I jumped into this book blind without having read any of the other books so I did feel like I missed out on some of this story. That being said this was a pretty sweet story between Bear and LIam. I really liked how much the two of them cared for each other. Watching Liam worry about Bear's heart condition but not wanting to force Bear to quit football. I really didn't understand Bear's dads reasons for pushing Bear to play but the story did have a good ending.

Life choices... ugh! Sometimes we are dealt a shitty hand and we just have to go from there. As with all of Carol Lynne's stories, I loved the MCs! Liam is a sweetheart and Nate (Bear) may look like a grizzly, but underneath is just a big teddy bear! He had to make a lot of tough choices, not just about his sexuality, but about life and death issues... whoever said Adulting is easy... lied to you... grrr

Not much characterization, not much plot, pretty cliche dialog. If there was an editor, they did a terrible job, there were tons of errors. A sports romance with almost no hint of sports. Love scenes decent and plentiful, but just about everything else was lacking. I wanted to care about the characters but the author didn't give me a chance, they barely had motivation or plot-related tension to contend with.

Estuve esperando la historia de Bear desde que hizo su primera aparición. Y wow. Es realmente increíble como a veces podemos ponernos en riesgo para complacer a los demás. La historia me gustó.

Hohoho... since I find out that Liam and Bear had I book I couldn't wait to read it!!! I love them both!!!

Liam is a soccer player that had been abused by some guys in the school because of his sexual preferences. But after his coach (Aaron) finds out about his and intervetion is made and Bear became his bodyguard.

Bear is a football player and until he met Liam he didn't know he was gay, so he decides to take what he wants and what Bear wants is Liam.

In this book BK house is finally open and the kids start to move in. When Bear enters Liams room to be his roommate Liam can belive it, he had had a crush on Bear since day 1 and he can't belive what he is seeing.

And so the relationship begins, Bear takes the decision to be open about his homosexuality and everything actually goes well. Until Liam finds out about Bear's heart condition, when an accident finally happens during a game Bear open his eyes and decide to quit playing and to start to do somthing about his life beside football.

I really really love this book, it was heart warming with all the love the guys show for each other, all the concern Liam show for Bear... It was beautiful .

I really really enjoyed Bear and Liam's story. The fact that Bear came out because he realized he had feelings for Liam even though he was a jock and could stand to lose a lot in the athletic world was awesome in my opinion.

When Liam found out about Bear's heart condition and did everything he could think of to help him and even contemplated walking out of Bear's life at one point to make him realize how much Liam loved him and wanted him to have a long and healthy life, I cheered him on. Even though I really wanted them together, I understood that even though Liam loved Bear to death, he couldn't sit there and watch the man he loved put his life on the line every time for a game he wasn't even sure if he loved. It was all about his dad.

The story was well told and I felt the conflicting emotions between both character! Now I can't wait for Jace and Sam's book. I hear it's going to be filled with tension and angst :) I love it!

ooooh I've been lookin forward to Bear and Liam for sooooooo long... I knew Bear would be such a protector... He'd be there for Liam and would stand tall against everyone who meant to do Liam harm. I hate so much all the stuff Liam has been through and all he's witnessed when Rocco was going through all his stuff.. I hated it so much. I REALLY hated Rudy OMG, I hated him so much... how someone who was supposed to be a faculty member could get away with the stuff that he did was amazing to me... how in the world did he get away with it? Even in places that did discriminate.... how could he get away with making such rude remarks and doing such hateful things to a student??? I didn't understand and was glad he quit although I would have liked to have seen him get his A kicked first lol
I really can't wait to read the next one in this series and I hope we get to see more Liam and Nate <3
Another 5 star read from me :)

This was another solid book in this series. We met Nate "Bear" Tucker and soccer player Liam O'Brien quiet a few books ago and we finally get their story. Nate has been Liam's unofficial body guard after Liam was harassed in the dorms. The BK dorms were built by Demitri in order to give the gay students a haven from abuse and harassment. When Liam moves into BK, he's shocked when he learns that Bear is his new rooommate. I wasn't shocked...you could tell Bear was gay when we are first introduced to him. This was a pretty good story with a little bit of relationship conflict. I liked their story and thought it was another good additio to the series.

I love how Carol Lynne can tell a pretty good story with such few pages.

Liam and Nate are great together. I have not read any of the other Campus Cravings books so there were things that didn't make sense to me, but it was a good story line. I like how they really seemed to care about each other and even though they had hard decisions to make it didn't end with the world turning itself upside down to make everything okay for them. There were trials and tribulations and they made it through with the help of each other and their friends.

3 3/4 stars!

The story though was good. It centered on the two young men who came to love each other over the course of the summer and the trials they face as they grow closer. There’s some loving, some jealousy, some revelations.

What this book did have, though, was one of the sweetest endings. I’m not going to say anything about it. I’m not even sure why it touched me so much, but the last few paragraphs really made me smile.

This is a wonderful story with great characters. Ms. Lynne never disappoints. Two of my favorite lines:
"You may look like grizzly, but I know you're a teddy" (How sweet is that?!:) )
"Yeah, I have to admit, he's grown on me. Kind of like a friendly fungus" :)

I liked both MC's in this story. Nate "Bear" and Liam fit well together, sure they jumped into the relationship from the start, but heck it was fun to re-read their story. Their HEA is sweet and warm, I liked it.

Пока лучшая книга в этой серии. У Нэйта проблемы с сердцем, но он хочет продолжать играть в футбол, чтобы исполнить мечту отца. Лайам старается уговорить его остаться в живых ради их любви.
