What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested superpowers called “Quirks”? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Being a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? The Hero Academy of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless?

I cried to All Might for how decades he poured to be Number One hero.

There was a side story also to Illegals about the past of Eraser and Present Mic to Shirakumo which has been continue in this main story that pumps my heart.

This series gets better and better. This volume was incredible. Easily one of the most emotional in all kinds of ways. The series is building up towards another huge climax quite nicely, and it's doing so using all of the previous arcs as building blocks. Everything up to this point feels essential, and that's something that most shonen manga don't get right. The art has also improved a lot, now being a lot clearer, with better page composition, and better pacing between panels. Super excited fo ...more

It took me a while to realize, but MHA is actually one of my favorite comic series. Really looking forward to this arc and Midoriya learning about All-Might’s predecessor’s Quirk.

Okay, so this volume is also a huge build-up thing. I'm really excited to get to the next big battle lol.

Bakugou, Deku, and Todoroki having a Todo-family dinner was totally hilarious lol. Bakugou asking Fuyumi for her recipe pfffft and then him yelling at them for pulling out family drama when they had guests over. I really want more interaction with these three together, they're hilarious.

And then the villain attack that came next sorta made... listen I still don't think Endeav

Amazing mostly because of chapter 253 which broke me. But there’s a lot going on and it feels like an end point is coming.

Midoriya and Bakugo continue their work study at Endeavour's agency, but a family dinner at the Todoroki's ends in tears when a villain attacks. Then Eraser Head and Present Mic visit Tartarus for a revelation about Kurogiri, and the final term of the UA kids' first year begins!

A decent volume if a little piecemeal. The first half with the Endeavour stuff is good fun, although I do think Bakugo's general demeanour is losing its humour. Yeah, the dude's cool, but he could chill out just ONCE and

This volume focuses on several different elements and pushes the story forward, setting up big things to come in future story arcs. There is a good chunk of this volume that also looks into Shoto Todoroki, his father, and their family's drama. The story also digs deeper into the newly found creatures, the Nomu, as they try and understand the villains' plans.

There's a great balance between humour and tragedy in this volume as our heroes learn new knowledge regarding their abilities and try and es

I loved seeing Bakugo, Deku, and Shouto interning with Endeavor. We also got a further look at the Todoroki family, which was such an emotional ride. And omg the whole thing with Kurogiri, that was just so sad.

There’s so much going on in this volume: with Deku, with Bakugo, with the whole Todoroki family, with Hawks. And it’s just so entertaining and moving and special, and even when it’s terrifying it’s super enjoyable

This volume was wholesome and was build up for the next volume. We got some good Todoroki family drama and some ugly shots of Bokugo.

An amazing volume, with tons of new powers and the stakes are even higher than ever.

Horikoshi and his manga team are a force of nature with this volume

DUN DUN DUN...

Definitely a lot of build up here to the next "big battle" but in the meantime we got to see more about how Endeavour is turning his whole character around, and what training he's given to Izuku, Bakugou and Shoto.

Plus there's been a surprising revelation with Kurogiri and hints about a "hospital"... Really curious as to what's going to happen next as far as that goes!

Can't wait to see what happens next!

I liked it in general but this volume is more like a transition for me. We have more time for the next volume but that one is where the real action begins. Yet, it was still fun to read. The students are getting ready to move on to the next year while pro heroes have things to worry about themselves. It was also interesting to learn more about Todoroki Shoto and his family. Overall, nice volume but don't expect to be surprised a lot. Waiting anxiously for the next one.

This volume has been quite glorious. Chapter 252 "The Unforgiven" in particular was a master piece. I absolutely live for Todoroki family drama and this volume delivered. Bakugo has grown on me so much since my initial introduction to him as Deku's bully. He might still be an arsehole, but he's keeping it real. He challenges adults like none of the other and beneath the attitude, he's a really smart guy and a good hero. He really did teach the Todorokis how to have a successful diner party.

This is probably my favorite volume in a while just because of HOW MUCH happened within these 200 pages. Not a ton in terms of the overall war between the heroes and villains, but gosh, so much character development. We see Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki join up with Endeavor's hero agency and begin to learn how to expand their powers with his help. Endeavor remains an awful human but he is recognizing that he has been horrible for years in the past and wants to atone for his actions toward his famil ...more

My Hero Academia, Vol. 26 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next dozen chapters (247–258) of the on-going manga series.

The tankōbon concludes the internship arc. Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugō and Shōto Todoroki begin training under Enji Todoroki as Endeavor – the Number One Hero and Shōto's father. In order to become fighters who can stand on their own, they will have to observe and learn all Endeavor could teach them and survive a dinner party at his house.

This definitely feels like a breather arc while Shiggy and the Paranormal Liberation Front gear up to attack hero society, but am I complaining??? Nope, definitely not. I got my fill of character and relationship development and I could not be happier.

A great wrap up to the endeavour agency arc as well as beginning of the paranormal liberation war arc. I really enjoyed getting to see more of endeavour, as well as seeing how he interacts with his family following the near deadly events of the Nomu attack following his promotion to number 1 hero. It’s crazy to think of how much has happened and that class 1A is still in there first year of school. But the final semester is rapidly coming to an end, and everyone is really progressing with their ...more

Izuku, Bakugou, and Todoroki begin their internship with Endeavor which can only mean one thing: TODOROKI FAMILY DRAMA! And drama this volume has in spades!

Also, this volume has a HUGE bombshell in it involving Eraserhead's backstory. This backstory is covered more fully in the spinoff series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, specifically in volume 8 and 9. If you haven't started reading it, I highly recommend it, especially now.

This was a really entertaining volume. Reading about the student's internship with Endeavor was really entertaining, with how they interacted with both the hero and each other. I think that this is a pretty important volume for a lot of characters, especially Endeavor because we get to see a new side to him that we haven't seen too often in previous volumes of the series. It was also nice to see the change in dynamics between the students as they worked together, both to strengthen themselves an ...more
