In addition to overviews of C#, the CLR, and the FCL, this new edition of C# Essentials C# Essentials is an easy way for experienced programmers to evaluate and get up to speed quickly on the language best suited to developing web applications and services on the new Microsoft .NET platform.

This is a really small book. It presents C# concisely. My favorite feature was the tables of keywords and usages.

C# Essentials, by Ben Albahari et al. We toyed with a possible project using the language this year, but nothing came of it.
