I cried to All Might for how decades he poured to be Number One hero.

There was a side story also to Illegals about the past of Eraser and Present Mic to Shirakumo which has been continue in this main story that pumps my heart.

This series gets better and better. This volume was incredible. Easily one of the most emotional in all kinds of ways. The series is building up towards another huge climax quite nicely, and it's doing so using all of the previous arcs as building blocks. Everything up to this point feels essential, and that's something that most shonen manga don't get right. It took me a while to realize, but MHA is actually one of my favorite comic series. Really looking forward to this arc and Midoriya learning about All-Might’s predecessor’s Quirk.

Okay, so this volume is also a huge build-up thing. I'm really excited to get to the next big battle lol.

Bakugou, Deku, and Todoroki having a Todo-family dinner was totally hilarious lol. Bakugou asking Fuyumi for her recipe pfffft and then him yelling at them for pulling out family drama when they had guests over. I really want more interaction with these three together, they're hilarious.

This volume focuses on several different elements and pushes the story forward, setting up big things to come in future story arcs. There is a good chunk of this volume that also looks into Shoto Todoroki, his father, and their family's drama. The story also digs deeper into the newly found creatures, the Nomu, as they try and understand the villains' plans.

I loved seeing Bakugo, Deku, and Shouto interning with Endeavor. We also got a further look at the Todoroki family, which was such an emotional ride. And omg the whole thing with Kurogiri, that was just so sad.

DUN DUN DUN...

Definitely a lot of build up here to the next "big battle" but in the meantime we got to see more about how Endeavour is turning his whole character around, and what training he's given to Izuku, Bakugou and Shoto.

Plus there's been a surprising revelation with Kurogiri and hints about a "hospital"... Really curious as to what's going to happen next as far as that goes!

Can't wait to see what happens next!

I liked it in general but this volume is more like a transition for me. We have more time for the next volume but that one is where the real action begins. Yet, it was still fun to read. The students are getting ready to move on to the next year while pro heroes have things to worry about themselves. It was also interesting to learn more about Todoroki Shoto and his family. The volume had a fuck ton of different things happening in so many places and not one of them was less important than the others.

First section was the trio, still interning under Fuckdevour, learning and strengthening their powers. Though we've seen 1A do this constantly throughout the series, this is more important because they're being trained for battle without their knowledge. They were always I said I cried in previous reviews but fuck, I am not afraid to admit that I sobbed during this one

The volume had a fuck ton of different things happening in so many places and not one of them was less important than the others.

First section was the trio, still interning under Fuckdevour, learning and strengthening their powers. Though we've seen 1A do this constantly throughout the series, this is more important because they're being trained for battle without their knowledge. They were always child soldiers, U.A and this society spit out child solider after child solider but this is worse because they're about to be sent into a battle that is going to have so many casualties and so many injuries you can't come back to.

That shit is traumatizing as fuck, I'm about to side with the villains for a quick second, but this society is so fucked up. While I don't agree with a lot of the villains actions (I love them dearly this is no hate towards them), they bring up so many good points throughout the series. They talk about hero society ignoring them as kids, certain quirks being villainized, hero society being a greedy and corrupt system, and so on.

I almost forgot and had to go back to this but we also see more into the todoroki family which oof it made me emotional. I fucking love Natsu so much so it sucks that every time we see him, hes breaking down because of the fucking trauma that Fuckdevour gave his kids. Fuckdevour doesn't deserve this arc at all and I love that some of his kids are stepping the fuck up to say no, this isn't okay, you don't deserve a happy family. I like that even Midoriya said you shouldn't forgive him yet.

Also quick thing that almost made me sob, Bakugo saying that he won't tell anyone his hero name until he tells a certain person first and we all know that its Best Jeanist because who else does Bakugo deeply respect. (I know he cares a lot about Kirishima and All Might but this is different, Best Jeanist was the one to take him in and try to help him while All Might fucked off to only focus on Midoriya.)

We do get a short little break to see the 1A reunion of them getting together to eat and talk about their internships but that's also bittersweet. The entire feast they bring up that they're all going to move up to 2A and ughdhdj I don't wanna think about it.

Onto the part that made me full on sob. I read all of the Vigilantes chapters that are currently out and so I witnessed Oboro's death (even though it felt a little anticlimactic, like it wasn't how I expected it to go. Still sad though). Seeing Aizawa and Present Mic absolutely break down and look so fucking stressed when they found out about Oboro being Kurogiri, I could not handle it, I especially lost it when you could make out his face in the mist. What's sad about Present Mic is that no one ever talks about the trauma he has about Oboro, only Aizawa is ever talked about with it. Just because he has such a loud bubbly personality, doesn't mean that he doesn't relive that day over and over too.. I bet Nemuri has some too because she was there that day and she knew him too. I'm almost disappointed that she didn't come along but I also know it was necessary for them as they were with him the most. I don't wanna cry again so moving on.

Hawks is stressing me the fuck out. :)) I love the duo between him and Twice and that's what really stresses me out because I know some spoilers that I'm not gonna write because that's rude as fuck. Also though on the topic of Hawks and the liberation army, I'm scared as fuck. The liberation army could destroy every city and if that doesn't scare you that I don't know what will. This volume has been quite glorious. Chapter 252 "The Unforgiven" in particular was a master piece. I absolutely live for Todoroki family drama and this volume delivered. Bakugo has grown on me so much since my initial introduction to him as Deku's bully. He might still be an arsehole, but he's keeping it real. He challenges adults like none of the other and beneath the attitude, he's a really smart guy and a good hero. He really did teach the Todorokis how to have a successful diner party.

In chapter 252 the three kids: Izuku, Shoto and Bakugo, who are on a work study at Endeavor agency, finally get there chance to shine and level up as they take down the villain who kidnapped Natsuo Todorki. The passion and emotion in this chapter was incredible. The artist does a really good job of showing each characters feeling in the midst of battle, Shoto's wrath for his brother, Midoriya's determination and glee at his control and Bakugo as Bakugo. The highlight for me was however, the exchange between Natsuo and his father. Seeing Endeavor on his knees hugging his child, and pouring out his feeling about how he wants Natsuo to still challenge him on his behaviour. Brilliant! This guy really is growing.

I'm a bit scared for him if I'm being honest. The glass guy said he signalled the end of the world. Why do I feel like Endeavor is going to have to die to truly be forgiven? And why do we only get these little crumbs about Touya. I wamt more. This story line is being dragged on longer than a soap opera.

And then we get the truth about Warp Gate and Aizawa and Present Mic's dead friend. Seeing him cry was special. There was alot of emotion going around in this volume. And a helluva lot of growth. It also seems Eri is about to play a part in the story again which is going to be cool.

I really like that the Paranormal Liberation Army are going to take a holistic approach to getting their freedom. The killkng of heros and taking political and industrial control is going to be hard to combat. They've also diversified their force with a well organised power structure. Hawks is still all up in there taking one for the team. He really is one of my faves.

The villains are coming together. The heroes are uniting. The kids are growing. It's gonna be war! ...more

This is probably my favorite volume in a while just because of HOW MUCH happened within these 200 pages. Not a ton in terms of the overall war between the heroes and villains, but gosh, so much character development. We see Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki join up with Endeavor's hero agency and begin to learn how to expand their powers with his help. My Hero Academia, Vol. 26 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next dozen chapters (247–258) of the on-going manga series.

The tankōbon concludes the internship arc. Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugō and Shōto Todoroki begin training under Enji Todoroki as Endeavor – the Number One Hero and Shōto's father. A great wrap up to the endeavour agency arc as well as beginning of the paranormal liberation war arc. I really enjoyed getting to see more of endeavour, as well as seeing how he interacts with his family following the near deadly events of the Nomu attack following his promotion to number 1 hero. It’s crazy to think of how much has happened and that class 1A is still in there first year of school. This was a really entertaining volume. Reading about the student's internship with Endeavor was really entertaining, with how they interacted with both the hero and each other. I think that this is a pretty important volume for a lot of characters, especially Endeavor because we get to see a new side to him that we haven't seen too often in previous volumes of the series.
