Resumo do livro:

A boring novel. Christian Jacq writes it well, detailed, with research and the historical care required, altough it just isn't good. The narrative is slow and tedious, the main characters fail to captivate the reader.

Perhaps the real Akhesa don't fit well in a historical fiction and Tutankhamon wasn't much more than a pharaoh destined to oblivion. Historical figures in the shadows of great rulers of the same period of the Egyptian timeline.

For me, the better part of the book is the historical no

Ritualy, krasa a mystika Egypta a samozrejme

Lo resumiré en oraciones:

Akhesa, mis respetos. Una verdadera mujer.

Tutankamon, mi amor *w*

Ambos, ship forever.

I always have been fascinated by Egypt, the pyramids and its mythology, since I was a little kid. Christian Jacq wrote many books about it and his really good.
This one was no exception. :)

Christian Jacq is a French author and Egyptologist. He has written several novels about ancient Egypt, notably a five book suite about pharaoh Ramses II, a character whom Jacq admires greatly.

Jacq's interest in Egyptology began when he was thirteen, and read History of Ancient Egyptian Civilization by Jacques Pirenne. This inspired him to write his first novel. He first visited Egypt when he was s
