What a fun read. So many characters to fall in love with. Also at one point Ms. Ross even mentioned the town that I live in. Really enjoyed the story line and would love to see Henry, Hazel and some of the others get their own story if she chooses to do so.

Victoria has become a finalist in the a fishing contest where the winner will be the spokesperson for Romeo Reels. She has to host another contestant (Seth) who happens to be from Alaska.

Then you get introduced to the third contestant Henry.

Such a great cast of characters, not just the two leads but Victoria's daughter and the other contestant, all connected with their love of fishing. Not to mention Victoria's whole family as well as Seth's. Victoria has some very good reasons for keeping Seth at a distance and trying to keep her secrets. One from Alaska, the other from Louisiana, he's well traveled, she's hardly left home. They're all wrong for each other in some ways, but just right in all the ways that count. Loved this story. ...more

I just finished this book and noticed it was book 7 of the Seasons of Alaska Series. This was the first one that I have read, so I think I have some catching up yet to do! But the book was a fine stand-alone book, regardless.

The story is in the Louisiana Bayou region and the lead character is Victoria Thibodeaux, a strong female lead and resort owner. She's a single mom and a very competitive one when it comes to business matters! She is determined to become a spokeswoman for an important sports

Another in the Seasons of Alaska series in which the setting heads south to the bayous of Louisiana, where angler and family resort owner Victoria Thibodeaux is competing to become the spokesperson for a major sports equipment firm.

One of her competitors is Alaska fisherman Seth James who quickly realizes he'd rather land Vic than the position they are applying for. The third person in the race is an older gentleman named Henry who realizes that Seth is smitten with Vic long before she is willin

Catching Mr. Right is part of The Seasons of Alaska series but can definitely be read as a stand alone. This is Seth and Victoria's story of finding friends, love and adventure while dealing with the past. Victoria, Seth and Henry are the three final contestants vying for the job of spokesperson for Romeo Reels and must each host one of the other contestants for a fishing excursion along with the voting panel. Victoria is a divorced, single mom who is trying to make a better life for her daughte ...more

This book was so very heartfelt with more emotions that I just don’t know how to word. All good I assure you. This is Book 7 in the Seasons of Alaska by Ms. Ross. I haven’t read them in order, and I haven’t read them all. The ones I have read I truly loved as I loved this one.
When single mother Victoria Thibodeaux enters a contest to win spokesperson for Romeo Reels to give something more to her daughter, and do something for herself well things get interesting when she meets Seth James the man

I enjoyed this book it was really a fun read
The story involves 3 people who are vying for a job as spokesperson for a top multi-million dollar company. The fishing competition between Seth, Victoria & Henry occurs in various cities from Louisiana to Alaska. The competition is stiff. There’s lots of humor involving the contest I especially enjoyed the bet where the 2 losers jump off a high pier. Carol Ross handled the issue of one of them having a fear of heights very well! There’s family drama w

Talk about a book well done Carol has done it again. Meeting the character Victoria, she brings her to life that anyone can relate to her in someway. I love Seth for he is the type of guy anyone would love as a friend then a boyfriend. Carol does a excellent job of breathing life into this story. She mixes a little bit of suspense with romance. Plus alot of fishing which proves to be interesting. I look forward to her next story. Who will it be? I'm curious to see if it will be Hazel. J ...more

What an excellent story!! Very well written, and great characters. Each character had personalities that were incredible. I loved the whole family, and all but two of the characters in the book!
