Tillie, the "black sheep twin" had me laughing and swooning! Nate has been waiting for the right time to get Tillie to be his and boy did he ever. Tillie has always felt protective of Millie but who has been there to protect her? Well Officer Nate and he makes sure not only tell but show Tillie that she'll never be alone. This was a fast read but boy was it packed with deliciousness and a lot of orneriness from the twins! Sit back and be prepared to love, laugh out loud and swoon! Kara~4.5 Stars

Miss Understood is the second Coletrain Twins story, and it’s another fun quick read. As with the first it was perfect for a quick read, but I wasn’t as crazy about it as I could have been. As with the first story, I blame this on the fact I’m extremely picky when it comes to short stories.
Whereas the first story sucked me in right away, the fun with this one was mostly at the end of the story. It was another story where things happened quickly, and the details came together in an amusing way at the end. I didn’t find this one as funny as the first story, but it was still enough to have me smiling.
All in all, this one is certainly worth the read if you enjoyed Miss Apprehended and want more of the twins.

If he has to haul her into the station to set her straight that she's his now, and to sort of scare her straight, then so be it. Will Tillie let Nathan in to her hardened heart? Or does she think she's not good enough for the town's sweet golden boy?
Like her sister's story, Tillie's story is short and entertaining. It's not any more substantial on the character growth than Miss Apprehended was, but it's sexy and sweet and the perfect hot summer read. My favorite part is Nathan - talk about a sweet hottie with a heart!

Miss Understood was a quick, satisfying, and all kinds of fiery and fun read that I loved every word of! From start to finish this book this book had me blushing, had me smiling like crazy, and had me laughing out loud with these characters and the antics they get into. Miranda Elaine and Amie Knight once again created a story I could not put down, and one that gave me such a fun and enjoyable read with the best amount of spice a girl could ask for!
After having loved every fantastic word of Miss Apprehended by these authors, I had no doubt that I would love this story just as much. While you don’t have to necessarily read Miss Apprehended to read this book, I would definitely recommend that story because it’s all kinds of fantastic, and plus you won’t want to miss Millie and Jake’s story too. Those two are to die for in the best possible way. Plus reading that book will have you even more in love with this series, and will have you so ready for more with all of the distinctive and wonderful characters that make up this world.

Wild Thing had the perfect amount of romance, swoonworthy moments, as well as so many moments that practically had me crying I was laughing so hard.
This book was over the top, sassy, fun, and full of fire and heart in the best possible way, and I truly can’t say enough good things about it! I loved Tillie and Nate so much. I loved their hearts, I loved getting to see and experience the real them, I loved that they had so much connection and feeling between them, and I just loved how they pushed each other’s buttons in a way that no one else could. If you are looking for a quick, well written, and highly enjoyable read that will give you the laughs, the feels, and some serious heat, then run yourself to this book this very second!!!

5 SMOOCHES!
I’m just going to come out and say it: I love smut, and one of my favorite guilty pleasure pastimes is escaping into the pages of quick and dirty little insta-love stories. Amie Knight and Miranda Elaine’s second co-written novella, Miss Understood, hits that nail on the head, and I’m officially a fan! Having read many of these types of stories, I can admit that there is sometimes a bit of redundancy in this trope. The thing that sets this duo apart, though, is their wild sense of humor, and let me tell you, these two are seriously funny.
Typically these types of stories are all about the bad-boy alpha-male and his quest to land the virginal good girl of his dreams, and that’s all fine and good. But Amie and Miranda turn that notion right on its head with a squeaky-clean, good-guy cop and a sassy, naughty girl. Tillie may put up a wall of attitude as high as the fence around the prison she could very well end up in, but Nate sees right through it to the kind-hearted, slightly lost, in-over-her-head girl underneath. Despite her bad girl rep, though, Tillie is really just trying to protect Nate, and her twin, Millie, from the mess of trouble that swirls around her.
Nate’s been patient, he’s given Tillie time to get herself together, but he’s done waiting. He’s going to use whatever means necessary, including his handcuffs, to corral his girl and clean up her mess so they can finally be together. Individually the Coletrain twins are handful, but the two together fill poor Nate’s hands to overflowing when they decide to handle matters on their own. Add in a biker looking to collect what he’s owed and the twins’ best friend—who is definitely not the voice of reason—and not even back up in the form of Millie’s bail bondsman boyfriend, Jake, can level the playing field in Nate’s favor.
Jam packed with hilarious antics, wickedly witty banter and enough steam to power a sauna, Miss Understood was an amusing and sexy pleasure to read with a sweet surprise twist that I wasn’t expecting! I was given this ARC for a review, I loved it so much, a little more than book 1 to be honest. I was having a bad day yesterday, having been quarantined for about 13 days in my college dorm and only looking forward to more homework, I was getting a little depressed. This book lifted up my spirits.
I just loved how Nate was, he was great, he's been in love with Tillie since forever, how he honors his job and he had me swooning the whole book. If only he were real. Tillie, I loved how protective she was towards Millie. Millie is also in this book and you get to see more of their relationship. I just love how they were each other's dream person.
Tillie just climbed out of Jake's window escaping being arrested. Jake calls his buddy Officer Nate Trent to pick up Tillie. Once taken by Nate, she goes on some life changing things because once Nate has her, he's not letting go. It is just so cute and so great, it is a short read, but that doesn't degrade it's quality. I hope Miranda Elaine and Aime Knight make more mini collabs. I highly recommend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Miss Understood is the second book about the Coltrain twins and is Tillie and Nathan’s story.
Millie and Tillie may be twins but they could not be more different. Tillie is the not so good twin while Millie always tries to be good.
I had so many laugh out loud moments reading this book that my family were convinced that I was mad. Although a novella the authors managed to draw me in and had me riveted from the first to the last chapter. Not only was it funny and romantic, it was also steamy and the chemistry between Nathan and Tillie is intense.
I loved how Nathan was determined to show Tillie how much he cares, he was totally swoon worthy. The connection between them was so strong and it was so much fun to watch their journey.
A well written, fun, entertaining book that left me with a huge smile on my face.

Miss Understood Book 2 of Amie Knight and Miranda Elaine’s The Coletrain Sisters Series is a fantastic five star read and the perfect companion read to Book 1 Miss Apprehended.
I DEVOURED this book in one sitting and loved every single minute of it. Talk about a fast paced, sexily ever after read! I mean whoa! Officer Trent can arrest me anytime he wants. Actually now that I think about it, I’ve been a very, very, very, bad girl 😉. Nate Trent is a sexy, gun toting (biceps baby), hot as sin, law enforcement officer who is completely devoted to his teen crush, Tillie. He.Is.Hot.
Tillie is hot too. A.Hot.Mess.! But you are absolutely going to adore her (not really) bad girl persona. Dubbed the bad twin, she spent her teen years and early twenties, taking care of her sister from the sidelines. A complete badass with a heart of gold.
Together they are perfect. Their love shines bright and you will sigh out loud as you watch them get together and fan yourself as they do! Y’all need to read this book AND Miss Apprehended so you get the full Coletrain experience! TBR and Enjoy!

Okay, I seriously LOVED Officer Nathan Trent!!!! His love for Tillie Coletrain melted my heart. He's known her since they were kids, but she had a hard life and she just wasn't ready for him. But that didn't deter him from waiting for the right moment to finally make the known con woman his.
He knows the REAL Tillie. The woman who will do anything to protect the people she loves. His faith in her is undying.
And good lord, Tillie is a hoot! She had me cracking up laughing so hard. And despite her rough exterior, she can't help but melt for the handsome policeman.
As much as I enjoyed the first book in this series, this one definitely topped it! It's another fast paced, fun and sexy read from this talented writing duo.

4.5 stars. Another super fun and sexy novella! I enjoyed it very much! This story is about Tillie, Millie from Miss Apprehended’s twin, and Nate the cop who has loved her forever. Tillie really is misunderstood and no one really knows why she has been getting into the trouble she has. This one has a little more going on in the story than the other but is just as insta love (sort of) and quirky funny as the first. I really enjoyed it and loved how Nate wanted to clear everything up for her and then have her agree to be his everything. It was very sweet! But I think Hannah definitely stole the show for a bit in this one. OMG I was LOL-ing with what she does and what happens with her! Again like the first book, I really loved the epilogue!! Very satisfying HEA.

Book 2 in The Coltrain Twins duet and what a perfect conclusion to this series from Miranda Elaine and Amie Knight. In Miss Understood we get Tillie and Nathan’s story and it’s a story I loved.
Tillie is very different from her twin Millie, she is the rebellious one, living life dodging the law but once Nathan convinces her that he cares and life can be so much more if you live on the right side of the law she finds herself falling hard and fast for the hot as sin Officer Nathan Trent.
This novella ticked all my boxes, I laughed, I smiled, I swooned and I sighed as the banter and romance flowed in this quick, entertaining read. If you are looking for a book that will leave you smiling like a Cheshire Cat look no further than the duet of Miss Apprehended and Miss Understood.

Look beyond the absurdity of the story itself and the unlikeliness that it would happen in the first place, this is a fun story. I definitely think you have to read the first book because it wouldn't make complete sense. Not that there is such a strong story line or anything, but it just comes full circle. I felt like this was still fun, it still had humor, Nate was hot and I was all about him. If you are in the mood for a light read, with a little steam, but would definitely make you less crabby on certain days (you know what I'm talking about)... this duo is definitely worth it.

Well after Miss Apprehended I thought that both sisters didn't have the best relationship but now I found out WHY and that everything's different than it seems!

A fun, rather lighthearted read. Nate, a cop, and Tillie are from opposite sides of the small town. of Sugar Hill, They have known of each other most of their lives. Nate is a virgin but he's been keeping tabs on Millie since high school. She has been working at a retirement home and trying to protect her twin, Tillie, from their additive gambler mother. When Nate sees Tillie has taken up with his bail bond friend, he picks Tillie up on hot check warrants, with the idea of cleaning her up and making her his! A fun read.

We know she is considered a criminal and is being tracked. Like the first book, it was fun, quick, steamy and had me laughing. Tillie is seen as a criminal, but we get to see so much more of her. Nathan wants to help her while also wanting her to be his. I loved their chemistry and back and forth so much.

Oh my goodness, Tillie & Nate’s novella was amazing! The conwoman & the cop. Tillie & Nate had great chemistry and hilarious banter. I laughed out loud a lot while reading.

This novella is sexy and sweet all mixed together. Nate’s had eyes Tillie for years and will do whatever it takes to make her is. Tillie is a force to be reckoned with and gives him a run for his money. An afternoon read that you do not want to miss out on. You will laugh and fall in love with these characters.

Oh my goodness!!! I have sooo many good things to say about this book!! It was super cute, but I also loved the backpedaling in time! It was nice to see how things occurred first before everything else happened up until that point. Overall super cute story and definitely recommend it!!!

Wow this awesome writing duo did it again! loved Nate and Tillie's story! Who doesn't love a man in uniform. Tillie is the town bad girl but is there a reason behind it? Nate is the Officer who has wanted Tillie for years! The two together are amazing! Adding in Millie and Jake...awesome. OMG I was dying with Hannah and the biker! Loved it!! Great read! Can't wait for more!

A sweet, spicy, quick read. This really helps complete the duet and I love getting both sides of the Coletrain sisters.
Even though Tillie has the criminal past, she has a heart of gold. We learn that everything bad she's done has been for the right reasons and Nate has seen through her bad girl act from the very beginning.
I enjoyed reading the other side of the Coletrain sister story. It was also nice knowing that Nate had Tillie's back, and let me tell you, Nate is the whole package!

This is book two in the Coletrain series. Just like the first book this was a quick fun sexy read. Police officer Nathan has always wanted “bad twin” Tillie! In her mind she is only protecting her family. Nathan has a plan to make her his...finally! I enjoyed the quirkiness of this series. This was definitely my favorite book out of the two.
