Can an idealistic dog lover teach a jaded hockey player new tricks?

Lilly:
My life is like the love child of a train wreck and a dumpster fire right now. I’ve been canned, my professional reputation is shredded, and now I’m walking dogs to make ends meet.
But I still believe everything will work out. Somehow.
Then a dog at the park attacks my friend’s dog. At first, I’m ready

This was super cute and I loved this couple. I also loved that Otis, the dog was a big part of Easton and Lilly's story. He had a huge personality and was the glue that kept these two anti-relationship people together.

Now usually the anti-realationship characters are not my favorite. However, Kelly Jamieson wrote this couple in a way that avoided what I don't like about them, mainly not getting to see them together very much. This was the opposite. We got really good couple time with these two

I knew I needed this book as soon as I saw the cover. I am a fan of dogs, but I mean who isn’t? I am not so much a hockey fan, but that doesn’t make this book any less awesome in my opinion. Sports in romance is one of my favorite things, even though I have no interest in sports.

This book is adorable. I got witty banter, a dog, hockey, and a sweet romance. I don’t think I could ask for more.

Dog park meet cute. Yes. And then they are fighting the attraction. Well, Lilly does because she sees him

I am a huge fan of Kelly Jamieson's hockey series and I am sooooo excited that she is writing another one! MUST LOVE DOGS....AND HOCKEY is the first book in the BEARS HOCKEY SERIES, and let me tell you we are off to a great start!

Lilly is having a tough go of things at the moment, she lost her job and her boyfriend but she's trying hard to turn things around for herself by walking dogs to help make the bills. I admire Lilly for doing what she has to do in order to keep a roof over her head, most

Kelly Jamieson crafts a super fun, cute and sexy read.

Lilly’s life is a mess. Ever since she got fired for doing the right thing by speak out she hasn’t been able to get another job in the hospitality industry. The only thing that’s gone right so far was getting hired to take care of the cutest dog ever. Unfortunately, his own is a gorgeous hockey player with a chip on his shoulder.

Easton has lost everything and hockey is all he has left. He knows better than to get attached to people or pe

Must Love Dogs...and Hockey was the first book in the Bears Hockey series by Kelly Jamieson.

Easton Millar was a professional hockey player for the NHL team the New York Bears. He was recently traded and known for his temper.

Lilly Evans was in between jobs and filling in as a dog walker until she found her next opportunity.

The book began with a harrowing scene with Otis - I still cringe and am near tears when thinking about it - but Easton came to the rescue and the two bonded for life. Otis, th

Another sports romance series from one of my favorite authors! YAY!!

You see that cover? That cover is #winning exponentially! Want to know why? Because it tells the exact story. I am fully aware that this whole cover OCD I have is a me thing and most people don’t really even care at the level I do, but nothing scores more points with me than a cover that matches a story! Well done!

The thing that stood out the most to me about this story was how easy and light it all was. That’s not only refreshi

Whoa. Finished this in a few hours because I just couldn't put it down. It was sweet, with some hot moments of course! I loved hockey player Easton and dog walker Lilly--two mature, likable characters that needed something good to happen in their lives. But they were so much more than that. Neither wanted a 'relationship '--each had their reasons but by God you knew they would end up together because they were perfect for each other. And Otis the dog was the glue that held them together!

Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews
I’ve been reading Kelly Jamieson for a decade and she’s never written a bad book, seriously she hasn’t. She’s written some I’ve loved greatly and she’s written some that didn’t resonate with me, but she’s never written anything I couldn’t finish. That being said, Must Love Dogs…and Hockey got off to a really slow start for me. I struggled through the beginning of this book, but there was enough in it to keep me going and I’m so thankful that I did. I enjoyed this book; the characters were quirky ...more

After being rescued, a dog is abandoned in Easton's building. Though it was supposed to be a temporary situation, Easton could not resist this dog and knows he cannot not handle him alone. Fate brings him into contact with Lilly, a down on her luck dog walker, and though Easton wasn't looking for romance or a dog, he found both to be welcomed additions in his life.

I am well known in these parts as a hockey romance lover, but Jamieson went and sweetened the deal by working an adorable pup into t

Easton needs a dog sitter; Lilly needs a job…. Perfect combination! Perfect combination in more ways than one.

Easton saves a dog from certain death in an elevator and suddenly becomes his owner. With no knowledge of how to take care of him and a hockey career that has him more than a little busy he’s stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Lilly is out of a job, again, and she’s up to her eyeballs in debt. The way she sees it, her life is pretty much in the toilet. Her d

Must Love Dogs...and Hockey is a decent romance. On the plus side, there's very little hockey bro-ness to it. There are some references to the hero having been a player, but there's no evidence in book. There's a cute scene at the start where the hockey guys discuss contraceptives with oral, which admittedly made it weird when that was

4 Star review of Must Love Dogs & Hockey (Bears Hockey #1) by Kelly Jamieson
I was intrigued with the premise of this book and couldn’t wait to dive in to Must Love Dogs & Hockey. This was a well written romance which had me invested in the story from the first to the last chapter.
The chemistry between Lilly and Easton sizzles and as the intensity grows you could feel the heat. Neither of them were looking for a relationship and yet that is what happens. I loved Easton, this bad boy is swoon wor

I loved everything about this book. The characters had great chemistry, there is hockey and of course, dogs!

Easton is a professional hockey player and quickly becomes the caretaker of an adorable dog named, Otis. He runs into Lilly and offers her a job to watch Otis while he is gone for games or to take Otis out for walks. Lilly is in need of the money and the recommendation for her new dog walking business so she takes him up on his offer.

Kelly Jamieson's hockey novels are some of my favorites out there. I was excited to learn that we have a whole new team to love now as well, the New York Bears! This is the first in the new Bears Hockey series and it was a great way to start!

Lilly and Easton's story is just cute from word one to the last. An if the hockey hottie isn't enough to keep you keen, then add some adorable pooches, and if you are like me, you will find yourself smiling throughout.

Author Kelly Jamieson is one of my favorite hockey writers...but then throw in a rescue dog and an incredible slow-burn romance and...HAT TRICK!

The dog park "meet cute" where Lilly and Easton meet is great! Easton's backstory is heartbreaking and tragic, yet makes him the focused and infuriating hockey player he is. Lilly has some craziness in hers as well, but again...they wouldn't have met if it weren't for what she went through. Both characters are admirable and strong and it was perfect the

I love dogs, hockey and this story!

This author’s hockey reads are terrific so a new series had me at the front of the queue. Otis, Lilly, and Easton were the perfect mix of love that we all need more of…

Not sure who rescued who but Otis was the center of Lilly’s and Easton’s relationship. Lilly was funny and positive even as she wrestled with money problems and an overwhelming need to not disappoint those she cared about. Easton was trying to keep his head down, not wanting to lose any more than
