Scarlet Davis, ex-submissive, was content with her life between working as a programmer and dating a gorgeous six-foot-two golden-haired lumberjack she met on a Tinder date gone right. That is until she ran her car into a dog by accident. A dog which overnight turned into a naked man named Lucas who then proceeds to inform her that he is a wolf, not a dog. Now she is spend ...more

I loved this book it was the perfect balance of everything a good book needs. There was a shy yet strong willed heroine. Our sexy leading man who's also a werewolf with a pantymelting accent. And no good book would be complete with out the scum but I'll leave those details for you to read about. Sometimes paranormal can be over the top and the story gets lost. But when reading P. Stormcrow's books I never feel like the story gets lost or the Paranormal takes over the balance is always there it m ...more

New to me author P. Stormcrow delights me with her retelling of Little Red Hood. Erotic nods to faery tales always catch my interest. Kinky and sweet, I am definitely adding this author to my list for reading.

I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed how the red riding hood story was sprinkled throughout the novel. The red hood from the event and the red hoodie. Granny showed up along with the “big bad wolf”. The main character’s name, Scarlet, alone was a nod with the nickname “Red”. These characters were well rounded and memorable. I know little about this genre or the subject of submissive, some things
I have an issue which could be a genre or subject thing.

There are a few things I wished were different. Th

I tend to avoid this genre. I have an issue with the way consent is portrayed a lot in these types of “alpha wolf shapeshifter” things. It seems to be a lot of the attitude of “she is my mate no matter what, and I will scarily persue her until she gives in”. It’s deeply unpleasant to me. There’s also an element of the woman seeing her “mate” as a wolf and being ok with that!? Uh no. I’d be terrified! Not turned on. So I just avoid that whole thing, don’t read, don’t give bad reviews on books I K ...more

Picked this one up because a) I'm researching erotica to see how far I want to go in my own novels; b) paranormal romance intrigues me; and, c) werewolves are my new favorites now that vampires have been done to death (or, undeath, you might say). And, it's usually fun seeing where an author takes you when tackling a classic fairy tale. I was happily surprised to discover P. Stormcrow is a talented writer with a gifted imagination, both necessary to have when carving out a place in the literary ...more

Definitely not the version of Little Red Riding Hood I grew up with but definitely the one I prefer. The storyline follows the same premise, there's still a beautiful Red, a Big Bad Wolf, and a grandma....Then there's a Fet Club, a Dom, and oh so much more. The characters were very well written and the plot was both exactly what you'd expect and then the moments of "Wow!" that took it to some other place. I loved that it was a short story because it was fun, fast, full of everything you could wa ...more

Scarlet Davis' best friend has set her up with online dating, and it looks as though it could be going very well when she meets a handsome lumberjack Dom. Yet he proves not so reliable, and to make her life worse, she accidentally hits a dog with her car. She nurses it overnight and it turns out to be a gorgeous werewolf. But can she trust the big bad sexy wolf or should she run away?

A tantalizing quick read that is deliciously thrilling. Scarlet is a shy submissive that is immediately likable w

P Stormcrow is a new author to me so imagine my surprise when I found 'Bound by Red', the first book in her "The Midnight Retellings Collection". This is a quick, easy read, which is both good and bad, with characters that were totally relatable and a storyline that was fun, emotional, and kinky!! This version of Little Red Ridinghood's story is definitely not the one I grew up with but certainly will keep in my library now that I'm an adult! Because it's a short story I don't want to give any ...more

P. Stormcrow is one of my absolute favorite erotic romance authors. I’ve read a few of her other books on wattpad. This is the first one I bought through amazon and it was worth the money.
What’s interesting about P. Stormcrow’s work is that her stories are almost a deconstruction of the bdsm genre. Her stories are educational, especially this one, where the main love interest and antagonist each serve to illustrate what a good dom and bad dom look like. Being a submissive does not mean giving up

Holy Moly

Wow.. That's all I can say... 😳😳😳
This might be a short story but it lacks Nothing... There's mates, doms, subs, fighting, jealousy and even more. Don't miss out on this one. I don't wanna to much more because I'm afraid I'll give something away.

I don’t usually read paranormal books with shifters/Wolves, however I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The storyline and characters were very well written. Scarlet being a shy, yet strong willed woman, made her the perfect heroine. I highly recommend this book, and I am looking forward to reading more soon from P.Stormcrow.

Where do I start in this story! This story was my favorite introduction to P. Stormcrow and I was amazed I relatable this story was to me.

Lucas and Scarlet are one of my favorite characters from this author, besides I love anything werewolf I think is was a unique touch and I love it.

Scarlet who is trying to find herself and finds herself a tall glass of Lucas. This two bring out the best of each other without knowing they are. The best version of Red Riding Hood written.

“Bound by Red” is a fun love triangle story of the good guy with a bad side and a dangerous-looking guy who has a heart of gold. I loved this twist o Little Red Riding Hood. What’s more, this is an important book for those who desire a dominating partner but are currently unattached. Scarlett’s choices represent a true partner who plays the dominant in their play and the other guy is controlling and abusive. Since 50 Shades of Grey came out, there have been some grey areas (pun intended) on whet ...more

This was an interesting take on the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale. I enjoyed that the author wrote Scarlet, Little Red Riding Hood of the story, as a smart, strong woman instead of the usual awkward, trip over everything heroine that is so commonly seen in this type of book. Lucas, the wolf of the story, was such a nice man too! He gave Scarlet space and let her do her own thing while he waited for her to come to him after absorbing all the information he sprung on her. So refreshing to see ...more

This one was easy to read and interesting enough. I liked the werewolf and that he knew she was his mate but didn't try to claim her while she was with the other guy. Other guy was a douche I'm glad she got rid of. Was not expecting the action at the end and loved it. Plus it's super steamy for a 100 page book, so if you're into that, you'll likely enjoy it. There were a few typos after the midway point but they were easily overlooked. ...more

Phenomenal Red Riding Hood tale

I thoroughly enjoyed this read from the first page. I honestly didn’t know what I was about to read and I am glad I didn’t because it made it so much better.
This was literally one of the best BDSM reads I’ve read in a long time.
I highly recommend this read to anyone who likes an easy, well written, hot BDSM short story that leaves you wanting more.

I loved this reimagining of a classic tale. It’s steamy, sexy and the perfect read when you need to escape into a fairytale with a twist. I’m now excited to read the rest of the collection.
One thing I love about the characters are their interactions and the power and strength behind submitting and being themselves.
