It's Bath Time! Indestructibles

Rate this book
Introducing two new titles in the phenomenally bestselling INDESTRUCTIBLES series, Rhyme with Me! and It’s Bath Time!

And phenomenal is right: The little series that could, INDESTRUCTIBLES titles now total over 7 million copies in print and are becoming the essential books in baby’s library. And no wonder. Printed on a unique, nontoxic, and amazingly resilient paperlike material, the books are built for the way babies read—with their mouths. And when INDESTRUCTIBLES get dirty, just rinse them off or throw them in the dishwasher—literally—and they’ll be all clean and ready for another round.

Rhyme with Me!  is a fun way to introduce baby to rhyming and wordplay. Each page features a lively sentence highlighting a special rhyming word.

It’s Bath Time!  is perfect for reading right in the bath (yes, INDESTRUCTIBLES can hold up to that, too). Baby will delight in seeing a muddy baby elephant being sprayed down by its mom, a content infant gorilla being groomed—and a happy baby splashing around in a sudsy tub. All clean!

IT'S BATH TIME! is an adorable installment in the Indestructibles series. The book features baby animals and baby who have gotten messy and need a bath. The book then shows each of the baby animals getting cleaned up before baby is in the tub. The book features full page illustrations with plenty of color and sweet parent-child interactions.

What I loved: This book is simple and short, which is great for the youngest attention spans. The illustrations are really fantastic with lots of color, sweet parent-child moments, and plenty of detail for children to enjoy. The storyline is simple, with a brief description of each bath for the animals and then baby. Although a small thing, I really appreciated that baby's bath is with Dad, as it is always great to see dads taking care of children in books too!

Another great thing about the series of Indestructibles is the durability. These books are safe for babies to chew on, lightweight so they are easy for babies to handle, do not rip, easy to clean off, and last through even the roughest of readers. This is a simple story that gives children a way to easily interact with books early on.

Final verdict: IT'S BATH TIME! is a durable and fun picture book that is perfect for babies. With a simple, short story and great illustrations, this is another adorable book for babies to sink their teeth into.

When the babies get dirty, it's time for a bath. Little elephants get splashed with water from their parent elephant's trunk. Parent lions lick the fur of the lion cubs to get them clean. And human babies have a bubble bath!

I love the cute artwork in this book! Every page is so colorful and fun. This would make the perfect gift for little babies and toddlers!

The book really does appear to be indestructible. I tried tearing one of the pages, and it wouldn't tear, although it crinkled up a little. I was surprised that the pages are so thin. This is NOT a board book. The pages are made of some kind of thick fiber, and there is no cover or spine. The pages are sewn together into a thin booklet. No wonder they say that babies could chew on it, and it is washable. Without a cover for babies to chew on, and no spine to get torn, the book really is indestructible!

The content is neither here nor there -- my daughter loves these books because it gives here the feel of turning pages without my worrying if she's going to rip the paper or give herself a paper cut. For that alone they are wonderful to get for your Littles

I took a bath before. I can relate to the characters in the book because they took a bath. Baths are fun. Of the experiment of books.
