The Avocado Toast is book six in the Breezy Spoon Diner Cozy Mystery by Tracey Quinn. Dani O'Shea runs a small Breezy Spoon Diner in East Spoon Creek City and promised her friend she would cater her wedding reception. However, on the day, an uninvited guest crashed the reception and was murdered. Dani O'Shea decided to investigate to find the answers. Readers of The Avocado Toast will continue to follow Dani O'Shea to discover what happens.

Reading The Avocado Toast kept up the tradition for me, reading in the middle of a series. This book is an excellent cozy mystery and a pleasure to read. I engaged with the story and the characters from the first page, and it held my attention through to the end. I started to understand that having money does not always mean happiness.

I appreciate how Tracey Quinn portrays her characters and their interactions. The Avocado Toast is well-researched and written by Tracey Quinn, and her lively portrayals of the setting complement the book's plot.

I recommend this book.

Since I never seem to read cozy mystery books in order, my introduction to The Breezy Spoon Diner Mysteries by Tracey Quinn was book 6. This book works well as a stand alone and it was a fun, quick read. Quinn uses a lot of humor and kind stereotyping to help us picture her motley group of characters. I plan to go back now and read the books that came before this one!

Twisted & crazy

To crazy to described. It's fun, stupid, crazy, twisted, zany, it's like spending a day with Cooter! Enjoy it for yourself.

Another cute entry in this series of books and of course Dani O’Shea solves the case again. Enjoyed this series of books. Don’t know if there are more to come, but will read if there are.

Mildly Entertaining

I’ll admit it held my interest only because the library books I am waiting for were not yet available and I wanted to see Who Done It.
