In these tumultuous times we live in, it’s so refreshing to read about a family that loves each other selflessly, a family known for integrity and compassion, a family who seeks the heart of Jesus. The McKays in Healing Their Hearts are one such family, and it was truly a pleasure to meet them on these pages. In particular I enjoyed becoming acquainted with Emma & Liam, who have been married several years (and still flirt!) & have two adorable children. This is the first book I’ve read in the se ...more
4.5 stars and 5/10 hearts. This was my first book by this author, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It turned out so good! To start with, it’s about fathers. More specifically, daddy-daughter duos! I love that!!! It’s also got the single dad trope (without any divorce or anything) AND it is just full of police officers and sheriff deputies. AND it has some amazing sibling relationships (I absolutely love every McKay family scene!). AND it has two amazing main characters. Mark and Liam have amazi ...more

Thank you to the author for allowing me to read this for review. All opinions are mine own.

I feel like I gotta start with the cover. It's super sweet and I love that the author took the photos herself.

I enjoyed this story. It shows the every day lives of family and friends lives woven secrets, adoption, marriage, police work, and more! I'm not a huge contemporary reader but for what it is, I know that those who especially like present day settings will enjoy it even more. It d

I received an ARC copy of this book from the author. All opinions are honest and all opinions are my own.

This is the first book that I have read from this author, and while I had a bit of difficulty in the beginning, it did turn out to be a really sweet and light read for me. When I started reading this book I didn’t realize that it was book 6 in the author’s Faith to Love series. So, if you haven’t read any of the other books in the series, it’s kind of hard, at first, to keep up with the names

I would like to thank the author for sending me an advanced copy to read and review. All opinions are my own.

This book just melted my heart! The characters were so easy to love and they were some of the nicest characters I’ve ever read about. The first thing that pulled me to this book was that it was set in a small town and I’m a sucker for small town romances and it did not disappoint at all. It took me a minute to get into and figure out what characters were related to each other and whatnot

Healing Their Hearts by Cleopatra Margot

The author gladly sent me a copy of this book. Thank you. I didn’t expect much as I am not familiar with this author but wow, I like the way she writes. Simple, to the heart and lots of dialogues. There are so many characters in the book as this is the sixth book with the McKay’s. They are a big family and lots of names to remember. But the sweet dialogues and funny exchanges among family and friends makes it easy for me to know who’s who and who does what

Overall I really enjoyed this book. The community is one that makes you want to move in and be neighborly. (Because I write non-fiction books about Nebraska, I loved reading a fiction book about my state!) The BerryPepper days sounds like the best kind of party ever!

I like the fact that law enforcement are treated with respect and consideration. Scripture verses fit in with the storylines and do not feel like preaching. They are also presented in the correct context - this is definitely a Chris

I received an e-ARC from this author and all opinions are my own.

I loved this story! Knowing that the book was set in a small town had me excited about it before I even started reading it! I loved every single character and found myself interested in each one of their lives. The romance in this book was absolutely adorable and the children were precious! I loved how all of the characters were intertwined together perfectly. My favorite part of the book was definitely the Faith that was included

Healing Their Hearts was a read that made my toes tingle! Not only is it a romantic love story from multiple points of view, but it is a tale of bringing broken people together and making them whole. Margot is on a journey of writing stories that are packed full of love and centered around faith and family, and she has accomplished just that in Healing Their Hearts.

If you’re looking for a sweet story that makes you smile, and brings hope, then this is the book for you. All the characters are relatable, and I felt as if I could become friends with any of them. Even the town itself was one I could find myself either visiting, or possibly even living there!

The one drawback of the story for me was the differing POV’s. The author does make mention of this in the very beginning, before you even start the story, and I appreciate that. Sometimes I can read a book

This is my first story by Cleopatra Margot and I enjoyed this young author’s story. Being the 6th book in this series, it was a little confusing at first trying to get to know and figure out all of the characters. Though after a while I was ok with the characters, I think reading the other books in this series in order would help, as well as you would enjoy the full stories. I could stay in the little town of Believe, Nebraska for a good while. This is where Liam and Emm

This was my first book by this young author. She does a great job at pulling you into the story and the characters. You want to be part of the small town of Believe, Nebraska. I must admit that at the beginning I as a bit lost. This is definitely part of as series and I highly recommend reading them in order just so you know more about the characters and what their life backgrounds are all about. That being said I picked up pretty good despite not having read the other books but I will definitel ...more

3.5 Stars

This is the sixth book in the series and while it can be read as a standalone, there are a lot of characters to keep track of and how they are connected to each other, especially with four characters’ points of view throughout the book. However, it doesn’t take too long to fit everyone in the correct square (and those who have read the entire series will track right along).

Much of this book is about the normality of life. Liam and Emma are married with children. They have their routines

Healing their Hearts

Healing their Hearts is a story full of friendships, family and more. Liam and Emma was a amazing couple. They opened up their home to a stranger. Eva broke her wrist in a car wreck and was passing through town.

I loved all the children in the book. Children always make a book enjoyable. Something special happens to one child. Read the book to see what it is. Also a lot of surprises with Eva family.

This book is part of a series. It can be read as a stand alone. I do hope to

This was the first book that I’ve read by Cleopatra Margot. I was originally drawn to the book because of the police family on the cover. The characters in this book were likeable, funny, and REAL. I loved getting to know them. I also loved that Cleopatra wove in some spiritual lessons throughout the book that the characters learned. On top of that, I felt like I was learning along with them. All in all, I truly enjoyed my time in the town of Believe. It definitely won’t be my last book by this ...more

Cleopatra Margot resides with her family and their golden retriever in small town, rural Nebraska. Inspiration for her novels comes from both real life + fictional characters and storylines in her brain. The town of Believe is based on her own hometown, but with embellishments. She and her two younger siblings are homeschooled, and enjoy traveling with their parents and the dog. When she’s not wri ...more
