Martimus is the intriguing fifth instalment in the Feisty Lawyers Series by Seelie Kay. This is another clever, complex, and well developed story- intriguing and suspenseful- and in true Seelie Kay fashion, it packs quite a punch!
This is a quick and easy read with all the elements needed to make it an engrossing read:
-Missing young wealthy socialites with influential parents- one of which being the former VP’s daughter. Check

5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the book Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay. It is a story that has suspense, romance, action, and danger. It pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a fast-paced book that had me hooked. The Agency is looking for eight socialites that have gone missing. No one seems to care until the daughter of a former vice president becomes one of the missing. Where are they? Will

Martimus is the fifth book in the Feisty Lawyer’s series. You can read this as a standalone, but you’ll probably have a better experience if you read the previous ones to get the background on the other characters.

I like the premise of this book. I had a difficult time getting past the way the main character, Cate, was written when she has to slip into her undercover role. There is something about intelligent women acting less than their smarts that just grates on me when it is written in certai

This is the fifth of the Feisty Lawyers series from Seelie Kay, and probably one of my favorite ones yet. I have read the other books in the series before diving into this one and I feel like while you could read them separately you would enjoy the book and series much more if they were read together and in order. I also have enjoyed watching Kay’s writing grow and flourish into what it is today. I loved this one because it threw in a bit of a mythical piece with the Martimus addition and I real ...more

Martimus is the fifth book in the Feisty Lawyers Series by Seelie Kay. This is a wonderfully written romantic suspense story that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down till I finished. To me this is one of those series that I will be reading over and over again. From the very beginning I was drawn in, its got action , danger , suspense and even romance. Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) By Seelie Kay. I love this series! This is the story of Agent Cade Creighton who is in love but as the Agency's honey pot she is super deep into an investigation and is not spending a lot of time on it. 8 Socialites have gone missing and its her job to find them. They are all 20 something women with wealthy parents. Its not a big deal until a very important Vice President's daughter is one of them. When the VP tells them about a false arrest, broken promises of d ...more

I give Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay, 4 stars.

This is another great addition to a fantastic series in romantic suspense. There is plenty of action as well as the kind of romance that would make your mom blush. If you are familiar with the series, you will know how well the author blends these into a story you cannot put down. The main story in this one is generally the same yet still completely different. There is much to follow, but it is not confusing at all.

This is the 5th book in this series and I've read all of the books before. I love this series and this author's style of writing, the way she can merge in storylines and although being a partly romantic series she has a way of making the romance only come forward when needed, while you're focused on the suspenseful part of the series.

I really liked this one, and it was nice getting to see the gang again. I loved the lab under water and would

I have no problem connecting with the characters. They made me feel as if I was part of the story which made it engaging and easy to read. This is a mystery, suspenseful story that kept me turning pages to the end. There is alot going on in this book but I had no problems keeping up. Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning. This was a great quick read. There are socialites that have gone missing, which includes a former vice president's daughter.

Who is involved? Can Cate and the team solve the mystery?

Cate goes undercover trying to get information on the missing. I loved her possessive boyfriend Hazelton, he isn’t really thrilled about all the men eyeing up Cate. He is a former Navy Seal and can be very

Martimus is already the fifth book in Seelie Kay’s Feisty Lawyers series. I cannot believe we are already at book number 5, it feels as if we just started! You could try to read the book as a standalone but I don’t know why one would do that as in my head the series builds the tension one book after another and you feel as if you know the gang and …yeah, do yourself a favour and start from the beginning!

This book drew me in immediately. The story was such an intriguing one and I was desperate to see how they would pull their plans off. This is number five in the Feisty Lawyers series and I would say you can read this one as stand-alone, but the whole series is sublime, they all just keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a story filled with danger and surprises. I love reading about this group. They are so smart and are able to pool their resources to finish their quests. This mostly is a bout Tillie whom we have met in past books. She is not a favorite of this group but she does get the job done.

My only problem was I was drawn to this because of the lab under the sea. There is a relative short time spent there then it’s not really mentioned again. So I was a bit saddened over this. I was looking forwar

Martimus by Seelie Kay is the fifth book in the Feisty Lawyers series. This can be read as a standalone book, but I recommend reading the whole series. This is a good read with steamy romance woven into a suspenseful crime story. I enjoy how there is a nice mix between the steaminess and the suspense. Also, the characters are interesting and keep me on my toes. The stories between the books become somewhat formulaic, but the author counteracts this with good dialogue and interesting characters. ...more

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay is my favourite from the series. It is a great story and the plot is good. The characters are strong and out to right wrongs. As always with Seelie’s stories I get lost in the action and thrills and become engrossed in the journey. She has a way of keeping one step ahead, just when you think you know what direction the story is going, you couldn’t be more wrong.

Martimus is the fifth book in the Feisty Lawyers series by Seelie Kay. This is one of my favorite series, and this book may be my favorite so far. I suppose you could read this book as a standalone, but I don’t know why you would want to miss out on the great stories from the first four books. Ms. Kay weaves great stories with very opinionated characters. I couldn’t put this book down. It’s full of action, adventure and hot steamy romance. I would highly recommen

Kay does an incredible job weaving a tale of intrigue and suspense that leaves the reader glued to their seats. I’ve loved this series and this latest installment did not disappoint. The main characters this round were fun to read and watch develop in their relationships. It was equal parts crime, intrigue, and amazing romantic chemistry. Loved every page and will absolutely one click Seelie Kay every time!
