Annabeth:
A decade has passed since the M'Nai landed and took over Earth. There wasn't mass destruction, there wasn't much pillaging, but there was a whole lot of deception. Now, we're at their mercy, set to work under them, like slaves, digging for a rare element under our planet's surface that they say will be the key to protecting our world from another, more aggressive and evil species.
Kane:
To escape my father, I've joined the military as a senai, a M'Nai soldier. Sent to guard the workers, the humans, who are too weak to protect themselves. I'm pleased to be out from under his roof, however, I will never be out of his reach.
