Dill Best has a wedding to plan, a family business to save, and no time for straight guys with hard muscles and soft kisses.

I’m fed up with the Walker family. It seems like everyone has their own agenda for this high-budget wedding that’s supposed to catapult our family business to the next level. And then I find out my one-night fling was the best man, Griff Walker.

2.5 stars rounded up

Hm, sorry to say that this was mostly a disappointment for me. I rounded up to 3 stars because there was a certain something about this I did enjoy. I thought that Griff and Dill aka Dylan, were cute together most of the time, and I did like some of the secondary characters like Dill's brothers, and Beth, the bride, and so on. So it made me round up.

But...for the most part there was just something missing in this. This is a new-for-me author, and I don't know if this will mak

I ended up skipping all the sex scenes and after that pretty much just started reading the dialogue. The guys’ inner thoughts, let alone what they said to each other, was SUPER sappy and more than a little unrealistic. I suppose you could look at the story as a fairy tale because that’s the only way it makes even a bit of sense. This was the fastest case of Insta-Love I’ve read in years. I could go on listing things that made it ridiculous but it’s just not worth my time. Everyone else has rante ...more

4.5 stars.

Such a good story. The ending was so sweet, as was the epilogue. The other stories in the series are happening in the background so I’ve already met the other couples. This is total insta-love but it worked for these guys.

I discovered this author recently when I read Throne Together and loved it. It was actually my favorite of the five books in that series. I look forward to reading a lot more.

Enjoyable experience

This is a new to me author, this is a fun book in which to start with. This is the first book in a trilogy about three different couples finding their HEA at or because of the same wedding.

Dill and Griff are great, well written characters that compliment each other, have instant chemistry and support one another against awful family members in their whirlwind romance. I thought this was a highly enjoyable read I can't wait for the other stories in the series.

This book reminded me of a Hallmark movie in the best way.
Dill and Griffin seemed doomed from the start. I really wanted them to work but damn, it was going to take a miracle to see them get their hea..

I loved Dill's family. Griff's, not so much..

I enjoyed this wedding themed insta love story. It has a bit of sweet, a bit of snark, family - the good and bad kind, friendship, honor and trust.
I look forward to the rest of the series.

Best Laid Plans starts this new series about the Best brothers and their wedding planning business. This first book is a light read with no angst and the guys hook up in chapter one. Dill is fine for a hook up and he never thinks he will find the one, but Griff is in an entirely different place. Griff isn’t out, he’s never told anyone that he is gay, and we learn early on that he is a virgin, although this doesn’t seem to have any impact on how his relationship p

New to me author. I really enjoyed this mm contemporary story set in the USA. Main characters are Griff a closeted ex rich kid mechanic and Dylan aka Dill a wedding planner involved in a family business. Told from both characters POV. Loved this story. I’ll read more from this author and series.

What a cute story. Where are all the guys like Griff hiding? #Swoon
Low angst, lots of smiles, and more than a few laughs make this book an easy one to recommend.

Zoe Dawn's Best Laid Plans, the first book in the Best Men Inc series, is a beautiful read. Overall, this is a story of a whirlwind, one week romance. Griff and Dill are seriously hot together, with amazing chemistry.

The instant attraction between Griff and a stranger leads to a one night stand. But the fun starts when Griff discovers his one night stand is actually his brother's wedding planner. What follows is crazy and off the rails, and I love it all!

I love these men and their complex lives.

This was such a fun read!

Griff and Dill (though I don't like the name Dill) were such a fabulous, supportive, cute couple! The way they look out for and protect each other is so sweet, and the sex scenes were so hot! I love how they can't keep their hands off each other.

This is definitely an insta-love romance novel, in fact it was instant soulmate love, which is not my favorite, but the comedic dialogue and sexy times more than made up for it. Zoe Dawn also was great at setting up the other co

Griff hates his family. But his sister-in-law to be is lovely and he doesn’t want to disappoint her by not attending his brother’s wedding to her. A Grindr date is just what he needs. Meeting that date when he attends a suit fitting knocks him off his axis. Dill is the wedding planner, and has a strict *no fraternisation* rule. But they already got together, right?? He just needs to deal with this wedding of the yea

This is a sweet, insta-love story with one of the MCs finally coming out and getting together with a man for the first time. Add in the chaos of a wedding, a family from hell and last minute drama and there are lots of things to test the newly developing relationship.

Griffin Walker has returned home for the first I enjoyed in years to attend his brother’s wedding and serve as Best Man, though lord knows why. And he’s been keeping a big secret that he is finally willing to test out. Little does h

A really good insta-love story that works so well for Dill and Griff. From the first moment that was only supposed to be an anonymous hookup they clearly share a strong connection that quickly deepens when they allow themselves to take the risk.
If Dill was to follow the Best family rule, he would not get involved with a member of the wedding party, and if Griff followed his plan he would follow his family's instructions in the lead up to the wedding, play the best man on the big day and

Usually being the black sheep of a family brings on negative connotations, but in this instance, Griffin lucked out on being completely different from his family.

Griffin and Dylan meet when they both answer each other's hook up request on Grindr. For Dill, he's just looking to get laid, but for Griff, he is so tired of being someone he isn't. This time with Dill is for Griff to explore that hidden side of himself. Now, this hook up wasn't meant to be the start of something, but it does and it i

What do you do when your first ever hookup with a man happens to be your brothers wedding planner? Why you fall in love of course. Griffin and Dylan’s story begins a new series about brothers who also run a business together, Best Men Inc. Dylan, or Dill as he is more commonly known, is the wedding planner and is tasked with creating a fairytale wedding for Griffin’s brother. Griffin, who is the black sheep of the family, has been given the position of best man but it is clear that its not becau ...more
A well-written fast paced story with two adorable MCs, wedding drama, dealing with crazy fam and finding happiness.

The story centers around the youngest of the Best Men-Dylan Best AKA Dill, who is in-charge of putting together a hotshot wedding with a crazy (for the first time ever) groom party, whilst trying to fight off his attraction to the groom's sweet, kind and confused brother-Griff. Their chemistry is instantaneous and Griff's character stood out for me-starved of true love and affection

Oh, this book was a hoot. Can we acknowledge the amazing chapter titles? Omg, I loved them!

Secondly, let’s discuss my love and adoration for Dill. So much sass! He was a little dynamo, and kept his cool with all the Walker madness. I’m not sure I could’ve done that. I cheered him on every time he squared his shoulders, and headed in to battle another ‘change in plans’ by that ridiculous family. I was happy he took some moments of happiness for himself, when he indulged in a little rule breaking

Sweet and fun falling in love story that will touch your heart.  I really like both of the MC's and how real they are with each other.  Both are nice guys and they really fit.  This is not a good time for them to explore their attraction because of the huge difficult wedding that has brought them together.  One the brother of the groom and one the wedding planner, but attraction and love will not be denied. The writing flowed and the pacing was good.  I found myself reading and enjoying this ove ...more

3 2 1 to finding love.
A good start with a hot first time hookup after Griff arrives into town. Griff's in his home town for his brothers wedding and yah he expects trouble from his parents. ooh the heat between Griff and Dill but they gotta act like they hadn't met before when they officially meet with family. A slow romance/ fast lust with being in the closet for one of these guys. I felt bad for Beth for marrying into the Walker family with her in-laws from hell and not to mention the snake (

This is a touching love story, both Dill and Griff are sweet and one of my favourite types of couples, a muscled hunk and a cute twink, perfect in my mind and these two were. After a brief one night hook up they are destined to meet again and again. Griff (Griffin), the muscled one, is the black sheep of the Walker family, returned only for a family wedding. The Walkers, aside from Griff, are a bunch of obnoxious, overblown, snobby pricks, they were hard to read, so annoying. Dill(Dylan) is part ...more

This new to me author did not disappoint.
The Best brothers run a wedding planning service and Dill Best is their Wedding Planner/Coordinator.
The Best Men have a few rules, but the first and most important rule is don't get involved with the wedding party...that is until Dill sees his last night hook-up walk through the door of his brother's tailor shop.
Griff is straight.. at least that's what his family believes. Griff has always known that he prefers guys, but never had the nerve to explore his

Loved this couple

This was a fun story about a family of wedding specialists and a bully of a family out to destroy it. It’s set in Portland which I love. And Griff/Finn is a closeted part of the bully family who got out. Dill/Dylan is the wedding planner trying to make this family happy. A hook up on Grindr brings them together only to meet again the next day as part of the wedding. It’s a great trope. First Time and homophobic family.
The couple has powerful chemistry throughout the story. Low

I love stories that take place at weddings and this one was so sweet. Dill and Griff are really great together. I loved the love at first sight thing that happened, I'm a romantic. I liked how the characters came together and how they bonded over the course of the week. I can't wait to read the other brother's stories to see how those relationships work. Beth is a sweetheart and I hated to see what she went through with Jason but was glad for how everything turned out. Overall Dill and Griff's s ...more

Dill and Griff meet up on Grindr for a hook up. Dill just wants to get off, but Griff is tired of being in the closet, he is looking for more. They have an instant connection. The next day they meet again when Griff arrives for his tux fitting, he is the best man in his brother’s wedding. Oops. Dill is the wedding planner for the wedding. Great start to new series.

This is such a sweet, low angst, medium heat romance between Dill and Griff who are instantly attracted to each other after a hookup but don’t expect to see each other ever again.
Fate intervenes and over the next week they fall in love. Although there’s a couple of hurdles to jump over, especially Griff’s despicable family.
This is a very enjoyable, easy read with wonderful, likeable main characters and some great side characters who set the scene for the next 2 books

The Best Men, Griff and Dill!

This was a very sweet love story. It had the groom's brother as a best man then the Best brothers as the wedding planners for a very high price wedding. Griff and Dill were very different but strong main characters. This book had so much drama from the groom's family and the groom himself that it unreal but the true love story is the groom's brother and the wedding planner with an impossible job. I didn't want to put it down.

This is a really fun story with pretty much no angst and all the warm fuzzy feels. It is the first in a trilogy about the same wedding but can read as a standalone as each one involves a different couple. And what a wedding it is! It's full of drama, snark and an interesting suite of characters that certainly it difficult for Dill and Griff to find their way to their HEA. It's a little bit crazy and a whole lot of fun, with a sweet romance and an engaging story with great writing and pacing. Eag ...more

I received an ARC of this story and fell in love. Griff is such an adorable guy. I immediately felt sympathy for him because of who his family is. Growing up around those people couldn't have been fun, but he was able to get out relatively unscathed.
Dill was such a sassy little thing. I loved how in control he was when it came to the business, but such a marshmallow when it came to Griff.

This was a great instalove story that I couldn't put down. Zoe Dawn is a new author, and after reading her previous book, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed with this one. It's low angst and easy to fall in love with the MCs. You get introduced to the MCs in the upcoming books in this series as well, and I'm excited to read those.

I’m enjoying Zoe’s writing style, some great characters, but not so great family, in fact a good vs evil, whom get there just deserts, it’s satisfying. You get introduced to other mc’s in future books. Dill and Griff had major chemistry, sparked my kindle. Awesome. Can’t wait to read the next story.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book for my honest opinions of which I’m under no obligation to do so. I definitely recommend this book.
