Short, nice story

Jane is lost while on her way to an aunt’s house after her father has died. Where is she. Why has she gone missing. Who can find her with so little money is available?

The answers are heartwarming and uplifting. As the world is coming to grips with COVID-19, we are learning there are quiet, heroes everywhere among us. This story has has a few heroes but one particularly quiet hero. Thumbs up 👍🏻

Death is never a clean break — some stardust always remains. ~ Terri Guillemets

In this case, the stardust is named Jane Bennet.

As the story begins, Mr. Bennet has died and the remaining Bennets are living with relatives in Meryton and London. Jane has gone for an extended stay with an Aunt far from her home. Little is known about Jane’s fate, other than the carriage she occupied was in a serious accident. Other passengers were recovered, but Jane Bennet was gone.

Bingley returns to Meryton and is

A rather short and sweet little mysterious variation inspired by Jane Austen’s classic novel Pride And Prejudice by Bronwen Chisholm

This is a story of 2 romances, but really it is a story of redemption for all 4 of the main characters. The relationships, specifically Bingley and Darcy's reveal secrets and flaws before finding a way to rebuild. In this case, it is searching for Jane in which B and D find their HEA.
I really liked the way this author wove flashbacks throughout so we can both follow the story and understand how we got to this point.
Absolutely lovely.

3.5 rounded up. This was a short, easy read where Jane Bennet disappears after a carriage accident. The circumstances of the Bennet family are different which is why Jane was traveling to the home of a distant aunt. Everyone is much more open and forthcoming with their feelings which, while not very believable, certainly makes for easier resolutions and a much faster path to a HEA. This was a pleasant read that you can get through in one sitting.

A sweet, emotional tale about second chances when all hope is lost. About two months after the disastrous proposal at Hunsford parsonage, Darcy confesses to Bingley his role in separating him from Jane Bennett. Darcy and Bingley return to Longbourn, but discover that Mr Bennett has died, Mr Collins lives at Longbourn, and Jane's mother believes that Jane is dead. Bingley despairs, but Darcy does some investigating, and learns from Elizabeth, who is living with the Gardiners, that Jane i

Avid Reader

This was a delightful book about Jane Bennet surviving an accident and being carried for by a Welsh furniture builder. He nursed her back to health until the son of the grocer took her back to town. Thanks to Darcy 's common sense, Henry informed Darcy and Bingley of Jane 's location. Jane and Bingley married the day that Jane was found. Elizabeth and Darcy married a month later. Mary went to live with the great aunt that Jane was on her way to visit, and Kitty went to Pemberley with

Touching Novella
A title that not only depicts how much Jane is missed, but also that she’s physically missing! This is a very touching and somewhat emotional short story that begins with Darcy’s confession to Bingley of how he and Charles’ sisters conspired to keep him separated from Jane. A short story deserves no spoilers, and too much description will do just that. So do read it to find out how both our dear couples find their HEA. Well written, this story will also bring a slight tear to you

Short story but full of love

Jane is missing after a carriage accident and presumed dead. Darcy and Charles search for her and eventually find her close to the Welsh border. The story has everything - , loss of a family member, frustration, hope, and most importantly LOVE. Bingley refused to give up the search, Elizabeth refused to accept her sister is gone, and a quiet Welshman refused to forget his love for his wife.
It's well worth the time and money.....

Short but sweet

Brought tears to my eyes. Very sweet story and more about Jane than Lizzy without leaving Lizzy out. Good job!
