at your own heart strings and have you rooting for the best outcome. Giulia you really killed it with these guys I can only hope to be able to read and review your next work. Love that this book included my given name at the time I was so not impressed I was shocked wishing it would have been a smoking hot chick or even a bad as that worked for Reed that it was associated too but when the ending came around I was just chuffed it was in the book that ended a much loved series. If you have never read Giulia and are thinking of starting you can not go past Reed Security.
So we have been following the Reed Security series now for 25 books and it is with sadness that it has come to an end with this last installment GoodKnight. I really shouldn't have worried though as Giulia has definitely left her best until last.
This book follows on from where Parker left off and you really need to read that first, however it will make far more sense if you have read all 25 books.
The book contains everything from kidnapping, political interference, biological viruses, explosions, the President and even waxing and vasectomy (you really will have to read it to believe it!)
GoodKnight is a complete roller coaster emotional ride that will have you laughing and mostly crying all the way through. For those that have read other books of the Reed Security series I can definitely say you will see Knight in a very different light after this book.
Guilia thank you for a wonderful series and I cannot wait to go onto the next.

Kate has been kidnapped and Reed Security goes into overdrive trying to locate her. After Kate is kidnapped Reed Security calls in all their contacts and resources to try and locate her but once she is transferred to another vehicle they lose her track of her so start searching back wards to try and find a link. Meanwhile Parker and blade have been caught by Dirty FBI Agent Dennick and taken an illegal holding facility where they are both tortured for information. After seeing blood and a dead body in Kate&'s office Knight is barely in control and could go off at the slightest push. The more the men of Reed Security find out the deeper the plot goes into the higher levels of government and the more out of control the situation seems but then something send Knight into uncontrolled rage and to was with those they are seeking. This is the last book in the Reed Security Series and a fitting end to this high octane saga.

Wow, what an ending! This is the final instalment of the series. 26 books - wow! I hate that it’s over but I can’t wait to see what’s next. This story is one of my favs -It’s about Garrick Knight, a man with a moral compass that points true north. He spends his time ridding the world of the evil criminals that hurt kids and women. He can take out a target like a cartel member, government official if they are a danger to society or a group of senators that are plotting to kill a large amount of people to gain political power. The targets won’t even see him coming until it’s too late. His target made the mistake of hurting his wife and that destroyed him. Kate, his wife was his reason for living, his life’s breath and now he believes she’s gone but fingers crossed the author will have his Reed Security family bring him back to the light in time to convince him that Kate is alive and still needs him. Wow, outstanding!

Anyone foolish enough to take on the family of an assassin should be prepared for the fallout
Knight is a reaper if justice and vengeance. Somewhere along the way, he went from being a mostly solo operator to a few trusted friends, to being an integral part of the Reed Security family
An unique assembly of quirky and lethal characters, they fo their best to stand up for right things and help others do the same
Along the way, romances and friendships are forged and tested
The world might be a little safer because of those wild and wacky warriors.
I would have loved their training center as a child. As a reader, I look forward to the possibilities for reading about the antics of the next generations. As a former camp counselor and youth group leader, I am glad not to have had the crazy kids in my groups. They sound like liability insurance would be hard to maintain around them.
This book is the sequel to the author's book, Parker, and ends the Reed Security Series. Parker should be read first but it helps to have read some of the others as well, if not all of them. Good Knight does the best in the whole series (which I have read all 26 books now) in describing the tender inner feelings of the main characters as they face many dangers and the possible loss of their loved ones. There are realistic tragedies, some of which are very hard to read, and HUGE decisions that must be faced, which the author doesn't shy away from describing, and that makes for a good ending to a great series. And there are STILL some incredibly humorous lines, as in the other books, even in the midst of the tough situations being faced in this book. I highly recommend it and ALL the books in this series!

This is the 26th book in this phenomenal series and is also the finale book, and what a whammy this story is! This is the 2nd part of Parker’s story but concentrates more on Knight who is a former assassin who had to fake his own death and change his identity when he joined Red Security. Even though he is tortured and lethal his wife Kate is his calm and keeps his monsters at bay, but when he kills a senator for abusing a child a can of worms is opened, and Kate is kidnapped in retaliation, the beast in him is unleashed. This is an amazing story which is an emotional roller coaster throughout, as well as being raw, gritty, heart-wrenching, intense, and powerful. This gifted author has done an outstanding job in penning this phenomenal series. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to see what this talented author brings to us next. I highly recommend this author’s work for all readers.
OMG what an ending! This is part two and continues the storyline from the previous book. From the beginning, you will need to hang onto your hats and prepare for a wild ride. Knight is the man that trains the new recruits to be covert and lethal. In his past life he was an assassin who only killed those that deserved it. He has his own moral code and when he came to work for Reed Security, he changed his identity but maintained his necessary skillset in order to deal with some unsavory characters. There is so much going on in this book that you must read it for yourself. It will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering how things are going to play out. It begs the question; how far will one go to keep those one loves safe? Once again, other team members make an appearance that adds to the drama. This is one storyline and series that you will fall in love with. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.
It is so sad to say goodbye to all these characters. I will miss all of them. GoodKinght is the last book in this series and you should read the books in order to follow along what has really happen before picking up this book. I have love hate relationship when it comes to Knight. I love how he protects Kate and his family but at the same time I what him to really look at himself say they that he is worth all the love Kate and his family gives him. This book has a little bit of everything from what the hell to you just want to cry and say hell no that did not happen. I thought this was a prefect way to end this series. As much as I am going to miss all these characters I am looking forward to Ms. Lagomarsion's next book. There is just too much to really say about this book with giving anything away so I am going to leave my review with just saying if you have been waiting for the end like I have you definitely do not want to miss out on this book!!
Why does Knight freak out at the opening of this story? We're talking in just the first two pages opening! Why is Reed security on lockdown... again?!?!?! What happens to Parker? Where do we find him getting taken to? What is happening with Blake? What is FBI Agent Dennick after? OMG... Vittoria is a hoot and a half! Oh lord, as this story gets more involved, we meet some new players, Barret, Adam, and Tristan. We see Arrington make an appearance as well. I am so angry at Knight and his self-righteous code that breaks his wife and children. There is stuff to cry about, be angry about, and most definitely to laugh about in this story. What a heck of an ending to an even more incredible series! I cannot wait for the next series!

This is the twenty-sixth book in the Reed Security series and I hate to say it but the last one in the series. First off, this is a phenomenal series to read. Each book is its own set of characters but these guys and their lucky ladies will burrow into your heart and make a lasting impression. This series needs to be read in order, even though each book is its own the storyline flows best in order. This book both excited me and saddened me, another trip on the roller coaster of course but it is a well written story with a perfect red bow. I cannot recommend diving into this series more, it contains absolutely everything a reader needs to enjoy its story. Now that I have reached the end, I will dig up the library and start again at book one. I will continue to follow this author and eagerly awaiting the next adventure. Enjoy!

Just when you think that the last piece of your favorite author was her best work, she surprises us all with a more awesome stuff Same thing happened with Goodknight which is a not only carries forward the events that happened in last book Parker ,but a finale to the whole Reed Security series So Sparks was anyway going to happen Goodknight is a more deeper look in Knight psyche ,how he was literally crippled when the only thing that kept him grounded, his wife was taken, because he pissed off someone Not his children ,and not even any of the Reed security members are able to keep him on track after that ,but Hunter Hunter acts as a shoulder to cry on for Knight This book brings out the human in Knight than the superhero all the readers have come to know him off in the previous Reed security books. Last but not the least there a virus too😉😉 Recommended to one and all A befitting Finale to an already awesome Reed Security

When Knight found some really evil doings he did his job and got rid of the head guy--or did he? It turned out what he knew was just the beginning. He would face great losses and have to make aching decisions. With the team behind him, they were taking on the powers that be until the bad guys took his wife. So begins a case way too close to reality for my thinking.
The fighting and evil-doer-chasing are the strongest in the series. The emotions from them all bring the reader into the tear fest. However, always trust the author, she doesn't forget the badly needed humor with these guys and gals, It will bring back fond memories to those who have read at least a few books if not all of the series. Sorry to see the series end but am pleased to have been promised another great series to follow. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
I have enjoyed this series so, so much. I started partway through & now I’ll catch up on the stories I have heard referenced but haven’t read firsthand. This book follows immediately from the ending of the previous book, with Kate's kidnapping. Kate is the one person who gives Knight his humanity. Without Kate, Knight has nothing to live for, is reckless & vengeful. This book was emotionally draining-Knight is so intense, and even though Hunter tries his best to help his friend, the pain is almost unbearable. Saying anything more is going to leave spoilers-as dark as this is, there also some light moments & a glimpse of the future. It's a wonderful tribute to the large group of men & women of Reed Security. Looking forward to more from this author.

I don't know what to think right now. I want to just cry that's this is the last book. I just want to know that Knight will be okay. My heart is aching for him that he still feels unworthy. I have loved this whole series and stayed up late way too many times when I needed to be asleep to be at work the next day. I loved a few stories just a bit more but they were all so good! When you grow up with brothers and have only sons who carry on with their friends a lot like these guys all do, I was in stitches at all the banter and practical jokes. I loved that every story would take you through the whole gambit of emotions and you were right there feeling everything with them. Awesome work Ms. Lagomarsino! I look forward to reading more of your work!
Im sad that this series as come to an end. Reed security series as been one great journey, from sinner all the way to goodnight. The ups and downs and all the emotions you feel from each book Was beyond anything you experience. Giulia lagomarsino did amazing writing this series. Although this last book as me conflicted Im not sure what it is Im feeling. Knight I found to really piss me off in this book. At times I kept telling him to get over himself. Kate gets kidnap and it isnt going good for her. Knight blames himself for her kidnapping and goes on a killing spree. This was a tearjerker and throw your kindle kind of book. Cant wait to read what giulia writes next.
