About the author

Aya Nakahara is an award-winning Japanese comic book author who made her debut in 1995. She is most famous for her Kansai-dialect romantic comedy series Lovely Complex (also known as ラブ★コン or Love★Com) which as well as spawning a feature film and a 24-episode animated television series has been translated into many different languages and has been published across the world.

She primarily writes in the romance and romantic comedy genres. Her most recent work is Dame no Watashi Koishite kudasai R (ダメな私に恋してくださいR).

La situación de Otani, Hitomi el abuelo y Risa llega a su fin. Espero que por fin el abuelo entienda quien le da felicidad a Risa.

Pobres chicos nunca podrán tener una cita normal, y creo que nunca han podido disfrutar al cien un concierto de Umibozu.

Haruka es un tonto...pero sus novias están locas

Not my favorite volume, but absolutely addictive to read! I could not stop reading and felt bad that I was so skeptical of Ôtani because he really is just nice to girls like Risa said… *hides*

But as she said too, SHE is special and loved that confrontation, and how both of them stood up for one another and declared how much they care for each other! It was lovely and made me happy!

I'm glad Gramps came around, even if he is one of my least favorite characters…

I loved the happiness Haruka experienced at the end because it was cute!

Also, Ôtani looked cute and funny as a cat! LOL!

This volume was kind of a letdown and for that, I would give it a 4.5.

They wanted to keep it appropriate for teenagers, but I don't think if things would have gotten a little bit serious and adult-material it would have done much harm. I mean, teenagers should see that sometimes reckless actions can have consequences.

Both with Otani spending the whole night at a strange woman place without absolutely anything happening and Risa going to the house of the same woman and she calling in on some gangster men to go to her house. They ended up playing cards with Risa but the situation could have been a whole lot worse in real life. In fact, what happened to Otani and Risa can only exist in books and I'm not a big fan of such imaginary situations when writing an otherwise totally realistic book/manga.

I have to say that the Granpa's reason for disagreeing with them was very cute and heartbreaking though.

Sigue la saga de lo del abuelo, y después una cita/concierto que se complicara .
Como ya había dicho en el anterior, todo lo del plan del abuelo, y lo que desencadena, la verdad se me hizo muy tonto y fuera de.

Un manga marrant qui se lit bien.

J'ai bien aimé suivre l'évolution des sentiments des personnages et des réflexions autour.

Par contre pas top l'amitié / amour avec des piques, des critiques, des engueulades et des coups à longueur de journée.
En fait, ça crie un peu trop tout au long du manga.

C'est aussi pas assez féministe à mon goût et ça banalise du sexisme ou des agressions sexuelles... Notamment avec le grand-père insupportable.

Et à la fin ça traîne trop en longueur. Je pense que ça aurait pu s'arrêter avant.

Divertente, ironico e leggero. Mi è stata regalata l’intera serie per Natale.
Ho visto l’anime ispirato a questo manga non so quante volte durante il periodo delle superiori. Poterlo finalmente leggere è una vera emozione per me.
Pur trattando tematiche adolescenziali, l’autrice affronta anche argomenti più complessi: emerge, per esempio, il tema transgender, il che lo rende un manga assolutamente adatto alla nostra contemporaneità pur essendo stato realizzato a partire dal 2001.

The resolution from the last volume didn't feel completely satisfying. I just hate how otani trusting that woman over risa is just kinda brushed off at the end. I would've broken up with him in risas place and then there would be another way to resolve it by otani putting in the work in order to build up trust and be accountable for his mistakes
