This. This, right here? This was typical. No. I apologize. Wrong word. This, right here? This was ironic.
This was the most ironic sh*t, I'd ever experienced. How long had I spent wanting and pleading to die?
Then, at my darkest moment... I'd found a reason for hope. A possibility for something more than what had been a fairly depressing existence thus far. So... the iron ...more

Reread this one too. This has characters list with spoilers so you've been warned.
Lorcan is trapped at Broken House, her soul bound to it and the sadistic Mr. Black. She gets rescued and her soul gets bound to another. She gets close to Draven while there. Once she's out, she gets more creepy "You ruined me," messages and an eyeball. She goes back to school, etc.
Trigger warnings: sexual assault, PTSD, torture, gore, murder, drugs, etc.

I didn't like this one as much as the last one, so more like 3.5, but rounded up because I still enjoyed it.
This is definitely one of the better, or more personally enjoyable new RH series I have read this year. The concept of what Lorcab is is reasonably original and I like the relationship development and how mostly diatinct the men are (although some could do with a bit more characterising).
However, I had a few issues with this, though, which I didn't have in the first one.

Love these books
I loved these books, I'm really sad the third one isn't out yet but I'll be keeping an eye out for when it does and be sure to read it. I would recommend these books to others... I don't understand how there aren't more reviews for both of these books because they're my new favorites! ...more

I fell in love with M Sinclair's book when I read about Vegas so I had to go back and read the rest of her books. I love Lorcan's story so much. You can really feel how broken she and her brother are. It's going to take a lot to put them back together. The chemistry with her guys is amazing and keeps getting better each time she opens up to them a bit more. I can't wait to see where this story goes.

I fell in love with this author with the Red Masques series. I freaking loved that series and did not think she could get any better, and then she does. With the Tears of the Cosmos she has captured me with Lorcan, after all that this girl has been through she still goes on. She was wanting to give up, but now, now that she has something to live for, she is going to fight. I want to fight right along with her. Also, a warning, there are some triggers in here, a lot, so if you are sensitive to su

M. Sinclair, this was an amazing follow up in Tears of the Cosmos series. I am a little stunned at the moment writing this review to try and get my thoughts together. Fair warning: if you have triggers, then this book is not for you. It is dark and emotionally deep.
This story begins exactly where it left off and the intensity builds throughout. I was sitting on the edge of my seat, and wishing I was there in the story to help Lorcan out. When you can read a book and feel your heart beating out l ...more

“You’re only a prisoner if you let yourself be one.”
This second instalment of Lorcan’s story brought another load of pain, abuse and torment for both Lorcan and Cormac. During the first book, Lorcan finally accepted her guys and understood that they weren’t affected by her powers, and she genuinely seemed to understand that they loved her. However, at the start of this book she’s separated from her guys once again and only has Cormac to rely on during Broken House, until she meets Draven. This b ...more

Wow...just wow! The emotional depth and range that M. Sinclair showcases in this story is unreal. I went through the emotional wringer with this story, but it was beautiful, heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. I felt everything that Lorcan and her men felt, so in tune with the struggles, vulnerabilities and love that flowed so effortlessly from the pages.
This story is definitely not for the faint of heart and trigger warning should be headed, but M. Sinclair describes the struggles and p ...more

Trigger warning: lots of violence/torture.
This installment was better. I now think the lack of clarity in the first one was, in fact, intentional to portray the heroine's state of mind. I will say that this author needs a new editor. I love independent romance writers and can understand the occasional error, but anything that would show on a simple spelling/grammar check should be corrected prior to publishing. I don't need it to be perfect (I've gotten used to this common issue), but I don't w ...more

This starts where book one ended and let me tell you, this is a compelling read. The writer really has a creative mind and the storyline is amazing. Lorcan is totally broken and carrying a planes worth of baggage but she is also still loving and compassionate to those she loves. She is extremely strong and so fragile Both at the same time, you cannot help but love her. Her men are absolute monsters, strong and scary but the sweetness that they show Lorcan should be so at odds with their alpha pe

This series just gets better and better!! I loved it. I really feel for Lorcan and all of the events that happen to her and things just keep happening, it seems never ending. This girl needs a break!!!! There is so much that happens in this book. From the school to dealing with the unknown. Lorcan handles everything way better that I would!! She is so strong and her guys help build her up and not try and stop her from doing anything. The flashbacks are a great help in showing Lorcan when she wa

Loved it!!! A little dark, but no graphic details.
I absolutely loved this book. It does get a little dark in the first half of the book, but it doesn't go into graphic detail. I read the first book last Year, but I put this one off for so long because I was a little scared of how dark it would get.
But I finally put my big girl panties on and I regret waiting so long to read it. It takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride, but the love and support her guys show her makes it all the better. ...more

Wow
I don't think there's really anything I can say that would do this series justice in one word this book was phenomenal. The horrors that lorcan and her brother went through and continue to go through and how strong they were even when any sane person would of have gave up. Her protectors the men that refuse to leave and continue to fight. This series just pulls you in and refuses to let go. I can't wait to get started on the third book. Why aren’t these books longer? Seriously I could read them forever!! I mean they are long enough but so good you could just keep going! Thank god the next one is our! I mean I’m obsessed with everything M.Sinclair writes but for some reason, I kept bypassing these books! Big mistake! I thought they’d be too dark but they are the perfect mix of dark and light. Sexy and sweet! So excited for all 9 to come out!!!

Dark
What a dark, raw and emotional read. This is definitely the series I have the hardest time dealing with the trauma and pain of the characters. Don't get me wrong, it's a great series and invokes so many emotions while I read it. I really look forward to better times for Lorcan and her brother and men ...more
